I recently had Ayurvedic facial done by Kimberly. I get facials every 2 months or so but this was the first Ayurvedic facial (and 1st facial at this location). I could immediately see such a difference in my skin. I had a glow that I don't have when getting "regular" facials. Within two days a scar that I have had on my cheek for a year or so was almost impossible to see. These are not one size fits all facials. My girlfriend made an appointment with Kimberly for lash extensions last week. An unforeseen scheduling conflict came up for Kimberly last minute. She contacted us right away to let us know she would need to delay the appointment by 45 minutes. What really surprised us was Kimberly's sincere apology, her acknowledgement that the rescheduling created an inconvenience for us, and offered to compensate for it by completing the service at no charge. Wow! That really showed good character and a sense of rightful accountability. This equates to...someone you can trust. We ended up agreeing to wait the 45 minutes for Kimberly. I got my first full set put on by Kim and have recently come back to her for a fill. Both experiences have been wonderful and I am really impressed by Kim's expertise and concern for preserving the integrity of my natural lashes. My lashes were applied so well and I am happy to share that they have made my life so easy when I was on vacation (they stayed on well in 100% East Asian humidity, wow!) Each time I've been to this salon it always feels like a calm and open space. I never had to wait or felt that my appointment was being rushed. I believe this is because Kim and Rosie schedule their clients so well and make sure they have time to talk to you and find out what kind of look you really want. The lashes I get feel so light weight, yet are more dramatic than anything I could achieve on my own with false lashes. It was also nice that they use cooling under eye pads to keep your bottom lashes out of the way. I've been to another place that uses medical tape that pulled too hard on my under eye skin. When I wake up all I do after washing my face is use a clean eyelash brush to make sure my lashes dry separated. Since I told Kim I wanted a more voluminous look, each lash has an extension so it even appears that my eyes are already tightlined. Rosie is an amazing eyelash artist! This is the first place I've gone to where the glue doesn't sting my eyes, she uses high grade glue. She was able to put my eyelashes on in 90 min and didn't miss a single eyelash. She also varied the lengths to achieve the glamour yet, realistic look I needed for work. The pricing for a full set was on a special and the fills are at a better price point than any other location. I just have to say she is very pleasant and efficient as well. I've only been to Lash & More once but It has by far been my favorite lash experience thus far. The shop itself is a quaint little spot that's very private which I really like. Unlike other lash lounges, you don't have to hear other people's conversations going on during your entire 1-2 hr appointment. The owner is a total sweetheart and after chit chatting with her for some time after my appointment, it's very apparent that she really cares about her business and treats it as her baby. And her work is top notch, ESPECIALLY for the price. You without a doubt won't find better. A hidden gem! I had my first lash appointment at Lash and Skin today. I have always been curious about eyelash extensions and finally gave it a try a couple weeks ago. I have never heard of Ayurvedic Facials, until Kimberly a long time Lash stylist of mine left for Spain and India for Ayurvedic school. I'm not going to lie I was a bit skeptical of having it done. I heart the energy and passion she has for esthetics, I had to give it a try. The Healing Ayurvedic facial was so relaxing, the smell of the Lavender to the turmeric in the herbs. The massage and pressure points were spot on :) When she finished and I looked in the mirror I couldn't get past the oil, holy smokes do you get a oil job! I left thinking yeah that was nice and relaxing but I don't know if i'll go back, I finally showered and cleaned the oil off and BAM my face was glowing!! I left with cleansing products she made specific for my skin, and I tell you I will never use another over the counter face cleanser again. Several people ask what I had done, and why am I glowing. Rosie is amazing beyond words! It took me sometime to find someone that was local and a wonderful. She always does such a perfect job on my lashes. Before I found Rosie, I couldn't get my lashes as dramatic and full as I wanted them (due to the fact that I wear a false lashes almost every day I'm used to very dramatic look) nobody seem to be able to do it, that was until I met Rosie. Even when I saw my friends who also wear lash strips, they were shocked when they saw her work, they've never seen lash extensions so dramatic. I have gone to Kimberly ever since she came to the old location in Seattle because I love her work! I've been getting my eyelashes done for almost two and a half years now and I would never risk going to ANYONE else.
