First, yesterday when making our appointment, we requested a removal and a full set for my sister, but they insisted on her only needing to get a fill, and then proceeded to complain about having to do repairs, when thats the exact reason we asked for a fullset. They were really rude, they kept trying to change my design and base. Teach your employees etiquette and basics because obviously they dont know them. Tried out this spot for a pedi and a princess pedi. We had a good experience. This spot has a nice atmosphere and kind service. There was a very friendly woman walking around checking in on people which I liked. Our nail techs were kind but quiet, they just let us enjoy the pedis. Overall the service was good, I could've used a few more coats as the polish is a bit translucent in some spots but overall I'm happy with what I got. Wish they had a bit more color options and checked in on the customer a bit more (examples check if water temp ok, check if we like the final look, check in at the end to see if dry, etc). Average pricing. My favorite part is you get a hot stone massage on your legs and feet, very unique and relaxing. read more

I decided last minute on Saturday that I wanted a mani pedi. This place was wonderful and extremely accommodating. It was also reasonable. I had Susan who was friendly and did a great job. I absolutely loved having the hot stones placed on my legs along with the hot towel. It was so relaxing and just what I needed at the end of a long week. My nails were very short however I found a beautiful silver sparkle polish to place on them. I always select I'm really not a waitress for my toes. It's bold and bright. I love you make a statement with my toes. I'm more conservative with my color on my hands since everyone sees those at work. I'll definitely make this my new place. The total for both services was $55. I usually pay that for just the pedicure. read more

Appointment ON POINT! WHICH IS something all other nails places are missing as they make you wait when you make an appointment and this is something this place does not do...love coming here. Really nice people - but I work in healthcare infection prevention and was a little appalled by the lack of cleanliness. There was stuff everywhere and the gel that was used in my was old and clumpy and I do have kind of uneven color on my nails. I probably won't be back just because it was so messy and just wasn't sure how clean and sterilized the equipment was. But again, extremely nice people! read more

Pedicure today at star nails, Antioch on 173. First time here... I liked it. No waiting for my apt. They were busy on Saturday. Seemed like everyone knew what to do... The chair back message was nice. Lots of adjustments which I like. Hot water to soak in always feels relaxing and soothing. Well scrubbed and excellent foot message with hot stones. That's new to me.
