There was a time where I desperately tried to find a facialist last second when HeeSun was on vacation and it was a waste of money. I left looking the same as when I walked in. HeeSun looks at your skin and identifies your skin needs, she doesn't just put random stuff on your face. She takes her time, and doesn't rush like other spas that do everything without care. She extracts, steams, moisturizes, masks, and even has high tech equipment like High frequency probe to use on your face. She won't do something that won't benefit your skin. I came to her recently after I had really bad congestion and failed to extract properly, I gave myself red, inflammed, and patchy skin. She spent a good amount of time extracting the remaining spots I had failed to extract successfully and soothed, & iced my face after all the steaming and prepping. The next morning I was pretty shocked to see that even the initial breakouts I had, had disappeared and dried up. But they began to fade after only a few weeks, the entire font area that I had her shade in just kinda disappeared. Basically I paid $$$ for nothing . The reason I'm leaving 2 stars, afterwards I text back on the same number she text me on to make her aware of the situation. She NEVER responded. This year I get a mass text about coming back , again I brought the issue and again she never responded. I wanted to give this business owner the benefit of the doubt but two bad interactions can't be a coincidence. She was informative and encouraged me to ask all the questions I needed to. All the horror stories I read online were for the traditional tattoo method. Karly is highly skilled at the SofTap method. Very different from the traditional tattoo method. SofTap is noiseless, non-invasive, and gives clients the most natural look in permanent cosmetics. I got my eyebrows and lips done. Karly used a lot of numbing products so I virtually felt nothing. I almost fell asleep during the process. Karly is a perfectionist and makes sure you look natural and are happy with your look when you walk out the door. She sent me home with a care sheet and ointment for my brows and numbing ointment for my lips. After care is to keep my brows dry for 4 days then use the ointment and numbing cream for 48 hours to keep my lips moist and help with any after pain. Honestly, the only after pain is minor prickly feeling on my lips and brows. Which is essentially no pain at all. I'm def grateful I made the decision to get my lips and brows done with Karly. This spa is truly top notch, and the variety of services in this space is amazing. You truly feel like you are in Beverly Hills or something, it's that nice. I have had a few bad lash lifts in the past, and she was honest with me that there was still some damage and that she wasn't going to let the solution sit for as long in order to protect them. Brittany had reached out to me same day after I had scheduled my appointments online, and provided all the details on the services I was requesting to make sure it was what I was wanting. This made me feel so much better about getting each procedure done. The day of, she walked me through the process, and took her time finding the right colors. I was nervous about going darker on the lips at first, so I went with a lighter color. She put plenty of treatment on the brows and lips, and felt no pain during each procedure. She also checked in on me frequently to make sure I was doing ok. Immediately after, there was very minimal swelling which went away within 24-48 hours. I recommend following the healing directions she hands out at the end with the care kit she provides. I was so happy with my results, she totally nailed the look that I wanted!!! I did get complimentary touch-ups with the combo packages I chose (which I also recommend). She was flexible on the scheduling, and I decided I wanted to go darker on the lips. Brittany was totally accommodating to all my wants and needs, making sure that I was happy. She also checked in with me after both visits to follow up with any questions I had, and to make sure my healing process was going smoothly.
