If you're melanated or struggling with acne or finding the right face regimen - come see Kaiya. She's a skin expert for all profiles. I've receive massage services from several of the therapists and they are also great at pain relief and relaxation. The packages and products are elite and effective. I'm a 3 year location change customer I've brought my 9 year old for nail painting as well so bring ot book for friends and family

I had extremely high expectations for my visit. I read through the reviews and waited 2 weeks for my appt. I even booked an extra long appointment because of the great reviews! Well, that was a huge mistake. I am not sure if my massage therapist just had an off day or what but the entire visit was a major let down for me. I really had hoped to find someone who was skilled in cranial sacral work and booked out 30 minutes for that specifically in addition to my 2 hour massage . Well I don't know what her idea of cranial sacral work is but we clearly were not on the same page. In fact, I was ready to leave in the first 30 minutes. The room was cold and she had fans on; no check ins to see if pressure was ok, and no mention of use of the sauna either. I will say , the facility is very nice and welcoming but once the service began things went downhill. Yes, I should have just cut my losses and left but I did not. I also was NOT using Groupon. I was paying full price ! As you can see from my reminder, I was booked for some good stuff. My service was done and I was in my car before 1:30! And that was after the "complimentary foot soak! I don't think I got what I paid for honestly. I know she put some peppermint oil in my hair but not conditioner for sure. It took a few washes to remove whatever it was. I hate giving bad reviews but honestly this was a total waste of my money. The massage was the lightest pressure I have ever had and I asked for medium to heavy. The energy was off from the moment I entered the room and it just never got better. Expensive lesson to learn.

Lots of street parking. Her spa room is located in a shared space - a couple different business owners have a room with a shared lobby area, but each treatment room is 100% private (and privately owned and operated). My appointments have always been in the evening after work during the week, so I am the only one ever there besides Becky. Her treatment room is warm and serene, with spa music gently playing and a nice heated blanket on her treatment table. I've done both sugaring and waxing with her, and she has great techniques for both. While it doesn't bother me personally, it is important to note this space is below a hair salon with wood floors - so don't be surprised if you hear loud, heavy footsteps once in awhile during treatment. It's not bothersome, just noticeable. Becky also carries some wonderful spa quality products for sale, including natural sunscreen, exfoliant, and my favorite - moisturizing hand sanitizer. She has a pump bottle of the sanitizer on her counter, you must try it! It smells wonderful and not at all like regular hand sanitizer that smells medicinal and dries skin out.

Luckily I did bring my yoga pants and they said it was fine for me to wear my own clothes in the meditation rooms. Normally I go to Olympus, but the last few times there it was so crowded and pretty dirty. Q is definitely a lot less crowded and much cleaner. Also, I went with a friend on a groupon which you should definitely check for as I have seen them offer these quite a bit. So process is -- you check in and they give you the "uniform" -- they only have up to size 2x and it is a small 2x IMO -- more like a 1x. It is a tshirt and shorts. They also give you your locker key. Q Spa is coED but they have separate bathrooms for men and women. They only thing coED is the meditation rooms, the common areas and the cafe. So, after paying and getting your uniform you proceed to your designated bathroom/changing room area. Your locker key has a number to show you which locker you are assigned to -- the spaces for the lockers are a little narrow, but not as much as Olympus. You can either change to your uniform or you can head straight to the pools. I like to do the mediation rooms before I get wet so after changing I headed back out to the common area. There is at least one meditation room on the ground floor but the majority of them are up stairs. I am not sure if there is an elevator for someone that is handicap? But they had a salt room, a chill room, a charcoal room and a sand room -- I love the meditation rooms. I guess the only weird thing is that there were men sitting in the common areas outside of the rooms just working on their laptops -- seems like a weird thing to do in a spa! So my friend and I spent about an hour and a half in the meditation rooms and then we were ready for the sauna, the steam room and the hot tubs! They have three different hot tubs of varying temps and a sauna and a steam room. In this gender segregated area, you remove your uniform -- so like Olympus you need to be comfortable in your own skin. It wasn't crowded at all (unlike olympus where you can be boob to boob with someone). My friend and I enjoyed this section of the spa -- it was very relaxing. We were starting to get hungry and noticed the cafe opens around 11am. So we got changed back to our uniforms and headed to the cafe. I love Korean food -- I can't recall what the dish was called but it was one of those stone bowl dishes where the food is still cooking in the very hot bowl. It wasn't quite as good as Olympus but it was still pretty yummy. Service was friendly and pretty quick too. I will definitely try Q Spa again.

