Had she had made it clear on her website that she is against vaccines and the science behind them, I would have never made the appointment. Aside from her blatant disregard for public health, Cassandra was extremely rude to me. I left just a few minutes into it because I was so uncomfortable. I'm not sure if she was being particularly rude to me because she could tell I was uncomfortable from her not wearing a mask/her sign or if she treats every customer this way. I've never been spoken to the way she did by a 'professional' in the beauty/health/wellness industry. It was as if she was mad at ME for being there! I thought maybe I had booked the wrong thing online, so a minute into her brash line of questioning I apologized and said, "oh I'm sorry I thought I booked a consultation," she responded in a condescending tone saying, "I know-this is me consulting you." It's concerning that this person is claiming a 'science based' approach to her work when it's very clear that she is not aligned with the scientific community. My stylist genuinely listened to what I wanted, which I really appreciated. I do have blonde hair that tends to turn brassy very quickly, and unfortunately that happened again after my visit, which was a bit disappointing. I also felt like a lot of product was used in my hair, which came across a little like a push to purchase more products -- that was really my only negative. That said, my haircut was absolutely perfect, the prices are reasonable, and I would definitely go back. I'm confident that with a bit more conversation next time, we can get the color just right too. Overall, I'd recommend giving them a try!
