Things happen, but after that Sky completely stopped responding to me. No follow-up, no effort to rebook, nothing. It felt very unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I needed a cut while my regular stylist is on leave - I called and got an appointment with Ashley. The salon is super cute and clean. It looks great and feels comfortable. Prices are low to moderate, I'm used to a more full service experience where everything is included so I was thrown by individual pricing for cut, wash, style etc. However the individual prices were not expensive... I'm just used to paying for a cut that includes a wash, dry, style, etc. Ashley was not super outgoing or conversational but she did a great job on my hair and I've received many compliments on it. She listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I just felt awkward sitting there the whole time because she was silent and seemed like she didn't want to be there or was in a bad mood. I'm still giving 5 stars because the salon is nice and I received what I wanted. read more

I am so upset with this salon, I came in and asked for 2 inches off, I just wanted a trim, my long layers were outgrown so she said she would give me the long layers back and I ended up with this. I went to this salon for coloring and hair trim by Ashley. I'm so disappointed because my hair is horrible and the color wasn't even. She did bleach my hair in one hour. That's too fast!!! Leading my hair are break and extremely dry. I have to got some treatment products from to restore my hair. read more

This is such a beautiful salon. It was very clean and the decor was so cute and modern. I was already relaxed once I walked in and I didn't have that rushed feeling I normally do at hair salons. I got my hair cut by Patti the owner and I absolutely loved it. She did my layers and blowout exactly how I wanted it. I usually am very picky with my haircuts and so glad I gave this salon a chance. I will be returning as long as I can have my hair done by Patti. She has an amazing established business and I'm glad it's a salon I can rely on. I actually went here about two months ago and after being a horribly customer bc of being busy and having scheduling issues, the ladies were completely understandable and tried to make it work. When I finally went in they were really sweet and welcoming and I came out really happy with my haircut. Really calm and happy vibes. While getting my haircut the woman gave me tons of advice after telling her my hair history on how to get healthier hair again and I will definitely be coming back to try out their other services. She's horrible my hair literally broke off within a few days!!!! after going to back to a different salon they also said whoever cut my hair didn't even cut it right!!! she also books you then try's to reschedule you if she has something to do! I didn't have a good experience here. The ladies don't even greet you or smile when you walk in. I came in today for a wash and blow dry done by Connie. I asked her to blow dry it smooth and she made it so dry, frizzy and dull looking. She left it partially wet at my roots. Thank god I didn't give her a tip. They need to work on both their customer service skills AND the work they do. Would NOT recommend! read more

I've had my both my hair and my sons hair cut at this salon several times, even though the stylist was very unprofessional, i.e. as she was cutting my hair she had her hair highlighted at the same time (the second stylist was actually putting the foil on her hair as she was snipping my hair!). In the end my hair looked pretty good and so did my sons. Here comes the big but - they treated my son rudely. There is no way I'll go back after they tried to correct my sons behavior when he wasn't doing anything wrong. I promptly them never-mind and I left. I will not be returning. read more

Horrible!!! Never go here! I have been going to the one in ripon for years so I thought I'd try the one in Manteca. Worst day of my life! The owner did my hair, so thought she would know what she was doing obviously not. It took 6 hours, dyed my hair 3 times, and cost 100$, and tons of damage to my hair. Because she clearly didn't know what she was doing. Isn't that their only job?! To know what their doing! Exactly. And I have scabbing on the back of my neck because of all the chemicals. I was in the area and needed to get a haircut. I don't know Manteca very well so I asked for a hair salon. This place was mentioned. I walked in the place and it was a glorified supercuts! It's totally stuck in the 90's. Faux plants and dusty greenery at that all over! It's so cheesy. The place was a mess! It wasn't very busy when I walked in which should have been a red flag at the get go. Patty did the cut! I asked for a simple layered haircut. Textured and piecey layers in the front and crown to create volume! I definitely didn't get that! She trimmed 2 inches off as instructed and that's all about it! I was coaching her the whole time! I was not happy with the way my hair turned out! It was more jagged layers than a textured seemless layer! Will not recommend this place. Drive a little ways to Livermore which I should have done! read more

I have been having Connie cut my hair for several years, since she does what I like with my hair and has a calm, friendly manner; but i made the mistake of having Diane cut it last year and it was the most upsetting hair cut experience i have ever had! I went back to Patty and Connie to complain and they were apologetic but didn't offer me any refund except to say we will try to fix it - since the hair was cut so badly, it was difficult to fix. Diane didn't stop talking about herself during the haircut long enough to listen to what i wanted and she also chopped the back so short that i couldn't pull it back in a pony; she also cut the front longer than the back (not what i wanted) and it was longer on one side in the front. it was the WORST hair cut i have ever had. Even worse than the time i tried to cut it myself when i was 12 years old! I am truly saddened by the fact that i must now look for somewhere else to go and CA Styling had made me "hair cut shy" ! I cannot recommend this salon any more. read more
