I moved to the area a few months ago and this shop was recommended to me. I've been a few times and been happy with the service. This last time however was very disappointing. I got my nails done on a Sunday (gelX) and by Wednesday with normal activities 4 nails had broken off. I went to get them fixed and they did not charge me. That same night two nails broke. I went back Friday to get them fixed and decided to just get a full set and take the gelX off. The person doing my nails didn't do a great job but I was over it after two hours and 3 visits in less than a week and ready to go. When she was done I went to the front to pay and she said it would be $70. I told her I would not be paying that much since this wasn't my fault. The owner came and then said he would only charge $60 ( taking off $10 for the take off). This was still unacceptable to be but I wasn't in the mood to fight so paid the $60 and left. I called the person who recommended the shop to me and they called asking me to return which I did and was given $20 back. I was also told that GelX doesn't last long and breaks easily (which isn't true I've had them done before and no one mentioned this the first time i got them done). I won't be returning to this shop after this visit as this was poor customer service and I shouldn't have been charged a thing to have my nails redone and then told the product I picked always breaks easily but wasn't told this prior to getting them done. read more

It was our first visit, and even without an appointment, they were able to accommodate my mom and me for a last-minute pedicure. Digging out all the nasties under my toes, meticulously getting rid of any dead skin, and massaging my legs really well. I told the lady who worked on my sisters feet to also give her the #7 pedicure treatment but I don't think my sister was as thrilled with the work of her technician. Too bad. (with photos) I've been to this salon about 5 times. I'll say that the owner is nice and personable. However, the quality of service has been pretty poor. At this visit and last, I was disappointed I didn't get a foot massage. They basically rub oil and lotion on and that's it. This visit was the worst. So bad I would never go back. I got a gel manicure after a gel pedicure. I couldn't really see what they looked like until she was finished because when she isn't actively painting them, they're in the light. When I saw the finished nails, I complained that the full mail wasn't painted. The owner offered to fix them. At this point, I've been there for an hour and needed to get home to my toddler. I looked at them more and cried on the way home, knowing that this would be the last manicure I'd have for a very long time and that these would be the nails in my newborn baby pictures. (Due soon). So I called them and we scheduled for me to come back the next morning. While getting the gel taken off, I explained that my nails were cut really short so I'm not sure if she can fix the shape and the paint might accentuate the weird shape. She told me that if I don't want them painted, then she would give me $15 back. I told her I paid $35. She said that was for the massage and manicure. I told her I didn't get a massage and that's another reason I will not be coming back. This is when hell breaks loose. The original employee got very loud and defensive, insisting she gave me a massage. I agreed, oil was put on my arm but it was not massaged in. She was acting crazy and getting way to close while I was sitting in a chair and couldn't move back. I told the owner's wife she needs to get her employee away from me. She told the employee to back up. She left and still was insistent. I began to insist that they review the cameras because I was not massaged. The woman removing the gel asked if she put oil on and massaged my arm "like this" and briefly massaged my arm. I told her again, she put oil on my arm but she didn't massage it in and that she can review the cameras. Conveniently they couldn't look at the cameras. So she asked what I wanted. I said I want the gel removed and a refund. The owners wife stood up, grabbed $35 out of her cash drawer and threw it down at the table I was at and said "here's your refund. you're good" and gestured I leave. I got up and got my stuff and said, "thank you. don't worry, I will not be coming back but you should absolutely review the footage since you expect your employees to give massages. I asked for a design what I wanted is pictured I wanted the ghost face and they even had another worker look at it and I didn't get that they could have simply told me they could not do it. So I asked her if we can just do the French tip and she didn't do that she proceeded to just do the blood design and white nail, this was my favorite nail shop now never ever again, I'm so disappointed and so upset with my nails like I ask ahead of time and show refrence pictures every time, now I have to find another salon to fix it. And charging for the length of my nail with the refill????? and if I'm paying so much for a simple French tip more than 1 coat of polish would be nice you can see right through the black. At least they redid it when I didn't like it the first time but I can tell they were mad and in a rush.. Didn't listen to me when I said the stones would fall off. Just told me it's what they do and it would be fine, that they would just put extra super glue. Put several small stones on sideways. Now the sideways stones fell off and the big stars chipped, the very next day. I cant put my hair up without ripping my hair because of the edges of the stones. Charged me extra and never made me away of the extra charges. All because they didnt have the polish I asked for. I had just got a new full set two weeks prior with theM so I go in today and asked for a fill and a pedi. They decided to do my fill while doing my pedi ( bad idea) not only was I not able to relax and enjoy my pedi but I felt like the lady doing my fill was rushing . When she finally was done she asked me to wash my hands so I did I took a good look and my nails were horrible all uneven some flat some curves most nails were not even even in length or width they are lumpy and the tops aren't filed nice and straight either my ombré is horrible! I told the lady I wasn't happy and if she can please even them out and she said no .. it's basically this way because I got a fill not a new set and I can't expect it to look like a new set .. I was just like .. oh ok I mean I never had this issue at other places specially with a first time fill on a set but ok .. so I get up to the register and the owner says 135 !!!! Ibrahi ... I think I literally sh!7 myself when she said this ... so I question her I'm like 135 !?!? For a fill and a $40 mojito pedi ?? And she said YES! I'm charging a full new set cause we had to change the color and file them and make them like a new set cause too many fills ... wait .... What? At this point I'm disgusted by how both women have two completely different stories that both contradict each others statements.. I show her my sh!77y nails and say look at nails and I was just here two weeks ago for a new set ! This is my first fill, she sees the lumps and bumps and starts talking her language to the other lady and she offers to redo my nails ... after two hours of sitting the last thing I want to do is sit for another two hours ! Then she turns and says ok ok I'll give you $5 back at this point my blood pressure and anxiety is rising and I realize I need to go before I regret anything that I might say.. I am truly disappointed and disgusted by how this company has gone down the sh!7 hole and instead of valuing their customers they are ripping them off ... I sat there and watch her insult another customer that has been going up her for 14 years she wanted the lady to get up off her station so she can do someone else's nails since that person was in a hurry .. I'm so glad that lady was like no ! Finish my nails Holly ! Why is that woman more important then me she said .. I totally felt that ladies pain at that moment... I really hope Holly reads this and realizes she's losing good customers and that she shouldn't be ripping people off ..
