I took a friend here after saving up for us to both have pedicures. The whole experience after tip was $100. The guy that my friend got to give her a pedicure asked her immediately before they started if she would read out loud over 100 questions for an important test he is studying for. My friend is nice so she agreed. He stopped the pedicure every time he was thinking and when they were done with the questions, he kept leaving to go in the back and make a call or look at his phone. I watched as she got a different experience than I did. He didn't include the oil we paid for, mixed a bunch of products together for the scrub portion and her hot towels were cold by the time he got to her with it. Rushed experience, very disappointed, would have otherwise been a returning customer, but now I won't go back and waste my money here. read more

I'm so sorry for the graphic photos, but this was just so bad I felt I needed to warn people. Also, this one review is for three bad experiences with the same nail tech, so sorry that it's long. I debated leaving this negative review, as I've had a number of positive experiences with the ladies who work here. But the horrible service I received at this appointment was completely inexcusable and it happens every time I see Danny. When he was taking the gel off my old set, he slipped and cut me so badly that it wouldn't stop bleeding for about 15 minutes. This was no ordinary nick from a file. It starts at my cuticle and goes all the way around to the underside of my finger tip. He went to go put pressure on it with his bare hands and I yanked my hand away because that is unsanitary and disgusting. He got a bandaid for it, but managed to mess up putting that on too and put it on really tight. He went to go put neosporin on the wound and was about to touch the tip of the applicator to my bloody finger and, again, I yanked my finger away again and said "that is cross contamination, don't touch my cut with that." I don't care that it's antiseptic; who knows what else has touched the tip of it? The rest of the manicure he was not particularly gentle with that finger. It was throbbing and burning the whole time. I will say the shape I asked for he achieved but this fill and shape/cut-down took OVER an hour. Then he added insult to injury, literally. He went to put cuticle oil on my hands and I said no thank you because I don't like it. He asked if I wanted the lotion instead and I politely said no, that it makes it hard to drive because it's so slimy. This man then had the nerve to MOCK ME, repeating what I just said "makes it hard to drive"and then laughing. I was livid by this point and just ready to leave. Then when I went to go check out, not only did they charge me for the fill and gel polish, but he charged me an extra $5 to shape my nails. Made no previous mention of this up-charge. It was going to be $41. I said "are you serious? You cut me that badly and you're not going to give any kind of a discount? I've gotten much milder cuts from here and been discounted." He gave me a measly $5 off, then was pissed that I didn't tip. My finger hurt into the next day all the way to the base of my finger, and it's still red and inflamed days later. This isn't my only bad experience with Danny either. The first time I ever saw him, he put the wrong kind of top coat on my plain polish. It was all bubbled up and cracked and wouldn't dry for hours. It looked so bad I had to go back two days later. He started by smack-talking whoever did the manicure, and I quickly cut in to remind him that he did the initial manicure. He used the electric file on my nails, no idea why when he could have just used polish remover, and it damaged my natural nails that I had worked really hard to grow out. They were never the same after that. I should have known better than to ever let him touch my nails after that and, against my better judgement, I let him try again and paid a hefty price. The ladies who work here are honestly great and do beautiful work. But I will never let Danny do my nails ever again. read more

Danny was rushed and was so abrasive when doing my nails. He ran the drill file so hard that it got hot and burned me when it touched the skin on both sides of my nails. He filed too hard and fast with the manual file, that he got down to skin. My nails are pretty but my fingers are sore as heck and it's definitely not worth the pain. When there yesterday with 6 yr old and husband for pedi/manic, we had several ladys working on us, they were rude, some didnt even say hi and the one doing my pedicure when home so the other one couldn't find the color i had picked so i when home with 2 shades of orange , husband was left on chair and she never dry his feet and didn't say if she was done with him or what, and they were so rude cause our daughter was apparently moving too much , paid a total of $91 i didnt ever bother to ask where all the charges came from we had basic work done so never coming back there very angry and disappointed of this place !! read more

