I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. If I could give 0 stars then I would... my nail broke after 3 days-under normal daily activity. And I spent $145 at this place - $75 for my hands and $70 for my pedi. When I contacted them about it, instead of standing behind their work, I was met with excuses. I was told it was because my nails were "too long," and it was said in a dismissive tone with laughter, which I found very unprofessional. The owner then tried to argue that it had been "a week," as if that would somehow make it acceptable. I had to correct her and explain that it had only been three days. I also explained that I was out of town and didn't have time to come back to fix work that should have lasted longer than a few days. I was then told also by the owner that I was "paying for the design," as if the durability of the nails doesn't matter. No -- I am paying for the full service: the nails, the design, the quality, and for them to last. This service is expensive, and durability is part of what clients are paying for. The overall response felt defensive and dismissive, and based on how quickly they had explanations ready, it honestly seems like this may not be the first time they've received this kind of feedback. Instead of accountability, there was defensiveness and blame. Quality work and respectful customer service go hand in hand, and unfortunately, I experienced neither. I even asked when I arrived at the salon, they looked at my nails and they said yes, they can use their hybrid gel. I was debating going back to the salon I previously got my nails done at but wanted to come to them because I've been once before and had a good experience. This time, it wasn't until they had already drilled down all my polish that they told me they can't do it because of lifting and have to do a full set. I understood what they were saying but I wish I would have known this before because I would have just went to where I previously got them done and paid for a fill. My nail tech was on vacation for a month usually I go to Stockton but wanted to take my mom to get her nails done. I went to get a color change as I had just had my nails filled the week before but needed to change the color for pictures. My mother got a full set. My nail tech was sweet but you can tell she probably only did pedis by how uncomfortable she looked. I figured it was just a color change so it was fine. My nails are nothing but lumps not one is smooth. They were filed super thin and I asked to not file down anymore since she was taking off all of the acrylic, the color was already off. She attempted to straightened the shape but unfortunately changed the shape on the sides and now they are super flat and all pointing upward. I have clear coat on over the red but my sides were not covered and the color was still tacky to the touch, kind of sticky still and I didn't notice until I went home because once I was done, I got distracted by the fact the guy said $30 for a color change. I asked why so much he said because my nails were long but I was there for a color change last time my tech was out of town in the end of August and it was $25. my nails are always the same length, I am very consistent with my nails and I have expectations. I do not mind paying for quality. I check my mother's nails because she keeps picking something off her skin quietly and she said the woman used her nails to push my mom's side wall down and did it so hard that it sliced her skin open. she pulled away and then the woman put something on her skin from her drawer and brushed it with the monomer after. she asked what that was and she said super glue. she put super glue on an open cut and then put the same brush in the liquid and kept doing her nails. at that point my mom was visily upset. she didnt want to leave with half done nails so she let her finnish, just asked her to please be easy not so rough. i was upset and told the guy that the quality was not there he showed me a price book like that has anything to do with thr QUALITY. They are thick to the tip nails and she asked multiple times to be thinned out. The nail tech did what she wanted. I am so disappointed in the customer service and quality. My mother's set was $45 for very short sloppy shaped, half square half round, sloppy nail color with a super glued cut. The picture looks like a little slice but it is a piece of my mother's skin that was ripped upwards and now glued down. Not sanitary. i wish i got a picture before she peeled off the glue, these were taken after. you can see in the pictures the color doesn't even go to the cuticle, it stops. They do not strive for quality just quantity. The care about how many people come in and out of the door and it was clear. Obviously, we will not be back. Not a surprise. If you are looking for quality go to Loan at Dilas Nails in Stockton. read more

