Wow! This was great! She listened to feedback and executed perfectly. She was precise, efficient…read moreand most importantly, very clean. I did not get any skin reaction or bumps from her threading. I am so impressed! There was only the typical temporary minor redness that lasted less than an hour. This is the cleanest threading experience I've ever had because my skin did not have any kind of irritation at all. My eyebrows are cleaned up and my skin was fine like nothing happened. Usually at other places, I would break out and have angry inflammation akin to folliculitis that takes a few weeks to heal but somehow that didn't happen here. It was quite magical. Completely unexpected and pleasant surprise! I came here on a whim after perusing Yelp reviews and I'm glad it worked out so well. She's really good! And she keeps the space and tools (her hands and thread) so clean and sanitary. I think that's why I didn't have any infection at all. I didn't know that was even possible (for me not to get a skin infection after threading). The best part was that she listened to my concerns and executed the request well.

Man, I'm bummed to have to update my review and I will not be returning. I have been going here for…read moreyears. I go multiple times throughout the year and have had amazing experiences. However, each of my last few visits have had small issues that, if they happened only once, I could have ignored. But, I can't really ignore the small issues anymore. I am not a confrontational person, so no, I did not say anything each time something happened because it felt nitpicky, until I realized that something was happening during every recent visit consistently. And overall, my experiences were still pretty good. One of the first times there was an issue with unprofessionalism it was something that made me uncomfortable. I once overheard the blonde lady, that's worked there for a long time, talking badly about someone's body that she had just given a Brazilian wax to. So, I noted to myself, to never get waxed there. The last several massages I've had there have been with the same person. And she's actually great. But some things have happened during my massages that have cut into my ability to relax. Every single massage for at least the last year, she has brought in what sounded like a metal container with iced water? And she repeatedly will refill a water bottle loudly during my massage with iced water and then constantly stop the massage to loudly drink from it with the ice in the metal bottle or cup clinking around. I have never seen what it is, because I am face down during the massage but that's what it sounds like. Multiple times I can hear this masseuse and have also caught other masseuses here texting or doing things on their phones during my massage. Let me preface this next one with, I am actually 420 friendly.... However, I am 99% sure during my most recent massage, she was hitting a vape. I smelled it MULTIPLE times during my massage. Normally doesn't bother me out in the real world... but during my massage??!! Also, when I walked in for my most recent massage, the owner, was who let me in. I said Hello, good morning to her. No response. Another thing worth noting is, their neighbors have LOUD barking dogs. I understand the spa cannot help this. But you can and will hear it during your massage. Something changed here. I am sad to have to go elsewhere.

My spas packages are usually a hour each service so I should have ask ahead of time. The bathroom and waiting area is outdated and not an actually lounge area to get ready for your services like other spas it's just a big room with some chairs to fill out the 100 questioned paperwork and the bathroom had items stored in the shower area and was very dusty. My real issue was with my facial, I did tell her I have sensitive acne prone skin and she said she was using products for sensitive skin but I did break out after, and while I was have my massage and facial at the same time she was going from my feet to then rubbing my face. I thought that was very weird and gross. So idk if I broke out because of her going from my feet to face or the products. I think if I ever book again it would only be for a massage because she did have a nice touch and all around nice lady.

She is an extremely talented brow artist and an absolute sweetheart! I've been getting my full face, brows, and underarms waxed for almost 6 years now. For the past 9 months I've been looking for a new esthetician. I have rosacea, my skin is extremely sensitive, and prone to ingrown hair. I only see practitioners that use hard wax because my skin is far less reactive to it. It's been tough finding someone who uses hard wax and is a talented brow artist. When I stumbled upon Necesse Aesthetics page on Instagram, I knew that I had to schedule an appointment. The photos and videos of Vanessa's work grabbed my attention immediately! Upon further investigation, I discovered she uses hard wax, and not just any hard wax, Nova hard wax. Nova wax is the gentlest hard wax I've ever experienced. So I booked that appointment, and I was not disappointed in the least. Vanessa provides an amazing, virtually painless, waxing experience. She makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. Her bed is cozy and well padded, with a knee/leg bolster if needed. Vanessa pays close attention to details and listens to what you want in terms of brow shaping and color(if you have tinting done). She goes above and beyond to ensure that she is giving you the shape you want. Her keen eye and attention to detail will have your brows looking snatched in no time! Another important detail to mention is that Vanessa provides great aftercare to reduce irritation and reactivity risk. As someone who has a history of highly reactive skin, you wouldn't be able to tell I had waxing done immediately after. So if reactivity is a concern for you, Vanessa might just be the practitioner for you! If you have sensitive skin, are looking for a fantastic brow artist, or just plain don't like waxing because of the pain, you need to book that appointment with Vanessa ASAP!! She will take the best care of you and give you an amazing set of brows!