I went here to get my nails done for Homecoming last year and I absolutely LOVED the way they turned out, I can't remember her name but she did an amazing job and honestly they're my favorite nail set I've ever had till this day. I decided to go back to get my Prom nails done there and was super disappointed. The lady who did them seemed rushed and she was also on the phone so I felt awkward. I am so very happy Bella Nails opened again after the Covid closure. I have been going here for a few years and love their service. Handsome has been doing my nails and pedicures and does a phenomenal job. He is also very fast at it! I want to give an update about how they are handling the COVID requirements. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE at this salon takes the Covid virus seriously. They are taking every precaution as to not get the virus nor pass the virus on if they are carriers. Each time I have been in the salon since they opened back up they require hand sanitizing prior to filling out the form, then ask us to wash our hands prior to our service. They required masks even before the governor enforced it. If you don't have a mask they have their own Bella Nails mask they give you for free which are individually wrapped or you can buy the blue medical mask for $1.00 which is in its own ziploc to insure it hasn't been exposed to anything. That is pretty inexpensive if you ask me as those masks have been hard to get. They also have all the shields at each nail station and shields and protective liners at each pedicure station. They also have every other chair vacant to maintain 6 ft of space for social distancing. They in NO WAY are not following the rules. Please remember that all of these employees were out of work for nearly 3 months. They want to get back to work, they want to do it responsibly and they still aren't at full capacity so they are not making the $$ they used to. I am a total germaphobe so if I feel safe going here you can too! Ask for handsome he is incredible! I just love him. He is so kind and truly does an incredible job. read more

I didn't appreciate this place customer service. I had scheduled an appointment at noon & they literally made me wait 45 min to be attended. I understand that sometimes nail salons can be short staffed but they should've communicated that with me before getting me in for an appointment. I wasted 45 min for nothing. I called and booked an appointment, and when I went to my apt, they said I had never called and booked. I spoke to a girl that morning and she told me when to come, took my name and phone number. They forgot to write it down and then blamed me for it. I then had to wait an hour to get in. It was the busiest, most chaotic salon I've ever been to. I was understanding as they were just overwhelmed and the staff was nice. However, my nails are pretty bad. I had a broken nail, and instead of filing it off she just ripped it off, which burned throughout the whole service. I got a set of acrylics and they're bumpy, thick, uneven, messy, and my fingers are all different shapes and lengths. Great place, very clean, the owner for over two years now, Van, (mini van, as she and most VN women named Van say) is very nice. Great service. Natalie and Jenny are excellent, in my experience. Jimmy stays booked, with a loyal following. Van will remodel the interior soon. It looks a little dated, which may explain some of the 'dingy' comments, because it's always clean. And with full service you get a margarita! Otherwise tea, soft drinks, and water. I've seen a young man dragged there by his boss's executive assistant for a pedicure - the boss's treat. But the guy that did my nails didn't do what I asked and went to thin with them and then when I told him I wasnt happy he finished the appointment with an attitude. I use to love going here and never had an issue till I went in on Monday September 30th. Danny was the guy who did my nails. He cut me 3 times on three different fingers and never once said sorry and blamed me for it and I have a whole bunch of air bubbles on all ten fingers. Also I know Vietnamese and he was super rude talking bad about me to his coworkers. Also he was more worried about watching a football game in his phone and made me feel like I was a bother to him when he is at his place of work. I asked him to do rounded square nails, simple right? he couldn't even do that. I had to go home and file my nails myself. All these issues and I spent $50 for nails that look like a 3 year old did them and cuts that I'm pretty sure are getting infected. I will never go here again. And will make sure my friends and family don't either. Also side note, they told me they are unable to do refunds for stuff like this. So remember that. read more

I've been here twice . One because it was convenient and second because I friend wanted to go here although I didn't. The first time it was horrible the person nicked my fingers various times and instead of apologizing just said I was sensitive. Even left marks on them. I got a full acrylic set and nails were uneven. The second time my friend wanted to go so I said ok I guess it couldn't hurt maybe it's gotten better since the first time I went. It turns out it hasn't . My fingers will still nicked and the nails came out uneven again. They nail tech was rushing and getting me and another girl done at the same time. She was amazingly fast without any mistakes, took great care of my feet and hands, and made conversation and was genuine. The chairs are comfortable and the massage action is nice. Bella is really clean and well taken care of. Prices were very reasonable. Located in a separate building near Macy's at the Everett Mall, there's plenty of free parking. read more

