Ok, last time I was here I was charged $20 for a hair cut. The price went up to $23. I asked for a line up and that went up to $25. I normally go to salons in Stockton and the barbers there charges me $13 and does the exact same job Lathrop Beauty does. Don't get me wrong, they do a good job and are very friendly but the prices turns me off. The salon doesn't even turn on their air conditioning for the customers on a hot day or even an inviting interior. Most salons in Lathrop charges a grip for a basic haircut and that's not right. read more

My son had his first birthday haircut here, and we've been coming ever since. The two ladies who run the salon are fantastic--professional, patient, and always deliver top-notch service. The salon opens at 9:30, and they operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so you'll need to write your name on the list when you arrive. I recommend getting there early to avoid long waits, as there are only two hair techs, and their thoroughness sometimes means you'll need to wait a bit longer--but it's always worth it! They are the best hair stylist when it come to toddlers. Perfect hair cut each and every time. My son has had a few trips there already- age 3 and us girls too. My husband not so patient. Planning to go there again this Friday. So, I got to sneak out there with the kids. Hopefully we can beat the crowd. Yet, the wait is worth it because you'll not be disappointed. Well you get what you pay for... the hair stylists need to update their "style" for women's haircuts and definitely need to update their tools.. the shears they use are super dull and cheap. The girls working there are nice but not professional. I was very specific about what I wanted done to my hair and they butchered my hair so bad I wanted to cry. The wait is extremely long. I wouldn't mind waiting if the service would be worth the wait but unfortunately its not. Oh and they make up prices on the spot as they please. Not going back there again read more

This is just a review based on my personal care. I have thick wavy asian hair so I would never recommend going here if you do as well. On her service, she was nice, generally speaking, and did try to make small talk. So I'll give her that. However, I don't think she knew how to handle my hair very well. I have thick, wavy asian hair which is hard to manage. I asked to keep my hair length and style, only that she clip off the dead ends. I knew once she pulled out that water spray bottle...I realized, this probably wasn't going to end well. I ended up with wet hair and choppy layers that did not match the style I had before. Most salons I go to would be willing to blow dry or straighten my hair for an extra cost. But I guess she was more concerned with meeting the needs of her other clients who were waiting for their turn. I'm sorry she seems like a nice lady but her working on hair like mines is definitely not her forte. I'll stick to my salon back in the bay. read more

My 6 year old and my husband have both been coming here for over a year and neither of them have had a bad experience! The wait time is usually long but that's because they take their time with each client and they do a great job. The wait is definitely worth it and you can't beat the prices. I used to go to this one Salon in Manteca but since hair lady quit, I started coming here. It's closer to my house and every time I need a quick eyebrow fix I come here. garbage, absolutely terrible. the barber was clueless and did not pay attention to what i told her at all. i asked for her to make it a little long and not cut that much off. yet she cut off 2x that. ive been crying ever since i got there because of that lousy shit. I took my 1 1/2 year old son here twice. & have gotten a hair cut by both the girls there. They both did amazing!! Not only was the hair cut great, but the way they kept my son entertained, and still (which is hard to do with a toddler) the first time he cried a little bit but she spritz him with a little water and made him laugh & he was happy the whole rest of the hair cut! Kim and sister were the only hairstylist/cutter but they managed to take care of all their customers' hair needs. Kim colored and highlighted my hair and I was fully satisfied with how she did it. Kim was efficient and made sure to give me a great experience the first time I went to their salon. They were both friendly and pleasant.
