I went to Luxury Nail Spa and had a really disappointing experience with Helen. She was rude with an attitude and made the whole appointment uncomfortable. She told me the curved French tip would be $10, but when I said I didn't like the curve, she said "that's the best I can do" and she'd just charge me $7 for a regular one instead. At checkout, she still charged me the full $10 anyway and said she did the curve disregarding what she said before. It's not even about the $3--it's the fact that she said one thing and did another. I came to this salon for a pedicure and a full set of acrylic nails and was extremely disappointed with the quality of service, especially considering I paid approximately $160. The technician performing my pedicure appeared rushed from start to finish and repeatedly asked, "Is that good enough?" rather than taking the time to ensure the service was done properly. During the pedicure, he dropped the foot scrub on the floor, picked it up, shook it off in the water basin where my feet were soaking, and continued using it on my foot. One of my big toenails was also filed noticeably crooked, yet no effort was made to correct it. I was accidentally cut twice during the pedicure. The French lines were all different thickness and not smooth. After getting home and taking a closer look, I noticed acrylic had been applied over my nail beds, there was no cleaning done underneath the nails, and the overall finish was very poor for a pedicure. For my fingers the acrylic technician also seemed rushed throughout the appointment. She did not communicate with me during the service and did not clean up or refine her work. I specifically requested a sharp nail shape, but the final shape was uneven and poorly executed. In addition, the acrylic application itself is very rough. The nails are bumpy, uneven, and not smooth at all. There are visible imperfections throughout the set, and it looks unfinished rather than professionally done. The lack of attention to detail is extremely noticeable. This appointment was for a wedding, and I was so upset by the results that I ended up crying when I saw my nails up close. I have already booked an appointment elsewhere to have them redone. For the price charged, I expected much better attention to detail, professionalism, and hygiene standards. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations, and I would appreciate a refund. read more

Definitely had a mixed experience here. I had made an appointment and when I showed up, the person at the front desk checked me in and got me started with someone for a regular manicure and pedicure. I ended up getting multiple phone calls in a row from the technician I had originally booked with inquiring where I was. When I told her I was there, she was confused as it turns out the person at the front desk just randomly assigned me to someone. Mary, who did my nails, did a good job. She was patient and took her time trimming and painting my nails. Unfortunately, the nail polish cracked within a couple days which was really disappointing. Additionally I had come with my cousin who wanted to get dip nail polish on her hands. She showed the technician a photo of the color she wanted and when they didn't have the color, she kept trying to convince her to go for a color that was really different than what she wanted. When my cousin was requesting that the nail technician fix a nail that wasn't filed properly, she got upset and referred my cousin to another technician. The second technician was a little more patient but at one point commented that "no one was going to look at [her] nails that closely." So overall, Mary was nice, but the rest of the staff seemed quite rude and short. The pricing here is reasonable but I'm not sure if I'd come back here. read more

Came in as a walk in and I got tossed to this middle aged woman that did not clean her space prior to me getting started; I asked for her space to be clean and she started her attitude; ask her if she still wants to do my nails she said yes, so I procceded. I had ask for a simple gel manicure, she did not remove my dip polish and wanting to place a gel on top of it. I was just speechless, so I had ask to just remove the dip polish that I have and left. The place is so unclean and unsanintary, they don't clean there stuff from one customer to the next. This place is using BANNED mma monomer when making acrylic nails. MMA acrylic is banned from nail salons because it's DAMAGING TO THE NATURAL NAIL and TOXIC! I stopped coming here years ago after I tried to soak off the acrylic nails they did and the acrylic turned slimy with a fish smell (signs of MMA). I'm leaving a review now because someone I love got acrylics done from here two months ago and they wont come off no matter how long we soak, she has pain in her nails and she broke off one of her natural nails with the acrylic. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. There's also reviews of people getting there acrylics removed here and it's very painful with bleeding. If you get your nails done here and the acrylic never falls off, it's because they are using banned products. BEWARE!!!! MMA can cause you to lose your natural nail and is TOXIC!!! read more

I Came in and asked for my nails sheer pink gel polish with silver chrome. She made them see through with a different chrome. Came back a few hours later (within the policy window) because I was not happy with how you could see my nails yellow toned. They gave me attitude, laughing at how that is what I asked for. So...After having horrible experiences at several nail salons here i figured Tracy is just cursed and I'll have to continuously go to the Bay for my nail needs. (Especially after Amazing nails made me bleed,infected my thumb and tried blaming it on my pregnancy, check out my review for them). I needed a good pedi and mani before my baby's birth, Thank goodness I met a really nice girl from Bath&body works who referred me to Lisa here at this salon. I have to say she did a great job at fixing what I thought was unfixable. She gave me an amazing pedicure as well. I'm torn. I've come into this salon 3x's now and the 1st and 3rd time my nails were done great. 2nd time, I was not a huge fan of them. It really just does depend on the person you get. This rating is more of a 3.75 star rating. I'm knocking off some because of 1 their prices, for dip manicure and gel pedicure I paid close to $90. When I was getting my manicure done, the gentleman began the dip process and when I inquired about my cuticles and shaping, he said that was "not a part of the dip manicure" and that it would be an additional $5 ... WHAT. I literally do my own cuticles at home in 10 mins or less and a manicure has always included filing and cuticles .. am I wrong? The gentleman was nice enough to remove the $5 charge but did say it was a "one time exception, next time not free" and that was only done because he saw how stunned I was with what they were saying. This spa has a lot of seating and a lot of employees. Come on the right day and you can be seen immediately, just done come on a busy day because they do get PACKED. read more

They greeted us as soon as we walked in and were able to take my daughter right away for a gel manicure. It's the usual nail salon, multiple options, pretty quiet and pretty big space. It was a nice day so the doors were open, which is a welcomed break from the constant AC with the recent heat wave. They have a $1 service fee for debit/ credit, but they have an ATM machine located on site. I just paid the $1 fee versus the ATM fee. The quality was nice and they were patient with my horribly shy teenager who felt bad asking them anything. I'd come back for myself. read more
