I began my local search and found a spot nearby who did decent work, but their creativity was limiting. After 3mo I starred to realize the nail tech was cutting corners on my nails, and repeatedly filled over old acrylic so my nails weren't lasting ling at all. I began my search again and found busy bee. I saw Tina's work on yelp and knew she was it. Booking was quick and easy and she made time for me the same day. When I walked in, she looked to have just taken someone else and so I sat and waited about 15 minutes before her colleague Rosie welcomed me to her seat To begin removing my old color. Rosie noticed how old my nails looked and offered to provide me with a full set of fresh nails at a very reasonable cost So I agreed, and she prepared my nails while Tina finished with her client. Once her client left, I was welcome to transition to tina's seat, which began my new relationship with my new nail artist. Tina's shop is very well stocked with anything you could think of from color to acrylic powder to accessories you'd like to add into your nail design. I showed her the inspo pick I was hoping to get and she absolutely nailed it- every pun intended. At 25 years old and owning her own nail Salon I couldn't be more proud of her And I will definitely be supporting her business as an ongoing customer. Thank you, Tina and Rosie. I arrived about 25mins early and since it wasn't crowded at the time, they were able to get me right in. Hana (I believe that's how she spelled her name!) made sure to check in with me a number of times to ensure color, design, general nail were good to go, which I appreciate. Sometimes at nail salons it gets past the point of being able to fix without starting over so it's helpful to have someone that's actually checking in. When I go back in for my pre-vacation set, I'll be booking with her. I was a bit surprised at the $77 price tag for a fill, but in fairness, I did not look at a price in advance nor did I bother to ask, so I'm not sure how much of it came from the fill itself and how much of it was, the rhinestones added to the nails. Next set won't have the rhinestones by default so we shall see! I'm happy with her final product. :-)

It wasn't the most comfortable or relaxing pedicure I've ever had, but the end result turned out fine in terms of the paint job. As for my nails, I do appreciate corrections that were quickly made when I asked, but I do wish that nail techs in general would speak up early if shown a design that they aren't quite sure they can execute. I'm one that comes in with back up plans just in case, but the color scheme is usually different. So once they say they can do it I'm committed to that design. The one I got was OK... And I did tell him good enough when he asked, but because I knew that was pretty much where we were. I don't dislike it, which is why I didn't go through the trouble of having him try again... But I'm not in love with it. When it came to the painting, it kind of felt like the job started being rushed due to an unhappy customer they were trying to get to. Despite making appointments, I consistently end up waiting 30-45 minutes or more before services actually begin. My most recent visit was the final straw. I specifically booked an appointment with the expectation that my full set and pedicure would be done simultaneously to save time. Instead, I sat waiting nearly 45 minutes for the pedicure technician while only my nail service started. Even after explaining to the manager that I had limited time and needed to coordinate childcare responsibilities, there was no effort made to accommodate the appointment I had booked. This isn't an isolated incident. On a previous visit, I was essentially told that they were busy and couldn't keep to the appointment schedule--even though I had made an appointment in advance. If appointments don't mean anything, then what's the point of scheduling them? Many of us are balancing work, family responsibilities, and childcare. We plan our day around appointments and expect businesses to respect the time they ask us to reserve. Unfortunately, this salon operates more like a walk-in factory than an appointment-based business. The inconsistent service quality is one thing, but the repeated disregard for customers' time and poor appointment management is why I won't be returning.
