Very disappointing experience, especially for $85. I came with my mom before a special event and chose the $70 organic pedicure with $15 gel. I work on my feet for 12 hours a day, so I was really looking forward to a relaxing pedicure and a good massage. I waited about 15 minutes for my service to start, and unfortunately, the experience only got worse. Two employees were extremely rude and lots of rude comments but the one that bothered me the most was about my eczema and she made fun of it, which made me very uncomfortable. The women with a bob and brown/blonde highlights who did my pedicure also did a poor job, rushed through the massage, and stopped halfway through my service to work on another client. I was planning to add chrome for another $10, but after the way I was treated, I decided not to. She seemed upset about that as well. They almost always get it right. even when they don't (which isn't often) it's usually because I haven't been clear enough, or I haven't spoken up. Let me start with I'm a girls girl. I root for women business + I get my nails done every 2 weeks. I love the location. The nail shop is clean + they have a lot of color options. I have been here several times for different services. The nail techs do an okay job and sometimes a nice job depending on the nail tech. The nail techs are pretty nice. However, unfortunately, based in the handful of times I have had services done there (about 10 times) . I have had to be very on top of their work of certain nails techs otherwise they will not do certain steps. In addition, I have made appointments on several occasions with specific nail techs and they have put me with another nail tech that I did not request - this has happened on at least 3 different occasions and the sneakiness in the way it's done - it rubs me the wrong way. I will not be going here again. If you are the type that you don't mind people misleading you- then this is your place. However, whoever I give business to I need them to be honest with me +not just want to take money from me. I have had way to many misleading incidents happen here for me to continue giving them the benefit over the doubt. read more

I'd like to preface this by saying this is my first time getting nails done in WA, I just moved from San Diego. I was expecting pricing to be around the same as places in SD but this salon in particular is VERY expensive. The nail tech who did my manicure did great, exactly what I asked for. There are a couple of bubbles I've noticed and she did nick me a bit but truly not a big deal. The lady doing my pedicure however, she was nice but she didn't do the same color as what was on my nails, the color I asked for. The line (it's colored French) is also quite thick and not as well done as my manicure. I may go back for the manicure tech but not so much pedicure. For the last 3 months their phone has not worked, so I have to get a ride there just to make an appt (they're always too busy for walk-ins). Last month the man in charge tried telling me that he thought I was "too wide" for the comfortable chairs at the nail table (I am overweight) and tried to get me to sit on my walker instead; after repeatedly telling him that I sit in those chairs every month he finally let me sit down. Now today, after coming in on Monday to make my appt, I'm told that the Pedi chairs are "too old" and so they cannot honor my Pedi appt-WTH?!? There was about 8 people using those chairs that were "too old", including a woman almost my size. I don't care if the discrimination is because of my disability or my weight, neither is ok in my book and I'm taking my business elsewhere. read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but I have been coming here for months now and just had to. The nail technicians are so friendly and chatty--I feel like I'm hanging out with a friend! Each woman does the same, consistent job; I get dip done in a coffin shape and I love how they turn out. My only complaint is they sometimes knick my cuticle, but it's not often. They take their time to make each nail look perfect, but I'm in and out in no time. My nails legit last for two weeks OR more if I don't smack them on things (oops). OMG I found my nail place finally! My friend asked me if I wanted to go have a girls day and I of course said yes. Not being from here I've been looking for a nail place close to home! They do the organic mani and pedi and I of course got that one! My favorite part was the flower pedals in the water. ahhhh did I mention they serve wine with your pampering?! My first and only experience with this nail salon was horrible. I called the day prior and made an appointment for myself, my husband, and my parents for pedicures at 4PM. The woman who took my reservation was brusque but efficient. She read back the time, service, and number of clients correctly. So far so good. Then things went south... We arrived promptly at 4PM for our appointment. The first thing we noticed when walking in the door was that we were absolutely assaulted with the heavy smell of acrylic nails and chemicals in a hot, stuffy, and overcrowded environment. (My mom actually had to wait outside because the fumes were so strong.) It would be a stretch to say we were greeted; one of the technicians simply paused in the manicure she was performing and gave us a questioning look. I said we are checking in for our scheduled 4 o'clock pedicures. She dismissively said, "A few minutes..." No one spoke in full sentences, which might even be alright if the service made up for this. It did not. We waited, and finally at 4:15PM we asked again about our 4 o'clock appointment for our party of 4 and were told they could take 2 of us back to get started. So my mom and I went back and sat side by side in chairs. The water was a comfortable temperature, and my chair was relatively comfortable