I booked a lash appointment at the Edmonds location after seeing a 40% off promotion. I was excited for the opportunity and scheduled with Lindsey, who was very kind throughout the appointment. However, there was a miscommunication regarding the style I wanted. I had requested a cat eye set with the longest length (12 mm) at the outer corners and shorter lengths toward the middle and inner corners. Despite showing a reference photo, the final result was a uniform 11-12 mm length with a D curl throughout, creating a much more dramatic look than I had intended. I didn't feel comfortable expressing my concerns at the time, so I went to the Lynnwood location to see if anything could be done. I was warmly welcomed by Erica, who was understanding and willing to help. Since it was near closing time, I was told a manager would follow up with me regarding possible solutions--whether that be a partial refund or a no-cost correction (such as a partial removal and reapplication to adjust the lengths). Unfortunately, I never received a follow-up call, so I contacted the manager myself. When he returned my call, he informed me that both Lindsey and Erica felt the set matched the reference photo--something I respectfully disagreed with. He stated that refunds were not offered, but agreed to provide a complimentary partial removal and length adjustment. However, the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional. The next day, I arrived for the appointment as scheduled, only to find that it had been booked for just 30 minutes--far too short for any meaningful correction. Erica was helpful again and suggested I do a full removal now and return for a full set (which I would pay for) or wait until my next fill to make the desired changes. At that point, I decided to leaving the lashes as is and move forward with a fill at a different salon where I had already booked an appointment for a few weeks later. Overall, while I appreciated the kindness of the lash technicians, the experience with management was disappointing and did not reflect the level of service I had hoped for. Today was my third time trying a lash lift and tint. I don't have much lashes to begin with. I've got really thin lashes too. I've tried a different technician each time and unfortunately, I wasn't happy about something with my past experiences. I felt like I had beginners do my lash and others made me feel like I got mediocre service. But today, I got Lily and she's a technician 3 and so amazing! She was friendly, introduced herself right away, didn't hurt my eyes, and color matched the tint with my eyes which made my eyes pop! She even recommended that I purchase the lash serum. I booked an appointment at 11:15 AM to get my lashes. I Spoke to someone 3 different times. when I arrived at my appointment at 11:10 the lash tech canceled because she had to leave at noon. She could've offered a 30 min fill but told me she would have to reset up her station then told me she would do half my lashes and someone else would do half.. I've been coming to Vanity for nearly four years, at one point, making a 4-5 hour car trip each way, just to get the service and quality of product here. I'm still not that close today, traveling an hour each way, but I don't bother with going anywhere else because all other places just fall short. This is an update from my previous review from my appointment on April 6th. After posting my review, the store manager, Megan, responded almost immediately offering for me to come in and get a complimentary lash removal as well as a new set of lashes by a senior stylist completely complimentary! They got my appointment booked right away, and the gentleman that answered the phone was very pleasant and didnt make me feel like is was being a total "Karen" for complaining about my experience there.
