Trying again the next day, I called and made an appointment for later in the evening. This time they asked for my phone number, so I felt like I had a real appointment. My pedicure started on time. However, as I waited, I noticed the atmosphere was literally dark and overall just sad. Nobody was smiling or welcoming. The nail polish selection had old, half empty bottles. The woman came out, was gruff and rushed as she asked what I wanted. She waved the menu at me and tapped on it like I was taking too long. The place was basically empty inside, so I'm not sure why she had this attitude. She warmed up a bit as she did my nails, but I could see she was rushing the paint job. I tipped her well because she seemed to be making an effort. I examined her work before I left, but I couldn't see very well from the chair. When I got home, I could see the sloppy and uneven coats of polish . The filing was crooked as well. I will not be going back. The vibe was depressing and the quality was poor. Updating review due to dishonest business practices. My wife gifted me a $70 gift card. Admittedly I am horrible about using gift cards because I forget about them. While cleaning out my handbag and wallet I discovered this gift card. After receiving $67 in services and attempting to pay my tab is when I discovered that my gift card would not be accepted. Jenny stated that the gift card was old and no longer valid. Jenny placed an outbound call to the owner "Van" and handed the phone to me to speak with Van. Van advised me that she was the new owner and had no way to contact the previous owner to collect the $70. I mentioned to Van that Bella carries the same name and appearance currently as it did with the "previous" owner so how is the public to know there was a change in ownership. Van stated "because I'm looking at the paperwork." I asked if any type of notification was sent out to the public stating new ownership. The answer was no. Van didn't want me to be upset and wished for my continued client ship so she offered me a $35 credit off my $67 balance. Add insult to injury, I was then asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Are you kidding me? Bella kept my $70 gift card which I'm 100% sure has been collected from the "previous" owner. Bella, you are unethical, and handled this situation incorrectly. Got my nails done before vacation. Didn't last at all. Lasted 4 days. Paid $22 for mani and it's crap. My friend got hers done elsewhere and they were fine. Also the "massage" or whatever for manicure is just an older lady hitting you with her fist up and down your arms, so thanks for the bruises. Next time let a person know you're going to abuse them. Went in for a full set and normally I ask beforehand how much a set will be, my length of the nails were short almond shape is all I requested and just shellac. She told me $50 at first and then $5 more for shape. She then told me as she was working on my nails that she wouldn't charge me for the shape and I thought that was really kind of her. I have had some great appointments with this salon, but the last three were pretty bad. Some of their technicians are wonderful and professional. Others are rude and just not good at the work they do, my last three appointments have resulted in failed pedicure's and pretty poor manicure not only with getting nicked but the polish looking awful. August 3, 2022 Went as a walk-in client because Bliss Nail had messed up my appointment. I had a shellac pedi and mani. I had a gentleman give me my pedicure. He was so rough. He would grab my feet out of the foot bath, squeezing hard and slam them down on the towel. I and my girlfriend, told him several times he was being rough. I had recently had a broken ankle and he was hurting me. He also cut my big toe nail wrong. It is currently still infected. I am so in love with my set. Tracy Thai Did an AMAZING job. I asked her a week prior if she could do 3D flowers. She asked me to just show her the picture, and let me tell you she did NOT disappoint. I had a nail emergency that I needed to get taken care of before going out of town. I came in when they opened and it was already a little busy in there. My first notice was that it was dirty. I would have walked out at that point and in hindsight, I should have. There is not that many nail salons open on Sunday's, however. I needed a dip removal and then was going to just do a regular mani. They talked me into Dip which is fine. She did a decent job. They are dirty though. The table I was placed at was dirty. There were nail clippings sitting in the chair next to me. You can tell they don't sweep every night either. There shouldn't be nails and stuff allover the floor when you first open. Gross. I watched another women come in for an appointment with Jenny. She came in late, then proceeded to work on her nails while watching a show on her PHONE. My mom and I will never go back here again. My mom has been going here weekly for 5 years. When I'm in town she takes me and I usually get a pedicure or a manicure. She has an African accent and English isn't her first language. She asked for French tips saying she wanted it to be white at the top and pink at the bottom. Apparently this is called pink and white not French tips. Well she didn't know that. While they were doing it she kept telling them she wanted it pinker and at the end it wasn't what she wanted. It looked terrible. She didn't do the shape right either. We tried to clarify the mistake and asked them to do it again and Van refused. She said my mom said French tips and that's what she got. Despite me clarifying and even showing her what my mom actually wanted she wouldn't let anyone re-do it. I said I'd pay for them to just redo it with pink and white with a different stylist and Van refused. It was so disrespectful and such an awful experience. I have never had service that terrible. Even other people at the nail salon were shocked that they wouldn't accept our money to do it. It was ridiculous. Worst place I've been to. When I finally found the time to get out for some mom time I was excited to get my nails done. I picked Bella nails because of how close it was to home. I hated it. The guy that did my nails was not nice he jerked me leg in and out of the water and was being rough, pushing my leg in when he was done massaging it or cutting cuticles. After he put the color on and was done I noticed most of the toes had spotting, I flagged him down (after sitting for an hour for nails to dry) & he acted like there was nothing wrong. I asked him for an extra coat of color, which seemed like a hassle to him despite the salon being fairly empty. I will start off by saying I've gotten some beautiful sets here. Jenny and Tracy both take time in the work they do but last time was a experience that made me not want to ever go