but my mom's chair was broken (it even had a laminated sign on it saying do not touch the remote) so she wasn't able to sit forward nor change it from an awkward reclined position. There was only 1 nail technician for about 5 of us sitting back there. She kind of hurriedly tossed the spa menu to us and demanded to know which one we picked. She started quickly on me first by trimming my nails, and then some other girl (not with our party) sat down kitty-corner from us. Without a word of explanation to me the nail technician who had started on me immediately got up and went over to her and started removing her nail polish...leaving me hanging. She wore gloves, but she did not change them between me and her (!!!). I'm at a loss to understand the process here, or feel cared for as a client, because it was so chaotic and frantic. When she returned to me she started aggressively trimming my cuticles and was going so fast and hard that she cut too deep on the cuticle around my right big toe and made me bleed. This was extremely painful. She did apologize and continue to work, but she was rushing the whole time. At around 4:25PM the other 2 members of our party were brought back and seated across from us, making it impractical to visit. There were still no other technicians in sight at this time for the pedicures just the 1, and my mom remained unattended to in her awkward chair. Finally at 4:30PM -- a full 30 minutes after our originally scheduled appointment -- I had enough. The pedicure I was undergoing was unpleasant and painful. None of the other members in my party had been tended to. I decided to stop this process in its tracks. The whole experience showed an extreme lack of professionalism, care, consideration, and skill. So I stopped the pedicure and told the technician I'll pay for mine and we'll be leaving now. I didn't expect to be charged for what we had endured, but she mumbled an apology as she ran my credit card, charging me the full amount. There was zero consideration for the fact that my pedicure had been botched; the broken chair my mom was made to sit in; and the other members in my party that were essentially ignored. After we had left my right big toe bled a bit more, was red and throbbing for a good 4 hours after we got home and caused me pain during the night. Thankfully upon arriving home I had immediately scrubbed it and applied antibiotic ointment. It did not turn into a full blown infection, but these are real risks and quite common when technicians have sub-par skills and questionable hygienic practices. This experience left an awful taste in my mouth and the other 3 members of my party. I would never come back here and, further, would warn others to seek your pedicures elsewhere. read more

Be careful - they don't honor scheduled appointments over the people who add-on services after they arrive. I arrived at 5:55pm for my 6pm appt., booked in advance. After 10 minutes, I was told it would be a 20 minute wait because other customers decided to add on pedicures after their manicures were done. I said that I have a scheduled appointment, perhaps you should put them into the "walk-in" list. The nail tech said well, we can't do that. So I left. I have been going to this salon for a couple years. Always use the same nail tech. They KNOW I am allergic to the gel and acrylic and know not to put it on. I had an appointment on July 8th, prior to engagement photos, and the tech who normally does my nails sat me in her chair. I noticed she was doing a different technique and continued to question what she was using the entire time. At the end when she brought out the UV light lamp I said I cannot have this on my nails-you know I am allergic to this product. She said, "you'll be okay this time since it's not touching your skin. If you have a reaction come back and we will take it off." That night my fingers started to itch and swell as I told her they would. The next morning I called and told them I was having an allergic reaction and I need them taken off...to which they replied- "we don't have time until 4pm. Come at 4". An hour after my phone call to them my fingers were going numb and becoming tingly. I decided to drive to the salon-fully prepared to wait-I just needed them off. When I arrived they said, "you have an appointment at 4, we can't do anything right now". I explained the tingly numb feeling and they said, "your fingers feel like that because you haven't had your nails done in a while". Shocked, upset and in pain I told them I will go somewhere else. When I pulled into the parking lot of a new salon to have the nails removed, master nails called me and said, "don't be mad, come back and we will take them off". I have never been so disappointed by the lack of customer service provided by an establishment in my entire life. They knew I was allergic to it and completely disregarded my concerns, pain, and discomfort. I have a picture timeline of my nails from the moment I got them done continuing with my allergic reaction when it didn't stop after I had them removed. It is now 21 days after I had my nails done at their establishment and I am STILL dealing with my fingers. But...it's just because I haven't had my nails done in a while. I recently was visiting Washington and stopped to have my nails done and a facial procedure. I have nothing but kind things to say about the lady who did my nails or the workmanship. While there I had my phone and charger plugged behind her station. My phone rang and she pulled out both the charger and the cord and handed them to me . We went into the treatment room and the cord was with me upon leaving that room. In getting home, I realized my charger and the cord were not there. I drove all the way back to look and found a cord in the back room where the last treatment was done. They claimed it was their cord.
