Updated review with pictures sadly. I have been supporting this place for years but I am done after tonight's experience. I was placed with someone I have never met or seen in the salon. She arrived late, which is fine, things happen. She could not seem more disinterested in doing my nails or listening to what I wanted to save a life. I let her know one of my nails was broken pretty far back and that I could like it repaired. I have had this done many times in the past by Lili with zero issues. She proceed to cut my nail straight off, angle, skin exposed. Next, nail art. I asked for one thing and was given the compete opposite that I am now having to redo at home because it's lifting and I leave for a trip Sunday. Bubbles in the paint job, uneven nails. Well, I asked for a refund because I had to go to another salon to get my nails fixed because Tina damaged my nails. Tina said she would do my nails for free next time lol why would I go back to a place that doesn't respect me as a client even though I've been there for years and anytime I make an appointment with one specific person they don't wanna give me that person. Tina's husband even told me that Nancy doesn't do good nails. She's only good at toes. Well that's interesting because I love how Nancy did my nails and they looked really great every time. That's why I only wanted her to do them. So if you go there, just know you won't get a refund. They'll just keep telling you oh you can get free nails next time but why would you keep going back to a place that messes up your nails? I literally had the WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE HERE. They DESTROYED my nails and I am still living with the consequences 2 months later. My nails have been breaking off below the quick for months and bleeding (which has NEVER happened before in my life) because the nail tech used an electric sander to file my nails down to be extremely brittle, thin, painful and so so uneven. DO NOT COME HERE if you don't want your nails destroyed. The results may look pretty at first, but if you EVER take the gel or acrylics off, you will regret it for months like I have. Go somewhere that actually knows how to do nails without ruining them!! As a side note, I've been getting my nails done my entire life (the past 15 years) and I have NEVER had this happen. I've been going to this nail salon for acrylic nail manicures since 2018. The manicurists are all wonderful. My nails last beautifully until the next manicure. It's a comfortable atmosphere, small salon, with many regular customers. I always feel welcome and well taken care of. I urge you to read the owner's reply on Shelby H's Yelp review. I wish I had seen that display of blatant disrespect coming from the business side before I tried to form a relationship with them with the intent of being a regular client. After trying everything I could think of to communicate clearly about the services I wanted during 3 separate appointments, I feel scammed and taken advantage of. This is a difficult place to truly receive the services you've traded your hard-earned money for. Don't make my same mistake. They don't listen and pretend to not understand what clients are asking for, then they apply whatever products they want to. I've talked with friends who get their nails done regularly and have also read in many places online that this is a common tactic to cut costs at cheap salons, and most clients don't know any better as long as the nails look good enough in the end. I gave them 3 chances and products that I didn't ask for were used twice. I watched the same treatment of other customers during my appointments. I'm not great with confrontation and I should have politely refused service when I saw what they were doing wasn't the service I booked and ordered. After two appointments, I'm positive they were "filling" my gel-x with straight up acrylic powder and purple monomer. NOT what I asked for and was paying for. The woman who sits at the back right nail station might be an owner or something because she seemed to check each client's nails and spoke to the other nail techs about what service to give them before those techs started working on the client. At my third appointment, she insisted what I wanted was wrong, even when I picked up a sign at the front of the store and pointed to the exact product I wanted. They just didn't want to do it, or they don't actually have it in the store. She laughed at me, kept saying I didn't know what I was asking for, and kept calling me "honey" in a condescending tone. She acted confused when I explained myself with several different approaches and when other clients tried to help her see my perspective. Trust me, the pretending to not understand was an act. I have NEVER been so dismissed and talked down to so disrespectfully by a service supplier or any other person in a place of business where I was the client. I saw her speak to other clients in a similar way, unless it seemed like someone she was close friends with. I have been on the service side of many industries and put through the wringer by clients (NOT what I was doing in this situation) but any adult with a fully formed frontal cortex knows better than to treat other humans the way I was treated. In summary, don't expect to get what you ask for and be prepared to have whatever chemicals they decide on applied to your body. The shop is not clean and the tools they use on every client aren't sanitized well. For my 3 visits, I had one ok set of gel-x, an acrylic powder fill on that gel-x set with wonky gel polish applied on top, and the last was THICK acrylic filed into an awful Pope's-hat shaped nails that didn't match any nail shape I'd ever seen before and also varied greatly across each of my fingers. The last appointment also had filing done on some nails next to wet/tacky gel nails that hadn't been cured in the lamp yet so the end result was gritty, bumpy nail finish. Had a great time at this salon! I had called ahead to make a reservation because I had a whole bridal party of girls to get done. The owner was so kind and professional on the phone, and on the day of, the communication was great! We had six girls, three did pedis and three did manis and they got them all in like CLOCKWORK! I'm so bummed I didn't get the woman's name who did my pedi because she was so so sweet! She was very gentle and her massage was amazing!! The bride was really happy with the experience which, as her maid of honor, I was quite pleased! All of the girls had a great time and left looking ready for the wedding! I've gotten acrylic nails with gel put on by Tina a few times now! Tina is extremely talented and has been able to execute everything I've asked for absolutely perfectly. She is also great with suggestions if I'm unsure of what I want to do! She's able to get the acrylic very thin on the nail bed so it doesn't feel like I have weights attached to my fingers. Her design abilities are amazing and she is incredibly fast as well. The other techs are also fantastic. Everyone is friendly and they create a really warm environment. The primary reason this place is getting two stars is because they do not use clean tools. I watched the cuticle snippers they just used on my hands go to be used on the pedicure next to me, which immediately had me wondering who's hands and feet they were used on before me. When I walked up to the table the area was prepped so it was hard to know if they used sterilized tools before the manicure started. I paid $50 before tax for a manicure with a buff and a manicure with polish. I'm not sure what the going rate is lately so that may be standard. This included the cleanup and a very brief hand massage with lotion. I've been to other salons where they also put a hot towel on your hands and I definitely missed that going here. The polish quality was good, and their application was good as well. Some spots could have used a little better cleanup if you are picky but overall not bad. They did do the thing where they leave a little without polish on the side of the nail so if that bothers you then it's something to be aware of. read more

I was pretty disappointed when I saw the reviews were so good almost all 5 stars but I didn't get that service, I went in with my mom and my aunt they said they could get us in at 5:30 around 6:05 I finally got sat as there was another lady waiting that had to wait over an hour to get her nails done. ( was 6:50 by the time I finished and they closed at 7) I'm at the front of the store and my lady doesn't say anything to me, just wags her finger at me. As I sit down I notice she is on video chat and was on video chat almost the whole time she did my nails until it was coming to polish, when she was drilling she would put the drill on my nail but then look away at her phone, (my cuticles had a dark red line my mom noticed after I left) I wanted regular nail polish on acrylic nails as I've done that since in middle school and have never had any issues, she refused and made me get gel & I asked how much cause they had no signs anywhere so I ended up having to ask my husband for more momey, cause I was set with what I wanted. She told me " I'm the professional I know better" then said she would give me a free design (Which I never got she just finished my nails) then I get to the register to pay and she gave me a discount instead of $50 for just 1 color acrylic no designs just 1 color it was $45. My nails are crooked and my thumbs do not fully go to the side. I definitely will not be going there again. My mom and aunt has both agreed the same thing.
