Yelp didn't go wrong on this one. I called ahead and they got me a quick appointment. Some nail places aren't great at honoring appointments but they got in me right when I got there. The ladies were all of fun, sweet and chatty. A lot of times I find it a little awkward when you go to a nail shop and everyone is speaking another language. It just really makes you feel not included. This is so not the case at Queen Nails. It's a great, jovial atmosphere. The massage chairs are strong and have a ton of settings. My back feels awesome after a long work week. As for the nails, they did an excellent job. Mani and pedi for $30 - great deal and they did really nice work. My daughter (10yrs old) and I went out to get our nails done for my birthday this weekend. We looked this place up with rave reviews and decided to give it a try based on pictures of their work and everyone's reviews. My daughter asked for a shellac manicure with a marble design as a special treat. She was nervous to get her cuticles cut, so I told the lady to be very careful and gentle and only remove what was necessary to ensure the shellac manicure was what it should be. The lady didn't listen to what I asked and unfortunately, the attached picture is the result of my daughter's experience and the paint job is less than impressive compared to the work that is depicted in their high star reviews and were unable to do the marble design so this is what she had to settle for. They were very apologetic and tried to be nice but disappointed is an understatement and needless to say we won't be going back. Let's hope this doesn't turn into an infection! Oh, and of course they expected to be paid for this service as well. read more

Clean and not too busy salon. My friend and I came in for a pedicure. We had reservations, but they aren't needed, take walk ins. Kim did my toes and a quieter woman did my friend's. The chairs worked great, the water was just right, tools clean. At one point Kim hurt my pinky toenail during the pedicure, but she apologized profusely and I was ok anyway. Got my nails done here a few days ago . I was highly unsatisfied with my nails . They were cheap but guess you get what you pay for . I showed the man who was doing my nails what I wanted and I said a little bit shorter .. he went way shorter the whole nail shape was off . He didn't make sure my nails matched on each hand , I asked him to fix one nail it looked a little better but still off . At that point it was too late I was frustrated and wanted to leave so I left and paid for nails I did not even like . Then went to a different nail salon that has to fix them which costed me an additional $50 ! I called to get a refund a couple days later , the woman who answered the phone told me that I need to come in and show her my nails I told her I already got them fixed she said " no you still need to come in to get a refund I need to see the nails " I said okay I'll send you a picture of them along with my bank statement that shows I spent $50 right after I spent $27 at your nail salon ! She still said no I need to see them . Horrible customer service ! Why do I need to go out of my way for their mistake . Will never be returning other than to get a refund and will tell everyone I know to never go there . My mani and pedi were done well. They attend to their clients but may be at the cost of another clients. They don't like to keep people waiting so during my pedicure another client came in and was waiting for a lil bit, so the owner expressed to my nail tech to hurry up with me (at least I think that's what was said since it was in their native language). I'm not one of those clients you can rush because I'm particular so someone else had to attend to the other client. Not a fan of being rushed. Saw this done to another client as well. read more

I have been coming here for about 4 years and in the beginning I really enjoyed getting my nails done here, but now this place has no good service and poor quality work. I ended up being the 2nd customer in today at 9:40 am (they open at 9:30 am) and asked for a pedicure and full set. Of course because of the communication barrier she only heard pedicure. In the middle of my pedicure I reminded her that I hadalso asked to get full set done and she seemed annoyed. I waited for an hour and was told I needed to wait another 30 minutes because other people showed up after me and they needed to get done first. She didn't seem to be bothered that I was upset for sitting there for an hour and I was the second customer. Over the years they have gotten so bad at pleasing their old customers just so they can please the new ones. I will definitely not be going back or recommending them to anyone. read more

I was in town with my Auntie and we weren't from around the area, so I looked up on yelp the closest best reviewed. I found this place. We came in and instantly was greated and asked what we would like and directed us to the nail polish to pick a color. My auntie was getting a French tip and I picked a very baby blue color. It was very pretty. We didnt wait long before The lady had instantly filled up the water in the spa for our pedicures. When I dipped my feet in the water, it was hot and I told her that and she instantly cooled the water down and fixed it. She was very nice. Before she even got started to I showed her that I had a big owie on my foot where a blister was and to please be careful on my foot. She acknowledged and assured me she wouldnt hurt me. Our nail technicians asked what type of pedicures we wanted and we got the 30$ pedicure which included the paraffin dip. My pedicure was so relaxing. Exactly what I needed.. she did such a great job on the color too. So pretty and no mess ups. If I lived in the area, I would come back here. read more

I was referred here from a friend. Their staff is very friendly. they do a pretty good job! the only downfall is that their building needs a lot of repair. Their lights went out 3 times once when I was there. They have generators so the building wasn't dark and it was fixed immediately but I enjoy coming here. I was very impressed with Queen Nails. I swung into the parking lot in hopes they could take me as a walk in for a brow wax. I saw the door open so I strolled on in. I believe it was then owner, she was the only one in the shop and greeted me energetically asking if I had an appointment. I explained I was hoping to do a walk in brow wax. She took me to the waxing area promptly, turned on the relaxing music and got right to work. She mentioned she was in the shop to clean since they are closed on Sundays, unless they have appointments. I apologized up and down that I didnt even think to look at the shop hours and she brushed it off like it was really no big deal and I didnt inconvenience here one bit. Good prices! They are really nice and do a wonderful job on acrylics, shellac, etc! I had originally went in for shellac and I got a white French tip. I was a little upset with myself for not getting acrylics in the first place, so I called them to see how much it would be to get acrylics instead, Kim was super nice about it and said she'd do it for $5. Any other place would've made me pay the full amount for acrylics. I highly recommend them. They're quick and do a GREAT job. read more

I'm struggling to write this review. Our regular salon is remodelling so we went here. They were very fun, friendly and did an amazing job on our manis and pedis!!! I'm so sad to report the state of cleanliness gets a zero. Clutter and filth. Acrylic powder and liquid tray was caked and disgusting. Bags of trash laying in the walk way in the way of the hand wash sink. The floor was very dirty. Many of the polishes looked old. The layout of the manicure stations are not good if you consider the salon experience a social event, which we do. The owner and staff have incredible potential, just not hitting the mark. read more

I am super impressed with this place. It was my first time here and as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a really sweet lady. I wanted a mani and pedi, they told me to pick a color and as soon as I sat down they had one girl doing my feet and another doing my nails, very efficient. There was also only one other customer when I arrived though so they may not do that all the time. They did an amazing job. I just got solid colors, but there were no streaks and the hand and foot massage felt amazing. The massage chair was also very comfy. I will definitely be coming back. The only thing thing I can say as a small negative is that they have a lack of neutral/nude colors. I'm in the military so I can't have any bright colors on my fingernails and because their polish selection is on the smallish side (mostly reds and pinks) I went with something that I wouldn't usually do on my nails. Although it still turned out very pretty I may bring my own polish next time. Other than that, they are a great nail salon! 5 star! read more

I go to school in the same complex of this shop and thought I'd give it a try. Rosie was about to close, but when she saw me pull up she graciously took me in. She was quick but not hurried. I have a low pain tolerance and she was very gentle. Aside from the lovely job she did on my nails, she was extremely professional and kind. She wanted to remember my name and even had me write it down. She visited with me the whole time (which is rare in a nail salon) and genuinely acted grateful for my business.
