They both possess an excellent communication skills and articulateI the vision of their entire staff. They take time to meet every customer and get to know them like family. This review is for Melody! I'm new to the area and was searching for a nail artist. I was assuming I'd have to travel to find someone who does nails the way I like, but luckily I found Melody (via Instagram). I'm very particular about the way I like my nails to look and she definitely exceeded my expectations. She took her time, never making me feel rushed even though I had to bring my young daughter with me. She made us both so very comfortable the entire time. As for my nails, they came out perfect. She's so detailed and definitely gave me exactly what I wanted. I've honestly never had someone get my nails completely straight; she noticed that my nails grew a certain way and made sure to build the shape so they weren't crooked. I wish I could give just the person ZERO stars. The other ladies in the salon were friendly. I have waited months to post these because I was so mortified. One of the attached pictures is what I asked for. Specifically stating, I know my hair is dark brown so I don't expect it to be hag light immediately. But I like the transition of her color, and ash tone. I went to Gina W. Don't think that spelling is right on her name. This is how she allowed me to leave the store. All happy and chipper stating "Blondes have more fun!" There is no way she didn't see how messed up this was while she blew it dry. It was a nasty brass yellow!!! And she didn't even use a toner on me, just a purple shampoo. This was back in May. My hair to this day is still fried and completely messed up!! And I've gotten so many trims to try and fix this mess. I obviously didn't feel comfortable going to her to fix it. If u want someone to seriously do an amazing job on your hair, go to All glamm'd Up salon in ripon and ask for Brittany. She saved my hair from this mess and is unrecognizable now, and what I ask for every time. Do not go to Gina at K and Co. I really enjoyed my experience at K & Co. I don't get my nails done very often, but I have a special event for work next week, and I just had a baby and then a surgery, I'm working full time, and I have two kids under two. Making the appointment for a mani/pedi was both a special treat and an attempt to look like a somewhat put together adult lol. I called about a week before and didn't have a problem getting an appointment. I was one of the first clients there so the salon was quiet when I arrived, but steadily filled up. It is very nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Sonia was wonderful. She was knowledgeable about color trends and made some great suggestions while still validating my personal preferences. She recommended gel since the event is still a few days away, but didn't push it (I went with her suggestion and I'm so glad I did). She also took her time, which really made the experience itself worth the time and resources I had put aside for it. The entire salon is CLEAN and it shows; I was treated with all clean, new utensils and saw them put away to be cleaned or disposed of. I don't know if it's my skin or my nail shape or what but I rarely come out of a nail appointment without a cut or scrape; not so this time! No issues, no pain, and I felt relaxed when I left. Sonia was a delight to chat with; I was a pretty boring client since I kept zoning out, but she was so kind and encouraged me to get comfortable and rest. And I did! I briefly met the owner, Kim, and talked to a few of the other employees and everyone was exceptionally kind. What a wonderful little getaway right here in town; I'll definitely visit again! read more

I actually took a friend for her hair appointment. I walked into a gorgeous salon & greeted by Serena. The salon was gorgeous & spotless clean. Serena suggested a pedicure while I waited for my friend. Kim the owner gave me the best pedicure I've ever had. I sat in the most comfortable pedi chair ever! I will be returning once a month for a pedicure. If you are looking for a gift Kim has beautiful jewelry she designs herself. Very affordable. I walked out with 2 pretty new earrings. If I didn't already have my lovely hair stylist I would have Serena do my hair. She is a sweetheart & did a great job for my friend. Kim is brilliant! I hadn't found a nail professional I absolutely loved in the area until today, I will be a client forever! As a salon professional myself I am always skeptical about manicuring practices, hygiene and sanitation. Kim's services were immaculate!! Her treatment room is cozy and cheerful, and her menu has price ranges to fit everyone's budget. I selected a mid range pedi and felt like a million bucks walking out and it was only $25 (prices range from $18-35)! Nail service was less then a 2, but the lady was trying. I felt so bad, but honestly it seemed like she had no experience doing nails. Even the handling of the tools needed to "do nails" seemed new to her. I left with a job 1/2 done after an hour work, and went to another salon to get the work done here fixed. 3 of the nails were lifting within hours! Super cute salon, but nail work definitely needs improvement. :( read more
