Can't seem to find quality salons who do actual healthy dip powder where I am at in SD but seems like they have plenty here in Washington! Crystal Nails and Spa has quality services for a good price. Services: They seem to offer most services including the SNS dipping powder (no light required)! The services I did were SNS dip powder nails and regular pedicure, along with removals of previous set. All in all I paid about 140 with tip for everything. Michelle is a top tier technician! Without even breaking a sweat,she was training a new tech who was doing my pedicure - Thi(?) I believe was her name. Michelle even did a French tip with dip which most places can never do for me bc it's a bit hard to do with just dip! I am allergic to any gel/acrylics so I haven't been able to do any design in a while and really appreciated getting a French tip :') Michelle was efficient, used an efile so it was more gentle on my nails than hand filing, and had such beautiful clean work! Thi did my pedicure and although still seemingly to be in training she did soooo well; she has the most gentle touch even with scrubbing my calluses, this may seriously be the best pedicure I have ever had. There was hot stone massage and exfoliating scrub included! Salon is clean and has updated massage chairs as well. I highly recommend this salon

WORST manicure I think I've ever had…read more. I came in for an appt at 6pm. I needed a fill for some gel x nails (3 had fallen off) and a pedi. The pedicure was great. However I have never had my nails look this messed up. If it hadn't been 730 when they finished (they close at 7) I would have complained. it looks like I did them myself...I considered going back tomorrow to have them fix, but I might go somewhere different. they were kind ladies, but I am so disappointed in how it turned out. Issues: *filled nails using some kind of liquid acrylic. Left them looking lumpy, uneven and crooked, the shapes don't match from the top view AND the side view.. *the sides of the nails aren't painted fully, u can see nail underneath on 4 different spots. Nail beds are also not fully painted on several nails. *new gel x nails (pinky, pointer on left/middle on right ) are WAY too thin, from the side and also the shape compared to others. I even complained about it while she was doing them and asked her to put a layer of the acrylic over so they looked more like the others, she refused. they are also WAY LONGER than the rest cause she didn't clip or even file them down. They have a completely different shape too, much skinnier and straight instead of coffin. They look like they came with a whole different set. * cuticles look chewed up and swollen from being sanded instead of clipped (she used the electric drill with sander attachment which hurt pretty bad) * super impatient and rushed me to pick a color, convinced me to get dark color instead of light, and got it all over my hands. The dark color is making the flaws stand out and look even worse. *dripped liquid acrylic under nail and left it to harden

The woman who did the pedicure rushed through it like she had some where better to be. Did not take direction at all, cut my right great toe in 2 different places, drawing blood and had no concern about it. Didn't say a word just grabbed and shoved my feet and legs around. Ultimately ended up with a raging infection, started swelling and becoming fiery red within 24 hours (did not use sterilized instruments, obviously not even clean ones) Had to visit the podiatrist to have part of the nail removed and the drainage cultured, and will have to take antibiotics for 10 days. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
