I came to this salon for about a year to have my nails done. The last 2 times were so awful, I won't ever return or recommend them. The second to last time, the nail lady was arguing with other employees and the nail drill left my hands with too many nicks. The last time, I asked for my acrylics to be removed and replaced with gel. The lady started using a fake nail to rip them off, after I asked her to find an alternative method, she continued, and ripped my nail off, leaving my finger all bloody. Then decided to do an acetone soak. She then charged me the full service, no apology just saying my nail was the problem. read more

Ever since the new owner took over this salon, the service has been horrible and expensive. I went in two days ago to get a mani/pedi and the owner was very rude to my friend who went with me by yelling out to her while she was waiting for the seat "HEY YOU COME HERE". My friend only wanted a full set but they would not understand this and told her she had to get gel which would cost more. I love this place. It is clean and the nail techs are really nice. Their prices are competitive. You may be able to find a cheaper place, but the cleanliness and quality won't be up to snuff. You do need to have cash for a tip, they won't add it onto the credit card charge. read more

The inconsideration of relaxing while getting a pedicure is ridiculous. Mid pedicure, had a lady come to remove my shellac. She turned off my massage chair and would not not allow me to enjoy my pedicure. I asked her 3 times if we could do it after my pedicure so I could enjoy it and she said no and continue to proceed. I was so angry and made a comment about it. The guy doing my pedicure though was awesome! Cracked jokes and accommodated to my needs. Will I be coming back? I've been twice and won't be going back. I had a gel manicure that was pretty good but overpriced for $32. I got the deluxe pedicure yesterday for $46. Again, too expensive for this town. Manicures and pedicures run $20-$32 where i used to live (Vacaville). My pedicure chipped twice already and it's only been 1 day. For $46 I would expect it to last more than 1 day. Also, you must tip cash, they don't have that option if you pay with a card, which doesn't seem right to me bc not everyone always has cash on them. read more

I would go to a younger girl and we would just have a blast she would listen to me and what I wanted her mom was really nice too and I always left happy even tho the prices are kind of high it was worth it to me because she did a good job. I wasn't really getting my nails done for a while because I couldn't afford it but recently when I did I hated the place now. I walked in and everyone was like scattered and when they seen me i was fresh bait in a pool of sharks thats the only was I can described how they looked at me. I asked if the girl or her mom was there they said no they no longer worked there I said okay I was a little iffy but he tried to re-asure me. They were closing in about 2 hours and I just thought I would come back but no he was very pushie so I said okay.. He set me up with this girl and I told her off the bat that I was picky and that I knew what I wanted I want a Halloween theme ummm no they couldnt do what I wanted I finally choose a style. She made no conversation with me I had nothing to watch because he turned all the tvs off, which I thought was rude like ya i might be the only one in there but still can I get the same service as everyone else. The worst full set I've ever had !!! Nails were not shaped properly or filed right many of them at slants. They were left so thick I couldn't believe it ! Not to mention they left gel paint everywhere. I went here because it was convenient for me at the time my daughter has her nails painted with gel not even a manicure and my bill was $70.00 for a gel set (that was the worst ) and my daughters paint job. I don't mind paying a little extra but usually that is followed with quality not the complete opposite went today and had them fixed at la belle. So I have to say I am very sad about this review. I loved queen bee and have been coming here off and on for years (wanna say at least 6-7 years) they have never done me wrong. But this last time I was in I have to say alot has changed so I came in for a gel manicure and a pedicure I let them upsell everything and left a hefty tip, and I left happy with gorgeous nail and toes even if they rushed me out without letting my feet soak as much as I would have liked. But within 48 hours 3 of my fingers started to peel all the way down to the acrylic powder which wasn't even set under the gel polish. They were in such a rush or they just watered down their solutions to the point that it wasnt even able to set. Very disappointed, at least my toes still look nice and they were very polite. Problem is though that I am a server that works seven days a week and cant go to work with nails that look that they are gonna melt into your food. So I will be going somewhere else for an emergency nail fix. read more

Omg they rip you off! So 8 days ago I did a deluxe spa pedicure for $46 and they finished within 15 min!!! My gel manicure which costed me $35 lol it looks like a child did my nails. Saturday afternoon I went to get a French Manicure & Pedicure. I paid $48.00 for this service and a $10.00 tip to the lady (Rose was her name). By that evening some of the White tips on my nails had already peeled off. The next morning after my shower I noticed that the "Clear polish on my nails was cracked and peeling. I went back to the salon and showed them what happened. I asked Rose and the owner if she would redo my nails as they were unacceptable . They spoke back and forth to each other in their native language which in my opinion is very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable . Rose proceeded to try and repaint just the White tips. I told her that that is not going to fix the problem this needs to be redone.She looked at me as if I was stupid and a waste of her time so I pulled my hands back from her, stood up and said you have just lost a good customer and I walked out the door. I was so mad. The eye lashes were falling out in clumps in 2 days, and I went back to have them fixed only for them to fall out 3 days later, my lashes look like a PLUCKED CHICKEN, such a horrible experience. This was only my second visit to this nail spot and it will be my last. The first time I got an infection/ingrown toe nail after going to this place (and it's never gone away). And the second time they were so rude to my mother and I. We both got the $35 mani/pedi combo because it was affordable to us and from the moment we said that was our choice, the attitudes began. Starting with the owner. (If you don't want people picking the economy choice then take it off the menu!) Anyway, both ladies rushed through our mani/pedis. I never got their names. My lady did a shoddy paint job on my hands and feet and clipped my nails crooked. My mom had to use the restroom after getting her mani and accidentally messed up one nail and they got mad at her. At first, being a guy, I was put off by the whole idea, but I needed to have my nails trimmed and she wouldn't do it unless I had the pedicure to clean up the nails first. I tried it and the foot massage and hot oil bath were wonderful for my sore feet! I didn't go for nail polish but everything else was terrific! My friend had her nails done at another place, not sure where, but she had them done for graduation and they were beautiful. She needed them taken off asap because they were growing out, but she didn't want acrylics anymore due to her job. So we called Queen Bee, they said they'd take them off for $10. We get there, fully expecting them to sand them down and take them off the right way. No. Not a chance. Not even close. We waited for 30 minutes. There were 2 other customers there, and there were workers just laying around. Once someone finally called us back, the lady was rude as hell, slamming things and groaning and moaning as if we were bothering her or distracting her. She grabbed a pair of pliers and ripped her acrylics off. She cracked the acrylic, ripped them off, my friend was basically in tears and kept pulling away and the lady got mad and was yelling and screaming at her. Apparently it was so offensive to the worker that my friend was in extreme pain. The worker then stopped after like 4 fingers. Some other guy came and finished the job but did the same exact thing and was more forceful. They ended up charging her $20, not $10. She left with bleeding fingers and her natural nails were tore up. I'm not one to leave reviews at all, especially bad ones, but this was so bad that I had to let others know. Started going here a year ago. While in the beginning I was satisfied with their work... As time went on they got sloppy. The last three (yes three, I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) times the pedicure was sloppy. Nails looked bad after a week. And I paid extra for the gel color. Each time I would tell the owner and he would say that they would do better this time. But it didn't happen. So glad we have yelp.. I looked for a new place and based on current reviews found Jo nails. Wonderful job at a decent price ($15 less for the same service) but my hands and toes look and feel wonderful. I will never be back to Queen Bee. So glad I can give my loyalty to a business that deserves it. read more
