Until recently, our experiences were consistently positive. Unfortunately, since the management change, the level of customer service has become unacceptable and declined significantly. I recently spoke directly with the manager Dilai regarding a concern, I expected professionalism, active listening and a willingness to resolve the issue but instead the experience was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening and trying to understand the issue, she repeatedly interrupted and kept repeating the same statements without addressing what I was actually saying. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The conversation was frustrating, dismissive, and completely unproductive. What made the situation even more concerning was that, despite our long history as customers, the staff seemed unfamiliar with us and were asking basic questions about my daughters that should have already been understood in the context of our relationship with the center. The manager Dilai also promised to call me back, but never followed through. A simple follow-up is a basic expectation of customer service, especially when a manager personally commits to it. Failing to do so only reinforced the feeling that customer concerns are no longer valued. The most disappointing part is that this was not a one-time interaction with a front-desk employee, it was my experience with the manager Dilai herself. Leadership sets the standard for customer service, and based on this experience, that standard has fallen dramatically. Loyal customers are the foundation of any successful business. We deserve to be listened to, treated with respect, and have our concerns acknowledged. Sadly, that was not my experience. I sincerely hope ownership takes a closer look at what is happening under the current management because the difference is noticeable, and not in a positive way.

I am only leaving 3 stars because I feel like most of their staff are good at what they do however…read moreI had a poor experience here and definitely will not be returning, and hopefully they take this feedback seriously. I was specifically looking for a salon that had a little kids chair because I was taking my almost 3 year old to get her nails done with me. Wonder nails consistently came up. Pictures online looked fine so we called to see if they could fit us in - they said yes. Showed up and I asked if they by any chance had time to do gel x nails for me rather than a basic gel mani. They hesitated, looking around - one woman offered acrylic I said no thank you I want gel x but if they can't do it I'll do a regular gel mani it's totally fine. They said they could do it and the woman who started doing my nails, basically in my OPINION, did not know what she was doing. I am making an assumption based on my experience and compared to my experiences at other salons - but it seemed like she was just learning gel x and almost as if I was her first customer she'd ever done it on. Here's why: - she cut my skin with the drill multiple times, multiple different nails - the shape and length is different with each nail and even more from hand to hand - on a couple of the nails, the size of the nail she put on was clearly the wrong size and went onto my skin rather than strictly being on my nail bed - I brought up these issues and after a couple times of me requesting she fix it, I realized this lady simply was not going to do a good job and I would be getting them fixed elsewhere. I was with my young daughter and was more infatuated with the experience my daughter was having for her first salon visit and paying attention to her, not to mention I didn't have the time to sit there and have this woman continue to fix mistake after mistake. - the first nail she cut for length, I told her that's too short a little longer and she still continued to cut it at that length. I was visibly annoyed but she continued to cut the rest of them and again - being with my young daughter is unfortunately not a time for me to extend the duration of our time there. If you have kids, you know. This visit wasn't about me this time. - I requested almost shaped, pointy / stiletto, but for some reason she cut the nails square (even tho the gel x nail was already pointed) and filed it down into the pointy almond shape. I have never had anyone else do it this way and given the final shape, clearly this is not the ideal way to do it. They are also all different lengths and different pointedness. My pinky nail she cut first is so terribly ugly and short. But again, I didn't have time to sit there and have her take it off and fix it. However I would have still expected a professional nail artist would offer so that I don't leave the salon with their work looking crazy. Multiple other staff looked at the nails after and tried to say how pretty they were and I'm just confused which leads me to believe I was an experiment for her as her first customer with gel x nails. My fingers all look different, I have cuts on multiple of them from her drill, and when she was done shaping before the polish I had to blatantly tell her to file one of them that was so visibly the wrong size for my nail bed which was crazy to me. Also, the woman who did my pedicure was better however my toes are also sore from her picking at them so much. I will say - my toes were looking crazy going in there but I feel it's their job to know when to stop picking on my cuticles. It hurts to walk now because my big toe is so damn sore. I'm sure the rest of the staff are better. But we will not be returning. Keep an eye on them if you're getting services here. You may have to step in and tell them what to do....

I have to admit she was nice and she let I had my baby with my mom close to me so that was a plus. The place is cute, the chair is a little uncomfortable to be 2 hours. I told her: "please something natural but still curly " she took her time, I felt a little burn in some moment and sometimes I felt she could be a little nicer telling me the instructions... No big deal, still wasn't completely comfortable for me. Knowing I have to pay 175 I was ready to wait whatever I had to for the eyelashes and I said to her : " how long will be" she said 2 hours and in one point she told me because you arrived at 2:30 which wasn't was exactly like that I couldn't find her spot so I called her and I was for a while trying to find her, she went out with her car to see where I was but took me a while because the spot is difficult to see. Anyways we found each other after all, but she trying to say that in the first time ..make me no her client after because I rather to feel more comfortable when someone attend me. She wasn't rude but I think she could handle the situation better. The most important (my eyelashes) at the end I saw them and was like I didn't have anything. The eyelashes looked almost like mine .. was so disappointed. I know I said natural but no until that point that you can't see any difference. She tried to changed it putting me at the end of the eye some eyelashes longer and looked a little better but still I didn't feel happy with the result. Was expensive and no so worth it for me. I put stars because she tried to be nice and because she took a while doing it but I didn't like the result at all and every day when I see them I like less. I've had eyelashes 4 times and this one has been the less I've liked. Has been one week and I have lost a lot of eyelashes. This never happen to me before. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. I sent Jeimi texts clearly explaining…read morethat I wanted brown hair with absolutely NO red/orange tones, which she completely dismissed. I also repeated this in person. While she was applying the color, I mentioned that it looked orange/red and asked if my hair was going to turn that color. She reassured me it wouldn't, but my hair ended up bright red. I was there from 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM, then had to return at 8:00 AM the next morning for her to correct it. Unfortunately, the correction left my hair dark burgundy and still red. I ultimately had to go to Serenity Salon and pay again to have my hair completely corrected. I understand color results can vary, but I repeatedly communicated NO red/orange through text and in person and unfortunately received exactly what I asked to avoid. I lost hours over two days, spent additional money, and had to put my hair through more processing because of this. Very disappointing experience. I went in thinking I was going to have my dream hair for wedding and birthday next month but this was something else. Thank goodness for serenity's professionals. After everything that happened with my hair, I reached out to the salon owner because I felt she should be aware of my experience at her salon. Shortly afterward, the stylist contacted me directly and told me that because she rents there, I needed to deal with her and told me not to "sit there and complain" to the owner. I found this extremely unprofessional and honestly disturbing. As a paying customer, I should be able to contact the owner of the salon where I received my service without receiving a confrontational message afterward. I was simply trying to address my concerns after an already upsetting experience with my hair. The way my complaint was handled made the entire situation even more uncomfortable and disappointing. I was also advised that other stylists were laughing at my situation by another friend that went there mentioning to do voodoo doll on me. Regardless of whether she intended it as a joke, after everything that happened with my hair and the way this situation was handled, I did not find that funny at all. Truly disgusting behavior my hair was completely ruined and I have to wait years to ever touch it again.
