Dear anyone who is ever interested in getting lashes, brows, wax and sugars, facials, fillers, contours, microblades, manicures, and pedicures, or any of the services offered by Vanity, here's my advice: get it done RIGHT the first time here!! I've been coming to Vanity for nearly four years, at one point, making a 4-5 hour car trip each way, just to get the service and quality of product here. I'm still not that close today, traveling an hour each way, but I don't bother with going anywhere else because all other places just fall short. For any service you may want, at Vanity, you can rest assured that at Level 1 or , every technician here will give you amazing results. I've tried some other places here and there over the years when I'm out of state, or gifted services elsewhere for example, and I promise you, no other place compares to here. read more

I had an actual great time getting the lashes and was comfortable. However, the $150 set of classic lash extensions I received all fell out by day 4, I counted and lost 30 single lash extensions. For that price alone I expected more longevity especially with classic lashes. Definitely not impressed with my eyelash extensions I got at the Vanity Lash Lounge. It's been less than 12 hours since my appointment and I've already had four lashes fall out on it's own. I went to sleep last night and adhered to the no water for 24 hour policy only to see that four individual lashes have fallen off this morning when I went to use the restroom. These were the lashes alone so I assuming that they were applied incorrectly with glue. I've been to many lash places in California where I'm originally from and this was my first lash boutique I visited in Seattle but I'm disappointed with their work. When I met with Bri I told her that I wanted natural looking lashes and we agreed that my longest lash would be a 12 curl. After she finished her work in 2 hours, I see that my lashes all looked the same length. I was hoping for a mixed set where 10,11, and 12 would be incorporated but it appears as though that she stuck the same length for each lash which definitely doesn't look flattering. I don't think I'd come back again to Vanity Lash Lounge despite their solid reviews. I'm actually hoping that these lashes fall out on their own quickly now. read more

Don't offer evening appointments if you don't want to fulfill them. I didn't even manage to have a service here and still they earn a 1 star review. I used their online system and booked a 7pm sugaring appointment in three days time. There were earlier appointments available, but I work full time and have a toddler, so I wanted the evening appointment since it fit best in my day at the last minute. The day after I booked, I got a call asking if I could take the 6pm slot instead. It wasn't ideal, but I agreed. The next evening, I get called again. 'We had some cancellations, would you be interested in coming in earlier?' I told them no, I specifically wanted the evening appointment. Again this morning, the day of my appointment, I get a call 'we had some cancellations, can we move you appointment up?' Absolutely absurd, i told you no like 15 hours ago. I understand it can be frustrating for an aesthetician to have large gaps in their schedule, and to not want to work late, but if that's the case, just don't offer appointments that late. I told them to just cancel my appointment since I had no interest in giving them my business after they kept pushing the same thing I had said no to. Just bad bad customer service. read more

My gel manicure was done by Diana. She took her time and even offered to do an accent chrome nail on both hands. When my cuticle started bleeding from the removal process she stopped the bleeding faster than any manicurist I've had before. When I say this is the best manicure I've ever had, I mean it! I cannot find a single flaw in my nails and she wrapped the polish all the way around, leaving no bare nail to be shown. I've had that problem at salons where they tell me it's not possible. However, Meghan, the owner of Mill Creek Vanity Lash Lounge personally reached out to me almost instantly after I have posted my feedback. She apologized for my bad experience and wanted to make it up to me. She was very nice and polite, and what quite surprised me she even offered an eyelash appointment personally with her. Being an extremely hairy/self conscious guy I went in for my first chest wax ever. Boy was I in for a surprise. Upon entering the staff greeted me immediately and was super kind. I got a lash removal, got home not only to see all the material used to remove my lashes ON MY LASHES, with white residue on them, I have a burn on my right eyelid. I still have the residue on my lashes and it will not come off. Can't even wash it properly due to the burn & discomfort when I try. Aside from that poor customer service. read more

I have been a long time customer at Vanity but am reviewing based on my experience with the salon today. Unfortunately one bad experience has ended my doing business with them. I called last week and scheduled a full set of lashes for today. I had a pre-paid fill on my account from a package I'd previously purchased, but was going to pay cash today. I was not advised of any change in the norm for today, like the fact that the entire town center complex was going to be closed down to vehicle traffic for a parade. I arrived 15 mins prior to my appointment and found all entrances blocked off. I called the salon to ask what customers were supposed to do for parking. The girl told me that they had some techs who were arriving late for the same reason, but that I should just drive around and find a gas station to park at then walk from there. I drove around the town center looking for side lot parking but everything was all full. By this time, if I had parked and walked from the closest possible point, I'd be at least 30 mins late. I received an e-mail confirmation that the salon had charged the pre-paid fill from my account (I assume since they didn't have a valid card on file to charge me the full service price). I do understand the cancellation policy, but feel that the salon should have taken steps to inform customers that they would not be able to arrive in vehicles during certain hours of today due to the pre-scheduled event in the town center. I will never return to the salon because of this experience. read more

Julie is just incredible. Woman of much experience and humble as ever. I've never had so much fun getting my nails done and got exactly what I wanted because she is amazing like that. She educates herself and her clients which I value very much. She also has the latest styles and techniques. It may be a little spendy-er than your average nail salon, but to me it is well worth the money and there are ways to get discounts toward next service. I don't have to worry about holding my breath to see if nails are going to turn out well or not. I used a Groupon to upgrade a shellac manicure to Hard Akentz Gel and I loooove it! I work in Healthcare so I am constantly washing my hands and sanitizing with harsh chemicals. This stuff is what hair dressers use because they too are always using their hands with harsh chemicals.
