I've been a client here for I believe over a year. I finally found a wonderful technician Lynne. She was always willing to try something new and would just tell me if she couldn't do it. She was very clear and understand understanding what I asked, and we had great communication. She went on maternity leave so I had to figure out other options within the salon. I found Tammy who did a very detailed job. But suddenly refused to do anything outside the basic color "box". We got into a disagreement over this, and she got a little bit extra overdone, so to speak. And the nail service for that time was not good. In fact, I absolutely hated my nails. I decided not to go to her. So I tried the male technician. I believe they're married, but I could be wrong. He does a very detailed and specific job as well. But the communication of what I asked for he was not able to deliver. I believe the issue that they are having in the salon is a communication gap. I think if they listened to what their clients actually want the service and relationship would be far superior than it is. Sadly, I do not plan on coming back. I'm very disappointed with how they view service. read more

I used to be a monthly regular and often brought friends, but I had a bad experience with their male tech doing a full set and then I went back for a pedicure that I booked in advance with a specific tech only to be seen by someone else that did a mediocre job. I specifically asked for Linh and even changed my desired appointment day and time to see her. Unfortunately, they're probably still the best place for a pedicure in Antioch, but their services have gone down hill since they opened. read more

It was my first time going there and my sister booked me her and our mum for 3 full sets and pedicure the male tech did mine he was very rude I asked could he put a little design in he said no we don't do that if you want design go somewhere else so I just got ombré he was very rude started yelling and shouting at my baby and argued with my mom I do not recommend getting nails done there the pedicure was very nice the lady did a good job she was kind but overall I will NEVER return again read more

I absolutely love pampering myself. One way I do this is getting a manicure and a pedicure. I was lucky that last Saturday their was time available. I decided to get a manicure too. My app was just for a pedicure however since there was enough time I asked if I could get my nails done too. The place was very comfortable and had a nice atmosphere. Everyone was positive. I was happy that the pedicure included a brief leg massage with rocks plus a very nice scrub. It was definitely first class service at a very reasonable price. I'll be back again soon. read more

This spot is exactly what I've been looking for. I have so far only gotten a pedicure here but it was great and I am very satisfied with my service. I felt the place was very clean and sanitary. The actual pedicure itself was amazing, they take you into a very calming room with dimmed lighting and soothing music. Also it was pretty good pricing. They had tons of colors, 2 full racks for just regular polish. Although they do take walk ins, they do seem to get very busy so I'd suggest calling ahead. I can't wait to go back, I've been searching for a spot to get pedicures done and this is definitely it. read more

Honestly the best nail salon in Antioch. The employees are usually very kind and friendly! They also have the best selection of colors! However, I had an appointment at 9am and at 9:04 on the phone with the salon I was berated due to being unable to come in. My car wouldn't start and I was prioritizing my car and figuring out how to find a solution for that. I was told that it was my fault they would not get any customers for the hour time slot they set aside for me. The most upsetting thing about this situation is that my appointment was at 9am, and they happen to open at 9am. The man on the phone told me I needed to TEXT them one hour before my appointment to cancel.. who am I going to text? The nail salon opened at my appointment time and I have only seen the LANDLINE there. He then proceeded to ignore my request to reschedule and cut me off to say he was going to cancel my appointment. So now that it is cancelled I will not be returning, which is so disappointing. I absolutely understand being upset with customers for canceling, and canceling at their appointment time; however, the mistreatment and disrespectful way I was spoken to has soured my experience. I am too embarrassed to ever return unfortunately. Truthfully, I really recommend this salon and hope they had a customer to replace the hour time slot! I do still think they are the best salon in Antioch but I think the customer service is severely lacking. read more

Today, I went to get a much needed pedicure so I can have summer ready toes. The message was superb! The chair was also newer and felt really wonderful. She asked about the temperature of water and I like it hot and it was great! My winter feet are gone and my summer feet are on coat was $33. Not to painful. This was my go to place until I had a very thin dip that resulted in a broken nail the day after I got them done. I contacted them for a repair and they couldn't "fit" me in for 4 days. When I went to have the nail repaired she didn't have time to repair it correctly and just topped it with no chip polish instead of the dip. Of course the same day it broke again and they could not find me any time to repair except 15 minutes before closing I which I do not have childcare... needless to say they refunded my money and lost a customer. read more

I highly recommend crystal nails and spa in Antioch Illinois! I had an experience at another salon that made my nails look like little turtles they were so thick! I brought my daughter to Crystal's nail salon for a pedicure for her homecoming because it was closer to my house. I was highly impressed by how clean the salon is and the professionalism of their staff. I told Tim my bad experience and showed him my nails and he was able to fit me in the same day to fix them. After hearing about my mother's horrible experience at this establishment I had to share. She has been going here since they opened and is fond of the lady who does her nails. Today she saw someone else (Tim to be specific) because her nail lady is out of town for 6 weeks. She was told by him she has to go somewhere else because she simply asked to have one nail filed inward more. He threw a temper tantrum like a toddler. I work in costumer service and the costumer is always right. Something as simple as that should never have been an issue and now they have lost business by not only her but every other person in our family that goes there. It's disturbing to hear how horrific his actions were as you do not treat a costumer that way ever. Hard client or not you deal with it because that is your job. Kill 'em with kindness isn't truly that hard...I would know. read more

In looking at previous reviews , I thought I was going to receive a manicure in an environment that exhibited sanitary conditions! Was I mistaken! As I was waiting, I was watching how nail equipment was used and cleaned. The nail tech who was going to do my nails had just finished with another client. She took the same nail tools she used on her and was going to use them on me. I asked her to get clean equipment and she said it was clean . I stated it did not look clean at all. The box she put it in had a tray with apparently some solution in it but it was dirty with nail clippings and skin. She said that if I wouldn't let her use that equipment, she couldn't help me. This is my go to place for everything nails. It's super clean with a modern esthetic. Pedicures are done in a separate room with relaxed, dimmed lighting. Message chairs add an extra spa feel while being pampered. No chip usually lasts me about 3 weeks and they do a good job. The only thing I don't care for is if you pay with a credit card the prices are more. So if you don't have cash be prepared. Other than that, it's one of the best in the area. read more
