Came here cuz I was in the area and needed a pedi and dip. The pedi was ok but I was expecting more of a foot massage and feet to be wrapped in hot towels and it didn't happen. Then I had s different lady for my dip. OMFG she was SLLLLOOOW! have been here for 2 hours! When it was time to go, the woman that did my toes didn't even bother helping me the toe and the little flippy shoes. Worst and most unsanitary pedicure experience ever. There was no scrub and the lady used a nail file to "exfoliate" my heels. She then put lotion that she MIXED with the dirty water that my feet had been soaking in on my legs and massaged them for about a minute. My feet were dry from soaking in the water and and when I pointed out the areas that were still rough and that she hadn't put any lotion on them, she told me that my feet are like that because I don't get pedicures often enough and it was my fault. I certainly don't have the nicest feet in the world, but I get a pedicure every month and have never had an issue anywhere else. The whole service took 20 mins and she was clearly trying to finish to move on to the lady that came in after me. I've had some bad experiences but this was by far the worst I've ever had. Go to any of the other salons in town that charge the same and follow sanitary guidelines. read more

Not a good experience at all! I was a first-timer there since my usual place doesn't do dip manicures and I really wanted to try something besides my usual No-Chip. I called ahead, priced it out and made an appointment. When I got there, the woman doing my nails (who fully spoke English) barely said two words to me and went about painting my nails. I was a little concerned and then finally asked if she planned to do anything with my cuticles. She said a manicure was separate with dip paint and I needed to ask ahead of time. Honestly, I was pretty disappointed - I'm leaving for a trip the next day and I get about 3 manicures a year, if I'm lucky! The painting was good but a little gloopy under my nails but, seriously?!? Ask what the client wants before just going to work! Also, I had my eyebrows done. She did a good job but it was hard to make myself sit in that disgusting chair and the whole area looked really dirty. Long story short - I won't be going back! Recently switched here after having one of my nails damaged at Professionail located near Walmart on 173 and Deep Lake. I am so happy that I switched to this salon based on the recommendation of my mom. The work was a thousand times better. Of course, this comes with a slightly higher price tag. This salon is awful. Do not go here as they don't respect appointment times ever and rarely take walk ins. When you do make an appointment, you sit for 25 minutes before they even put you in a chair and then you continue to wait. And then in order to get you out of there quickly, they do a quick half-ass job and they look terrible so my advice is save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I made a review before , while i still like the service my eyebrows come out looking nice, but i have to say the cleanliness of the place is lacking and the table that you lay on when they do your eyebrows is broken. When i was laying there i noticed the headrest was wobbly. Then when she was done with my eyebrows handed me a mirror that looks like it had not been cleaned in a while. It was gross to say the least. And then when i got up the head rest completely feel off and she picked it up and placed it on the table as if nothing had happened. I will continue to go because the lady that did my eyebrows did a nice job in them and it is not to expensive but if i find another place that does a good job and cleaner i might be tempted to go there. read more

Please take my warning and do not go here. They reuse the Astone! My nail tech had me soak my fingers in a bowl of Astone to remove my no-chip nail polish. She then ground more polish off with a hand-held grinder and I would than again soak my fingers in the Astone. She repeated this step 3 times. While my hands were under the lights, the nail tech started to clean up. She went over to the pedicure station and poured my dirty Astone ( with nail polish in it) into a bottle of Astone. I was appalled... I asked her if they reused it and she said: "yes, on toes". I repeated myself and said you reuse the Astone on toes? She said: "yes". I told her that was disgusting. I asked her what about an infection? She would not answer me. For this reason, I would NEVER recommend this salon. If they reuse nail polish remover what else are they reusing? I went there as a walk in. I got in right away and I chose a no chip color, it was purple sparkly. Lee did my nails. He was very gentle and fast. When putting on the sparkle polish, he said "that's not good, it's too light." I agreed with him. He asked me if I wanted that color or if I wanted a different color with the sparkle polish over it or if I wanted a different color. This was great because other nail salons I've been to usually just do it without saying anything or if you try to say you want a different color, they try to talk you out of it, but Lee didn't. I am disappointed. Their colors are watered down. The color that I use most of the time had been so watered down that you could barely recognize the gray it normally is and it just looked like a sheer hint of color. Since I asked for 3 coats she didn't give me a top coat. I had a pic of a cute simple chevron pattern. She refused because she thought it was ugly. ( this is what she told me) and suggested a flower instead. I asked for this pattern 3 times and was told I could only have a flower. My nails look awful. I could have done a better job myself. And who cares if the color or design I chose is ugly? I paid $35 for this today. And tomorrow I need another manicure. read more

This is by far the best nail salon in Antioch. The prices are fair and the service is great. I've tried the others in Antioch and they just don't measure up. I see Lee for my gel nails and Mimi for my pedicures. Lee does a great job. He's careful, the nails look great, and when he takes off the fake nails to put on the new ones, it's painless. The pedicures are spectacular. They have amazing spa chairs and they even massage your legs with hot rocks, my favorite part. There standard pedicure is only $25.00 a price you'll be hard pressed to find. read more

I would give this place no stars, if I could. I have been trying to get my nails filled for a WEEK now. I've gone in twice and both times, when I walked in nobody said anything. Then when they finally asked how they could help, I was told they don't have time. This was around 5 pm, they close at 7. Then the two other times I called in the morning to make an appointment. Again, I was told they have no time. So if I can't make an appointment, or walk in..... what am I supposed to do?? And forget asking to talk to a manager, that's a joke. Since we are new to the Antioch my daughter and I were looking for a new nail salon. This was "suppose" to be the best in Antioch so we were told. Ha if this is the best I hate to see the worse. I knew we were in trouble when the clippers were dunked in the water I was soaking my hands in. Sanitation hmmm. I never had a 10 minute manuicure before. In less than 24 hrs every nail we both have is chipped horrbily. Also I think there is something about putting the nail polish on the nails and if it get on the skin take it off with remover, not just swipe at it with your nail and leave residue behiind. No thank you to this place. Until we find a closer place, we'll keep going back to our regular salon 20 miles away. read more

I've been going to Queen Nails for a couple of years and have experiencing the quality of care declining... This morning, I went in for a 9:30 pedicure appointment with Tony. The owner and staff that set the appointment argued with me my appointment is 10:30!!! Really? I don't know my own schedule and what time I set an appointment??? How about, "We have you down for 10:30, but we can take care of you right now!" That would be a novel concept to service a client well!!! I requested to soak, and was told when I sat down the tub would be filled. It wasn't. The owner just sat on her laptop ignoring me when I requested she fill the tub so I could soak while waiting. Two staff just sat ignoring me. I asked 4 times to be taken care of... I have sat and soaked and waited for Tony to finish with another client many times before. don't know what on earth is wrong with the owners and staff at Queen Nails, but they certainly affirmed they discriminate in who they want to do business with. Unfortunate for Tony - he always took good care of me and I liked him. I really don't want or need people in a service industry muttering about me under their breath in Vietnamese either...