He was watching football on his cell phone the entire time as well as muttering under his breath In his native language. He was rough and very pushy. After removal the SNS, your nails will not look smooth because the nails surface has been damaged instead you do classic manicure and the nails tech will clean your cuticle and buffers 2. If you don't like the color then you can come back we change the color for you without any cost because of our warranty. My suggestion is dark color because the nails surface was not good. 3. My nails tech said that you are in hurry for your lunch time. She did tell you to change color if you have time. 4. Do not hesitate to come back and we fix for you Thanks again Thomas I am even more upset now, because they are being dishonest. 1. My nails are as smooth as any natural nail... the tech never touched my cuticles with scissors or anything else 2. A lighter color works just fine because mt nails are smooth 3. The tech asked if I was in a hurry and I specifically said, "not at all, I only work 2 minutes away and have an hour for my lunch" the tech NEVER said anything about a color change 4. I will not come back to a salon that can't do a basic polish, when I can do it better myself. Original: Thoroughly disappointed in the services I received today. I went in for SNS removal, and regular color. My hands were soaking in acetone for almost 10 minutes... and I'm not talking acetone on a cotton swab with foil... my whole hand was in it. Once the sns was removed, things were going ok, until the tech realized the color I chose was old/ thick. She attempted to thin it, but it still went on really rough. There was no attempt to start over, nor did she ever ask if I'd be ok with a different color, she just kept adding more coats. If that wasn't enough, she rushed through my drying and told me I was ready to leave, when my nails were still clearly not dry. At this point she had recieved 3 phone calls and 5 additional people had walked in. I feel she rushed through my manicure (if you could even call it that) so that she could move on to the additional people. I came here a few weeks ago with my bridal party. I was the bride. I had a great pedicure and my nails were great. It wasn't until the end of the service that made me never want to come back to this place. Before she painted my nails she asked me to pay, no problem! she told me it was going to be $40. I said "perfect does that include French" and she was like "oh no French is $5 more for your toes and $5 more for your nails so $50 for everything".. no problem well they charged my card and bring me back the receipt and they charged me $60!!!!! I pointed it out and said something and the guy was like "oh she miss quoted you it's actually supposed to be 60" and I said "okay well that's not my fault you guys quoted me $50 if you knew if you made a mistake you need to tell me before just charging my card" . He said he would fix it and I said " you know what never mind keep the 60 and just take 10 out of that 60 for a tip, thinking that they would fix their mistake. if you tell a customer One Price even though it was your mistake own up to it. I've made many mistakes at my job where I charge someone incorrectly and I do everything to make it right. He didn't use sterlized tools and my polish application still hasn't dried after 2 hours. He was putting it on so thick and sloppy that I asked him to only do one coat. This was my first visit to this establishment. It was a little confusing at first but then a gentlemen helped me. I requested a mani and pedi. Pedicure (Tracy) went well and Hoang took my polish off my fingers and provided me with good info about dipping. I was hoping she would be doing my manicure but she ended up taking a pedi that walked in. My manicure was done by Kathy who didn't really do a manicure she just did the dipping and a quick massage. Many of them were talking Vietnamese to each other. In fact, during my manicure, if that's what that was considered there were 5 of the standing around me talking. I was never offered anything to drink however, every other customer was. I won't be returning. Sad as this is close to home and has great potential. This was my first salon visit back since the stay home, stay healthy act was put in place. I would say they are being very safe and sanitary. As soon as you walk in, you are asked to sanitize and they take your temp. You are required to wear a mask (as you are everywhere now) and if you don't have one it looked like they had some for sale you could buy. They had every other station being used and they had plexi glass up between you and the tech. I'm very appreciative that they're taking all of the extra steps to keep everyone safe and my pedicure was lovely and it was much needed! I will be back for sure! read more

