This was my first time coming here, and I'm really disappointed with the experience. I got a gel manicure and pedicure this past Monday, and my nails are already chipping just a few days later. Gel is supposed to last, especially considering the higher price, and I take care of my nails -- this should not be happening. I also specifically asked for pink French tips, but they painted my nails completely pink instead. When I mentioned it, they just laughed and said "next time." No apology, no fix, no discount -- nothing. It felt like they didn't take me seriously at all. Honestly, they don't even deserve the one star I'm forced to give, but it's the minimum required to post this review. Poor quality and even worse customer service. I am not one who enjoys being pampered. So I'm probably not the one to review the business. This place has such a relaxing, serene vibe. Peter was my technician. He definitely takes his time. I wrote that three months ago. I went yesterday. It'd been three months since I had mani-pedi. Don't ask, three months! Personal reasons. Ivy was my technician. Besides the skills, which were incredibly good, her whole vibe was gentle, thoughtful. I was in a place where I was worried I was going to bust out crying. I almost was singing when I left. No TV, background piano softly. i left ready to face the world with confidence. Incredible. This is personal but I got to tell someone. So off I go to Kaiser. I came here twice, first time for a Spa Pedicure with gel and a full set of acrylic nails ($118), and the second time (today) for an Express Pedicure with gel, acrylic removal, and gel polish ($90). Pros: - Two people work on your mani and pedi at the same time. The pedicure ends in time for the nail tech to do the acrylic set at a separate station. - The massages at the end of the manicure and pedicure were great. - Both times, the pedicure was solid. No complaints! Cons: - Price point for the quality of work - There is a bit of carelessness with the manicure due to the nail tech trying to rush through the process. Keep in mind that I had the same NT both times. When I got the full set, she accidentally cut my pinky due to filing my nail aggressively and with heavy pressure. When the edge of the board cut through my skin, and she saw it happened but didn't apologize. Three times after that, she would forget that she had cut me and would go at the same speed/pressure/angle and go over the cut with the file. It wasn't until I winced or pulled my hand away that she would remember and be more gentle. - Today, she took the quick route to remove the acrylics by sliding a fake nail in between the natural nail and the acrylic and popping it off. If you have ever had a nail tech do this, you know how painful and damaging this is to the nails. I assumed that a $15 acrylic removal would be one where they take the time to soak the nails for a few minutes in acetone so that the nails are left as intact and healthy as possible. This method tore up my nail beds, and it'll take a few months to recover. I winced every time she would pop off a nail, and she would always make a comment or chuckle as if I was overreacting. The man doing the pedicure looked at her like "What are you doing?", and she said and gestured to me as if to say "It's not me, it's her" (the convo was in Vietnamese). The gel manicure was unfortunately sloppy and crooked. I will only be coming back for pedicures. read more

FINALLY!! I found the nail salon I've been searching for and I've been in manteca for about 6 years now Linda did my pedicure today and let me just say, OH MY GOODNESS!!! She was amazing!! She took her time, gave me theeee best massage, and was very communicative. I had a really rough morning and she made me feel so relaxed. My brother and sister were with me and had the same things to say about Tammy and the guy (didn't catch his name) who worked on my sister. We didn't have appointments and we're able to be seated right away although I'm sure on a busier day, they recommend making an appointment. We were all very satisfied with our visit and we've already planned our next nail trip. read more

Tammy did my pedicure and she was amazing!! (I almost fell asleep ) She really took her time and gave the best massage after. I read the reviews and asked for Linda to book my pedicure. She pays attention to detail when she cleaned up my toes, did such a thorough and beautiful job and her massage was so relaxing. I couldn't believe she cared like she did , just took her time and I didn't feel rushed but she still got me out of there in less than an hour. most places do an ok job but I actually felt pampered. This salon is wonderful. I had been taking my elder mom to them since we moved to Lathtop in 2019. They treated my mom so nice and always made her feel welcomed and safe, especially on the days I had to drop her off or have. Caregiver drop her off. Prices are reasonable and I LOVE the Lavender Pedicure. I always add on an extra 10 min massage when I have the time... It's worth checking out! read more

Not happy at all with this place.... They charge so much, but their place smells overwhelmingly like nail polish (yes I am aware the smell would be there but it is seriously too much). Their nail polish quality is also much lower than standard. I left a review almost 3 years ago and decided to go again to see if any changes occurred. Sadly it wasn't much better. They still struggle with estimating appointments so it ends up taking them much longer than what they think.. and your appointment time gets pushed back. Walk-ins are even worse. To make matters worse, I got my acrylics off and got gel polish instead. Not even a week in... the nail polish developed these ugly bubbles that popped, awful cracks throughout the polish and the polish by the cuticle began lifting off the nail. read more

I came in for a cute acrylic all white pedi and first the guy didn't know how to do acrylic so idk why he kept going on with my pedicure. when he was done since it was clear it was hard to tell it was messed up. once he painted them white it was soooo bad lol i told him to fix it but it just looked the same. went to my car my bf made me go back inside to fix because they were fucked up. went back inside to tell them to fix it and they wanted him to fix it so i asked for someone else who knows how to do it. she fixed it the most she can but it hasn't even been a week and my toe is chipped already... personally would never go back here again. when the lady was fixing it the guy was just looking the whole time made me feel uncomfortable for even going back. read more

I come here for my pedicures every two weeks and Molly always does an exceptional job. I get a straight but a little rounded shape for my toes, I have a couple of ingrown nails and she always know how to make them look exactly how I envision them. She is very professional and pays very close attention to detail. If you want a really great pedicure, I'd recommend Molly! Came in today for a mother & daughter special treat they did a nice job with the application but failed on the designs we requested. I asked for something specific when I scheduled the appointment, came in and settled for what they offered but the look of disappointment on my daughter's face was tough and regretful. I got short and round nails, some of which have a diagonal shape going to them? I heard many great things about this salon but I will be taking my services elsewhere! Oh my this was a terrible experience! I had a dipped manicure and a gel pedicure for $75 and if I was delighted, I would not have cared. I was very specific when I called and made my appointment, I wanted to see someone who was experienced. The appointment started 30 minutes late. They started with the pedicure and I told them that I didn't want my nails done at the same time, but they started working on them anyhow. It didn't take long for them to make a mistake and cut my cuticle very badly. They didn't let me wash the cut and proceeded to put that green stuff to stop the bleeding and then proceeded to pinch my finger with nail dust on their fingers!!! REALLY?! Needless to say, it was all down here from there - I wouldn't go back even if was for FREE! read more

Acrylics are literally pried off the nail. If you are looking for grinding/ sanding to remove the acrylics, you should ask first before the process starts and decide if that's what you want. I still have pieces of acrylic stuck to my nails. read more
