I just had my second appointment with Vanessa this past weekend. I had a full face wax, signature brows with tint/stain and underarm waxing. She is an extremely talented brow artist and an absolute sweetheart! I've been getting my full face, brows, and underarms waxed for almost 6 years now. For the past 9 months I've been looking for a new esthetician. I have rosacea, my skin is extremely sensitive, and prone to ingrown hair. I only see practitioners that use hard wax because my skin is far less reactive to it. It's been tough finding someone who uses hard wax and is a talented brow artist. Upon further investigation, I discovered she uses hard wax, and not just any hard wax, Nova hard wax. Nova wax is the gentlest hard wax I've ever experienced. So I booked that appointment, and I was not disappointed in the least. Vanessa provides an amazing, virtually painless, waxing experience. She makes you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. Her bed is cozy and well padded, with a knee/leg bolster if needed. Vanessa pays close attention to details and listens to what you want in terms of brow shaping and color(if you have tinting done). She goes above and beyond to ensure that she is giving you the shape you want. Her keen eye and attention to detail will have your brows looking snatched in no time! Another important detail to mention is that Vanessa provides great aftercare to reduce irritation and reactivity risk. As someone who has a history of highly reactive skin, you wouldn't be able to tell I had waxing done immediately after. So if reactivity is a concern for you, Vanessa might just be the practitioner for you! before I started going to Vanessa, my eyebrows would never grow fully. I started coming around. I believe March of this year. I have seen a huge transformation since. I booked an eyebrow wax + tint at Necesse Aesthetics after being impressed with the photos and reviews. I have fine brows and prefer a fuller brow with even trimming. Many of the places I've tried over wax, rush the process, or don't have an eye for detail, and based on the reviews, it looked like Vanessa was the opposite. How true! Reviews and photos do not do Vanessa justice. She is so skilled, precise, and totally gets it. This was my first time coming to Vanessa. I had been letting my eyebrows grow for a few months and went with the brow rehab service she offers for shaping. It's always nerve wrecking seeing someone new because I am very particular with my eyebrows. I asked Vanessa to please shape them but leave them thick and she DELIVERED.