First time getting my nails done since the quarantine started and right when I get there I spilled my drink everywhere and then cut my hand on glass somehow‍ the ladies were super nice about it and cleaned it up right away and disinfected my cut for me, put neosporin and a bandaid on it for me. Again Natalie goes above and beyond! Mom and I went in for our pedicures and I always ask for Natalie because she is great at extracting my ingrown toenail's and is just nice as could be. She is always friendly, welcomes us and says "how are you mom", to my mother. It always makes my mom smile and giggle. My mom always takes whomever is available and this time it was a lady who never spoke to my mom once, but luckily Natalie was there. Mom has had two back surgeries and isn't able to put her feet flat on the stand, so whoever works on her has to do the bending. Most of the time that's not an issue but this lady kept trying to pull mom's foot flat and it was hurting her hip. Mom asked Natalie to explain to her that she can't turn her leg, so finally the lady quit trying to pull it. Thanks Natalie. My experience was awesome as always, but moms not so much. Natalie said I could of course call ahead next time and make us both appointments with her, but we like to get them done at the same time. We will figure it out. This was mine and my daughter's first mama-daughter manicure together and we had a great experience. They were packed to the brim and I could tell it was stressful keeping up but they accommodated and we're very kind. There weren't enough chairs but one of the beauty technicians actually got on her knees to paint my little girls nails since she had to sit on a little chair. I love my shellac and even though my daughter didn't pick out very coordinated colors, they did what she requested and complimented her nails constantly. It was a lovely time, despite the chaos. I really wanted to like this place but I am ultimately really disappointed. It kind of reminds me of a really hot guy who is dumb and can't kiss. The location is beautiful - not your typical trashy Everett nail salon. I went in when my regular shop couldn't get to me. I was initially really wowed. Ultimately it's not somewhere I would go back. Here's the full break down of pros and cons: Pros: -beautiful decor -very clean (including using disposable liners for pedis) -sheets to fill out when you come in so they know what you want to get -free drinks -reasonable prices -lots of stations and people working Cons: -6 of my acrylics are lifting after 3 days -one nail is already cracked -2 of my fingers were nicked by the dremel -the girl who did my pedi chastised me for moving my feet too much in the tub -the girl who did my fill wrenched my hands around -one girl who worked on me picked at a scab on my leg and asked me what it was with a grossed out look on her face and then said something to her coworker in Vietnamese. Save yourself! (Actually deserves negative stars).There was a guy who used to work there he was very good looking, very sweet. Any ways he left and it was never the same. They are VERY rude and rarely ever speak English. They are all always laughing and smirking at each other. The first time I went back I had an appointment. I didn't have to wait but the lady looked annoyed to have to do my nails. I always get shellac on my nails, I'm not picky I don't ask for a lot and I don't speak unless I'm spoken to. Well she was almost done and one of her friends walked in... She left me. I had to ask someone else to put on the top coat! Not to mention a regular manicure normally comes with lotion and that hot wax stuff. No I was rudely tossed a bill. Today I went in for my appointment with Jenny that I have had scheduled for two weeks. I had my bridal shower this weekend and a super busy week ahead with no other times available to get my nails done. I moved around my schedule to make that time work. I showed up on time and waited thirty minutes. She was out running errands. When she comes back at 3, another appointment has shown up and Jenny she says that I didn't have an appointment with her and that whoever scheduled my appointment didn't write down that it was with her. She offered to have someone else do them but I didn't want that or else I would have done it over the weekend and not waited for an appointment that I had to reschedule things for. I also wanted an intricate design and my other experiences here have taught me that I won't do anything but solid colors with another nail tech. I'm very disappointed as I waited a long time for my appointment and now I won't have polished nails for my bridal shower. I don't even have time In my schedule to go to a different salon as I dedicated my only available time to this appointment and I wasted 30 minutes waiting to be told they weren't going to do my nails. The first time I went in I got a pedicure and it was pretty good. The nail tech didn't speak any English but I could still communicate just fine to let her know what I needed. The second time I went in, my pedicure was not horrible but not good. They didn't clip the sides of my nails so I have the worst ingrown nails. How she cut them make them look super boxy and the edges of my toenails are not painted. It's like they figure you won't ever notice. Third time I went in to get a manicure. The nail tech acted like it was an inconvenience and never said one word to me the whole time unless I asked her questions. Pretty awkward. I got shellac white tips and they are so bubbled that dirt gets in them all day so it looks like I have black dots on my entire tips. The shellac started lifting three days after I got it. One week later and I can literally peel them off. I think some of the techs are good but the others are less than par. I won't be going back sadly. read more
