Couldn't get in with my original spa so I tried this place. I booked a package and got a facial and massage but wasn't aware it 30 minutes each so only a hour for my services. My spas packages are usually a hour each service so I should have ask ahead of time. The bathroom and waiting area is outdated and not an actually lounge area to get ready for your services like other spas it's just a big room with some chairs to fill out the 100 questioned paperwork and the bathroom had items stored in the shower area and was very dusty. My real issue was with my facial, I did tell her I have sensitive acne prone skin and she said she was using products for sensitive skin but I did break out after, and while I was have my massage and facial at the same time she was going from my feet to then rubbing my face. I thought that was very weird and gross. So idk if I broke out because of her going from my feet to face or the products. I think if I ever book again it would only be for a massage because she did have a nice touch and all around nice lady. read more

Such an amazing gem I'm so glad I found. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you, it is an oasis of relaxation inside. I can't speak for the services myself, but I purchased a spa/facial package for my fiancé and worked with Jennifer the owner. The purchase itself went perfectly and I found the prices very reasonable for the level of service received. My fiancé absolutely loved it and told me it was one of the most relaxing experiences she's had. I cannot recommend them enough, you definitely owe it to yourself. read more

I would give five starts but it's hard to book when I need care. The service and ambiance is 10/10!

Booked a deep tissue massage with Jennifer on a whim and was thoroughly impressed with my entire experience! She was extremely welcoming and so knowledgeable in her profession. She explained the tools she was going to use before we got started and would check in during to make sure I was still comfortable and that the pressure was okay. Afterward I had expressed that I want to see about coming regularly and what she would recommend. She was super awesome in recommending things I could do at home to help my body continue to recover and when to come back! Again super relaxing time, and I plan on recommending The Spa Room to others!! read more

I can't say enough good things about The Spa Room! It's hard finding a massage place that has the right relaxing vibe when you walk in, but they nailed it! From the moment I walked in I felt relaxed. Ruby did my massage, and she was absolutely amazing. I've been getting massages for 15+ years and it was by far the best massage I've ever gotten! She payed attention to the areas I indicated were causing me trouble, and used the perfect amount of pressure mixed with some assisted stretching, and it was amazing! I will definitely be coming back! read more

It's been a couple of years since our last massage. I could feel the knots in my shoulders worsening with each stressful day. They had gotten so sore in the last couple of days. I made my appointment by texting their business number, within minutes. Romela, my masseuse texted me a reminder of my appt. Note, there's the usual 2-day intake form so arrive a little early to get that squared away. Romela was able to customize my massage based on the completed form - combination of deep tissue and lymphatic. She was really strong and applied a lot of pressure, like I had requested. There must be a massage oil warmer used. I appreciated the steamed towels used - for the back before the massage started, for my feet to clean them, and one to wipe down the massage oil. There was also a lavender self-heating eye mask applied when you flip over. The entire experience was very spa-like. I will be scheduling routine massages with Romela. She is fantastic. read more

I love the massage I got here. I have gone to some of the best spas in the country and the therapist I saw meets that level of expertise. She got took the time to get our nots I didn't know Ben know I had. She knew I had thoracic outlet syndrome without me telling her and was able to help with that I think her name starts with an L.. Lisa or Linda I'm terrible with names but she is awesome. I've gone twice now and same quality each time. read more

I've never gotten a massage before and I was nervous to go in. Aura was so welcoming and kind right when I walked in. She explained all of the steps behind the massage and what they did. She identified that I had a ton of knots, explains all my back pain lol. I booked the wrong service and she still went above and beyond to help alleviate my pain. Overall an incredibly calming and relaxing massage, great atmosphere, quiet and soothing. An amazing first experience, I can't wait to go back. read more

I just had the cellulite cavitation . Wow! I work out all the time. As we all know that cellulite is hard to get rid off no matter how much we try. I felt a little lost sensitivity but that is bc she really worked to get the lumps. I could feel the bumpiness, especially the right side. I know I will need more but after one treatment, I can definitely see the difference. read more

Went for a couples massage a few weeks ago and we were extremely impressed with not only the professionalism but the quality skillset that these women have. My boyfriend and I have gotten massages all around the world, yet this place - in small town Manteca - happened to be where we received the best massages of our lives! I really loved how gentle and thoughtful my lady was with me (forgot her name) and my bf was so glad to get Jennifer because she knew all the spots that needed healing and was very firm. We enjoyed it so much that we booked another one in February. For newcomers- Inside: tasteful decor, dim lighting, soothing water fountain Cleanliness: everything was spotless & new looking, they had thorough protocols Payment: this was very straightforward & seamless read more

Awesome service!!! I received a massage from Candice and she did an excellent job. Will definitely be returning.

I had text to ask if they had any availability in the day she said that they were booked for the week and told me I go to a different spa place in Manteca. She didn't even ask if I wanted to book for another week or anything like that. I've been going to The Spa Room for two years. I was very disappointed that I've gone to other places but this place I really enjoyed and I always wanted to keep going back to, but I was just upset by the response that I got read more

A couple of months ago, I saw SHAWN at a different establishment. There, he was absolutely phenomenal. He has since moved here to "The Spa Room", so I wanted my review of him to follow him along, so you would know where to find him. I felt like I found my massage soulmate. 5 stars. Would 100% recommend. Felt like my body was seen and heard, even though it was my first time with him. He has a well honed intuitive sense, and superb tactile and kinesthetic knowledge of human physiology. We dealt with very current things resulting from an accident, as well as long-term issues. I felt like a new person. I felt like he helped give me my life back. So appreciated! Thank you, Shawn!‍ read more

Staffs are really nice . I love everything. The place the people , and how they do massage . Very relaxing

Had the pleasure of having Candice as a masseuse. Great deep tissue massage. She was able to identify knots on my shoulders and lowers back and worked them out the best she can due to some were so resistant. Need to make sure you arrive 5-10 min before your appt to fill out paper work. So you can receive the full 90 min massage. lol.. read more

Finally brave enough to schedule an appointment for a professional massage. As a caregiver to a love one, my body goes through a lot of wear and tear and in this particular day I really needed some tension released. I'm so glad I made the call with The Spa Room. It has been years since my last professional massage and I was concern about having the massage therapist see the wear and tear on my body. BUT I was pleasantly thrilled that Irene, the massage therapist, treated me professionally and she was wonderful! Needless to say, after my session, it was really hard for me to get up and get dressed, I WAS SO RELAXED! If you are looking for a beautiful massage facility and awesome massage therapists, I highly recommend The Spa Room. Added bonus, ask for Irene! read more

Oh. My. God!! Hands of magic, I tell ya! I sit at a desk for pretty much the whole day (in class and doing homework) so my neck and shoulders are always tight. Just had a facial by Kaitlynn, and i 100% recommend! She explains what she's doing to your skin and why you need it. Kaitlynn recommends product that you can use, drug store and high end. I originally cane to her because I recently switch to a new medication cause a few breakouts, that i was super insecure about. I felt very comfortable with Kaitlynn and felt she did a very good job, my skin has never felt softer/healthier. She's a must try, you'll be hooked! read more
