This is my 3rd review that they keep taking down. They are reusing the paraffin wax that they use on your pedicures. I am not happy with my services that I've been receiving here. I've been coming here since the previous owner had it when the new owners took over they remodeled it and made it look really nice. However we're using Paraffin wax to save money is diabolical. Update. After posting my second review that they had taken down, they contacted me and let me know that they no longer. Are we using the paraffin wax and wanted me to delete my review. I'm not deleting my review and I will keep reposting this as many times as I need to until Yelp stops deleting it because I'm speaking from my own personal experience dealing with this establishment I told the Shop I would update it to state that they said they are no longer reusing the paraffin wax. I've lived in Tracy a long time but had never been to this nail place. Well, the day finally came and I needed a pedicure really bad. I decided to try Amazing Nails & Spa. Walking in, I was greeted kindly and offered a soda, water, and candies. Wow! Very considerate. The atmosphere was upbeat and comfortable. They told me I'd wait about 15 minutes and sat me at a pedicure station while I picked a color and sipped my water. About 10 minutes later, I was offered another refreshment. Ok, sure. These little candies were good! My nail tech Debi was great and she handled my feet with care. I didn't feel pressured to add services at all. Being that I came in at the last hour of business, I was concerned about having enough time for what I wanted but Debi worked fast and efficiently. Upon paying, I was already feeling satisfied about my experience, but as I walked away, she said wait! Here's a gift for you. I was shocked. A full size lotion! I've been in and out of nail salons for the past 28 years and have never been given anything as a token of appreciation. I thought it was a nice touch. The salon is always clean and comfortable with relaxing music playing. My appointment was at 6:45pm and they closed at 7:30. My service was not rushed and we left at 8:30pm. Cannot recommend enough!! Instead of going to the gym, we decided to be spontaneous and get pedicures instead. I walked in to see if they could take all three of us and they were available. The ladies were very friendly and they did a good job with our pedicures although the massage part could've been better. I observed that they are compliant with their hygienic practices, as the tools were freshly opened from their sanitary packaging right in front of us, and all surfaces were spotless. Towards the end I asked to add a service (eyebrow wax) and this is something that I usually do myself because of bad past experiences, but I was quite impressed by Lisa's skills. I have a very strong brow ridge and some of my eyebrows grow out in odd directions due to a scar and she had no trouble at all navigating all of that and leaving me with a shape that was very flattering to my face. I observed the way she pulled the wax strip opposite of the direction of growth, and in my experience that usually leads to bumps at the follicles, so that was my only concern. read more

I got my wedding nails done here by Lisa and she did a fantastic job! I came in as a walk in and they accepted me right away. I asked for French tips since I just wanted to keep things simple and elegant for my big day. Lisa did a great job with making sure that all the nails were the same length. Hanna did my pedicure and was very sweet to talk to as she seemed genuinely interested in wedding details and even remembered me when I returned to get the acrylics off my fingernails. Unfortunately, I had a rough time here getting the acrylics off. I don't remember her name but the person who removed them was hurting my nails. She was soaking off my nails with acetone and then used an e-file, which is where the pain began. I had to pull my hands away a couple of times when it got overbearing and it felt like my nails were burning at times. I do appreciate how clean this salon is and the kindness of the staff. Hopefully, their process for removing acrylics improves! read more

I came as a walk-in on Friday, 1/30/26, around 2pm, and was seated instantly by my nail tech, Emmy. I explained that I wanted to remove my builder gel and keep the gel with the design from the inspo pic, as shown. Emmy did a good process in the beginning but as soon as design hit, I was skeptical. The first coat was a red that she added a matte coat on and then took out what appeared to be an eye shadow palette but for nails. She then started to layer the nail only in the middle with a pink shadow color and smudge it in a small circular motion.... I kept insisting that the red would be more as a border than the whole color. Ultimately, I asked if she could verify if the picture shown matches or not. I was left with what I walked out with due to me seeing her try her best and appearing frustrated. Saturday, 1/31/26: My thumb is now chipped. I immediately walked into Amazing Nails, checked in, and was greeted by Emmy to fix the chip. Same process. Now, Sunday 2/1/26 at 8pm: the same thumb is chipped. Either it's a bad nail polish or I'm not sure. I was already feeling underwhelmed by the design and painting but not getting a chip after it got fixed is concerning. This gel manicure itself cost $61 plus tip. Even though, when seated I was told it would be $55 (including the design). Definitely not happy or worth it. Keep in mind, I am not rough with my hands as I did absolutely nothing this weekend besides relax on my couch and catch up on my shows. read more