I visit Divine Nails & Spa every 14 days. My nail tech is Nancy. she's so great at what she does and have all the patience in the world. She always welcome you with a Smile even though she's wearing a face mask you can tell she's giving you a smile. I also go here for eye brow waxing with Nancy also. Some times I spent a lot of hours in this salon because the nail designs I get require of a Maximum of 4 hrs includinga pedicure. Also Mandy who has done nails for my friend does a great job. My friend never had her nails done before and Mandy did them and she was happy with the work. She made her feel comfortable at all times. Lynn has also done pedicure and nails for a friend, she is also great. Every time I come here I walk out happy I would recommend this Nail salon to everyone who wants to relax. This is the place! I've been coming to this place since I moved to Lathrop from the Bay Area. I've always done gel manicure/pedicure. Sometimes they get the job done well and sometimes sloppy but it was still ok. Yesterday I had the worse manicure ever. I didn't get the gel because I wanted my nails to take a break. I was charged $5 to remove the gel which is fine with me but as soon I got home I noticed what a sloppy job the lady did. This morning all my polish is peeling and I got this for an event tomorrow. I will never go back here. When I pay a higher price I want a job well done. Reply to the owner: regular polish doesn't peel off in 12 hours. Plus the cleaning was NOT done well either. Yes you fixed one nail that I ruined to get money out of my purse but still this doesn't justify the sloppy job that was done. I waited more than 29 mins for the nails to dry and that one you fixed is va use I told your tech to redo it since it was messed up to begin with. Come on don't you see the pictures? The pedicure comparatively I was super disappointed because I had a 4:15 appointment, they sat me in a pedicure ( which nails salon use as a tactic to keep you from leaving and pretend like they are about to start on you.) however the technician didn't start until about 4:35 pm and she was literally rushing through the whole thing. Massaged my legs for like 20 seconds each leg- trimmed my nails, filed them and painted them all within 20 minutes. Great on the efficiency but terrible because I came to relax and now probably won't come back here as a result. For $32 this was not worth it- it's basically $32 for a polish change! I've had my hand nails done here and the girls have done well but this pedicure was NOT worth it. The other place I go to gives me hot stones and towels with a proper massage for $35! read more

I've been a client of the owner (Elaine) for over 20 years. I can truly say she's a friend. She and her husband (Quang) are amazing and they have one of the most compliant spas in the area. In reading a recent post, I can't support the false generic allegations (that border defamation). One thing I can say is that I am very meticulous about my nails and the way they look. Elaine never has disappointed. Even if she would have, one thing I give her is if you're not satisfied and you speak up then, she ensures everyone is afforded the same opportunity to experience the ultimate in customer satisfaction. If they don't, chances are it's rarely the fault of the staff. The pedicures are equally enjoyable and the same level of care is required. The prices are the same for everyone who patronizes the establishment and they are indicative of the quality of care and experience. Actually, the prices are much cheaper than many other upscale salons. But of course, I spare no expense on my self care and having beautiful nails. Been here a few times now and there was only one time I was disappointed. The person I had an appointment with had changed his schedule so I was seen by someone else. My nails were uneven and just didn't look right. They also lifted after 2 weeks which was a first for me. I didn't catch her name which I wish I did. I've been coming here for about two years since moving here. I didn't really have a bad experience until today. My nail person was Rosa, according to the guy owner. She is very unprofessional. She took super long, cutting my nails and reshaping them because she would pause to whisper stuff next to the nail person. It's OK; you can gossip, but keep working on my nails. Also, I kept pointing out to her that some air bubbles were on my nails, and she gave me an attitude. I honestly don't know if I'll be returning to this place. I might look at other nail places after this incident. I paid $48 + tips for some crappy-looking nails. I'm not very happy about it. She rushed through my pedicure and told me it was extra to scrub the bottom of my feet. I know some feet treatments cost extra but everywhere I have been they scrub your feet at no charge so I was shocked. Then she gave me attitude for not wanting to pay the extra amount. Lastly when I told her I wanted pink french tip with clear pink base she was confused so I tried explaining to her and then she shouts out "I KNOW HOW TO DO MY JOB" at this point I am very annoyed and ready to leave. I so very much appreciate how much the salon has done to protect themselves and their customers with the setup. Having lots of plexiglass and clear shower curtains between pedicure chairs. My bestie and I went together and we both noticed while getting our pedicures that actually now, with the division, you can smell the scent of whatever is being applied during your pedicure and it actually helps you relax more! The staff Clorox cleans everything after a customer leaves, every time. Very reassuring and they have notices up all over the places to keep your mask on at all times and that they prefer electronic payments as well. They are doing a great job being sanitary! Worst customer service ever went in for a polish change remove dip polish, and put on gel polish with a manicure. What I got was a manicure that consist of cold water, no push back or cuticles removed, and then putting on water down gel polish, they put too much Acetone remover in the polish. It started peeling as soon as I got home and I tried to braid my hair. It started coming off. Crazy went back they removed it but I will never go there again. I am so glad my sister told me about Divine. My husband and I got the full pedicure treatment and it was excellent. They advertise that it takes 60 minutes and they took their time. I should back up and tell you that we were temperature checked and asked to sanitize when we came in with our masks. They have taken 100%precautions and I felt very comfortable.