back. To start I'm used to salons charging more for longer nails especially for a new full set but in this instance she used pre-shaped coffin tips. At most other places the most I've been charged is $10 but here? It was $20 which I thought was ridiculous. Especially because she didn't hand shape the acrylic tips into coffin. She also consistently was squeezing the life out of my fingers telling me I needed to "relax", I don't purposely become stiff it's more of a reaction from bad nail techs in the past. Last of all I don't break nails easily and even though it's only been two weeks I broke one when I was changing which was little to no pressure. I'm totally ok with paying more and having it consistently last more than 2 weeks rather than paying $25 for a shellac manicure elsewhere and having it peel off a week later. Honestly thought I was going to have a great experience coming here. I walked in and they said to come back in 45 mins so that's what I did. When I came back they sat me right away and I already knew what color I wanted. It took awhile for a technician to come up to me probably because every employee was in the back eating and talking. I waited 10 minutes for a technician to come to me and tell me to wait 5 more minutes. Obviously had no choice, I sat patiently for about 10 more minutes and finally she came to begin on my nails. After asking my shape and length she started. Right away whoever was working on me was talking to other technicians the whole time while doing my nails, she stopped 3 different times because other technicians would walk up and talk to her or show her something on their phone. I've been to Bella a few times, but tonight was the worst experience. My friend wanted to go and that's the only reason I went, too. I usually see a gal in Lake Stevens that's awesome, but I thought she's a little expensive at $50. (That includes anything you want for a manicure. She uses a gel polish that's better than shellac & SNS. Anyway, back to Bella) Boy was I wrong. She's cheap compared to Bella. Let's first talk about the service. I misunderstood Natalie about what was on my nails. I thought she was asking what I wanted which was SNS. They soaked my hands in the solution for 10 minutes. It was burning me. It's not good to soak your hands or nails in it. Natalie had me wash my hands. They wrapped my nails for another 15 minutes. Now, my nails soaked for nearly 30 minutes. They still couldn't get off my polish. I had told them they need to sand it down. Sanding is better for your nails. They used the wrong sander even though I said to use the smooth metal one. The guy got some of it off. I still had gel on my hands when they were doing the manicure. Another gal that couldn't speak English did the manicure. She gave a great massage. Another gal picked my gel off with a acrylic tip. She got some of it off. She complained that my nails were weak. My nails were very strong before I went there. The acetone made them very weak. Natalie finally came over (the 4th person working on my nails). She used the correct sander and got the rest of the gel off. She did my ombre SNS and shaped them. She was quick. I'm only giving 2 stars because of Natalie; otherwise, I would do 0. Also, they were good with my son. Now, it's time to pay. I think it's the manager or owner that checked me out. He said it's $16 for manicure, $50 for ombre, and $10 for removing my nail polish because they couldn't figure it out. Oh...they're offering 20% on a 2nd service or 1st service whichever is cheaper. I got $3 off of my manicure. Oh my gosh.....not. My bill was $72. I told him no one charges for manicure separately. It's part of the price of shellac and SNS. Most places charge $40 for SNS w/manicure. Why is getting glitter $10 more? It's not an additional step or more polish. They still only did 2 coats. Anyway, the guy was extremely rude about it. Way overpriced for what you get. I was charged the extra 5 dollars when my nails are the length of the shortest ones... I told the lady who did my nails that there were bubbles but she told me it was fine and that she was going to put something over it. What?! I was charged an extra 15 for chrome, which whatever, I did agree to that. I'm not sure if they just don't listen to you when you have a concern. When she was done I walked over to my friend and was telling her I was unhappy because there were bubbles in 5 of my nails and it was really bothersome. I assume the lady doing her nails told the one who did time and she came over to ask what the issue was. She came over and fixed them, but again, there were still bubbles and I honestly just wanted to leave at that point and file them down on my own and do them. I tried this nail salon for the first time, as I'm trying to find a good quality shop that is also reasonably priced. The pros... Kathy did a beautiful job on my shellac manicure. She was friendly and suggested a great red color for the holidays. I liked the hot towel at the end. The cons... the nail file and buffer had been used. I thought the standard now is to open brand new nail files for each customer. Also, the towel that collected my nail clippings and cuticle skin was just shaken out and used to dry the lotion off my arms. Yuck! There was also a surprise with the price - I didn't see on the website that the $22 Spa Manicure doesn't include removal. That was an additional $15. But there's more. My nail technician was Hoang, and she took not one, but two phone calls during my shellac. I laughed the first time but the second time was excessive. She said the call was for a coffee order. Since she wasn't paying attention, my nails got messed up (she forgot to turn on the hardening lamp even when I let her know!) Unfortunately, most places were already closing and we found this one on Yelp still open and gave them a call just to confirm. When we first arrived, the woman at the desk was very short and honestly, quite rude. As we were filling out the paper they have you do at the beginning, she was pushing additional services and pushing extras on us blatantly when we said we just wanted a classic pedicure, nothing special or fancy. Then she asked my brothers gf if she was going to get her fingernails done too, implying that hers were getting really bad which was rude. I took a friend here after saving up for us to both have pedicures. The whole experience after tip was $100. The guy that my friend got to give her a pedicure asked her immediately before they started if she would read out loud over 100 questions for an important test he is studying for. My friend is nice so she agreed. He stopped the pedicure every time he was thinking and when they were done with the questions, he kept leaving to go in the back and make a call or look at his phone. I watched as she got a different experience than I did.