I really enjoyed coming here. We had reservations for 3 people. Although they were super busy, we only waited a little time past our reservation. The staff was nice and friendly. They offered drinks, water, soda, juice or champagne. We got their amazing nail pedicure. Very luxurious and definitely different than a lot of places in what they offer. It was a very nice and relaxing spa treatment. They even gave us heated eye masks. They take cash, no credit cards, but they do have an ATM available inside. There's plenty of parking space. Made an appointment for my mom for a Classic Pedicure. The person who I spoke to was friendly and confirmed it was $35. My mom's appointment was with Hannah. She is friendly and kind. A nice male employee offered my mom a soda or water and also candy. I was sitting waiting for my mom and he offered me the same which was it expected at all, so a nice surprise. My best friend took me here. We went here for her birthday. She's a regular we got the August special at $75 so be ready to spend an hour and a half in that chair, but it was worth every penny she fell asleep at least twice. My nails had gotten done and was not a very good job but another place so it was about a week old. She offered to just shave off the top and put on a topcoat and my nails are fantastic ever since then. She was kind carrying a considerate 101 bucks but worth every penny. read more

I originally went in for a pedicure but because of how great the service was, I ended up doing a full set & eyebrow waxing as well. I debated writing this review but after today's service I will no longer be a customer to this business. I have been going to this nail salon for the past 4years and even stayed loyal after they sold it last year. The remodeling inside looks great. But the quality of service has gone down tremendously. What is listed on the menu and what you pay for is NOT the service you get. The tech that did my manicure the last 2 visits rushes through her work, left nail polish all over my skin and didn't clean it up even after I brought it up twice when I was paying. Then during my pedicure the chair kept malfunctioning with the tub of water. All the services I paid for in both my manicure and pedicure were not done. The chair kept malfunctioning, tub of water was having issues and they didn't seem to care. This business has really gone down after the old owners sold it. On May 10th I went for a pedicure, the lady hurt my toe so badly it was bleeding. She was laughing and told me next time you come make sure you're drunk so you don't feel the pain, the pain did not go away until now. When I called them they didn't want to give me the manager name so I talked with a different lady and I asked her that I want I need to go to ER. My toe is hurting and I barely can walk. She told me now don't go to ER. You're wasting your time you're gonna be waiting there and there's nothing they can do come back to me. I will take care of you. I do not trust them. They're serving wine and tequila for customers. I don't even know if that is legal to serve alcohol in this kind of place. I definitely will contact some higher level of our authorities to inspect this place. I don't even know if they're even licensed if they know what they're doing I would not recommend anyone or myself to go again there. read more

They take extra caution to make sure the tools stay clean (present them in sterile bags) and that means the world to me since I had a bad experience at another salon a number of years ago. They take their time and make sure you feel like you're getting the spa experience you're looking for. Once, I came in with an entire bridal party and we had only called ahead an hour in advance. lol They made arrangements to accommodate us and still have a great experience. Went in early expecting to get a good pedicure and full set ,but the lady just rushed it when no one was even there to begin with. Nail cutter and everything were already used & was not new. She was also being very rough which made me feel super uncomfortable. On top of that the lady who did my nails kept cutting my skin and felt like she didn't even know what she was doing. She Kept getting annoyed when I told her my nails were uneven. A day later my polish is already coming off my pedicure and I had gotten gel, which is weird because they usually last long. I'm actually a loyal customer to Lisa who is the NEW owner of Amazing Nails. She used to be located at luxury nails by Home Depot but I followed her to her new location because Lisa is GREEAAAT! I always get acrylics and a pedicure. A fill every 2-3 weeks depending how busy I am. My nails have never...I mean NEVER lifted. So when I run my nails through my hair, nothing gets caught. IYKYK. She does my nails exactly how I like them EVERY TIME. I'm actually getting my nails done as I type this with one hand in rotation. Place is not loud. Seems like a lot of the other customers followed her staff to here as well because I do recognize two of the other nail techs.