I used to love coming here to relax and would visit once or twice a week when it was newer, but…read moreit's really sad that I can't do that anymore. The male visitors have turned this Korean spa into a bathhouse. You cant sit in the steam room, sauna, or hot tubs, and rest because the visitors are touching themselves and each other in there. I've tried to give it a few chances recently but this has happened the whole time during my last few visits. I thought maybe if I could visit on different times or days I could find a time to relax, but unfortunately it seems this goes on all day. There are a lot of signs saying there shouldnt be any sexual contact, but they don't seem to do anything. The only safe place for the men who want to relax is the coed saunas because you have to wear clothes and women share the area with men. As a Korean, I am just so disappointed that I can't use this Korean Spa for it's intended purposes. There are bathhouses in Seattle for these things, why can't these guys go there?

In short Maybe the biggest difference I've ever seen between…read morehow nice a place looks and how good it actually is. Really great massage here in a super-humble setting. In long 7 months ago, my lovely bride had a massive stroke, and we're still working to get her mobility back to where it needs to be. After so many lifeless months, anything to get her muscles moving (even if someone else does it) helps. We've been having trouble finding massage places that accept her insurance, at least for their massage therapists (it's often the chiropractor who takes it). We decided that since the prices AND the rating here were so good, we would pay out of pocket for one and see how it goes. It's not a new building, and even the parking lot itself feels kinda worse for wear. Inside, this place is quiet and dim. Very relaxing, as advertised. Some twinkling rope lights around the acoustic sub-ceiling. There's a squishy old couch in the waiting room, and some worn wall-to-wall underfoot. The private rooms are small, and there's slow soft piano music everywhere. Lights are low everywhere. We got her set up on a table under a sheet and Leia (I hope I spelled her name correctly) went to work. She had no special training in dealing with folks with neurological problems, but knew a million ways to move joints and get flexibility and movement back. We added the hot stone massage for her feet, so she spent 120 minutes on the table. By the end she was pure jelly, just happily smiling at the ceiling. With the extra half-hour, tax, and tip, it was about $180, which is twice what I expected to spend, but it was so worth it. Driving home, she had movement in her shoulder and hand that has not been there in 7 months. Pretty amazing. She's been getting tension headaches off and on for over a week now, too, and her neck and shoulders released all of that pressure. Her hair looked quite amusing, too. :-) In fact, the place is so good she wants to keep it to herself, and thought about asking me not to review it, because it has to be 5 stars, and she doesn't want it to get overbooked. I pointed out that she might not be the only one who needed massage for more than simple relaxation, though, and she immediately said we had to get the word out.

This massage place worked on my knots that i didn't know of. The ambiance is relaxing. They have…read moreindividual rooms.

Recently I booked a massage online which was accepted and confirmed virtually. The day before the treatment, I received a call from their receptionist informing me that the therapist preferred 90 minute slots and asked if I would be willing to update my massage from 60 to 90 minutes. Otherwise they would need to reschedule me for another slot. Their other time did not work for me. While the receptionist was very friendly and polite, the reasoning that the therapists didn't want to have empty portions in their schedules felt like a bait and switch. Essentially, asking me to spend more money with the therapist to make my visit worthwhile for them. This was frustrating especially because I had already booked a 60 minute massage with upgrades. Receptionist stated this is a known issue with their online scheduling platform, which seems idiotic issue that should be fixed for a large franchise since it significantly impacts the customer experience. This is the first time it has happened, so it's possible it is a therapist by therapists preference, but be alert that they may not be able to keep your appointment.
