I really wanted to like this place. I got the girl I wasn't so into again. She does shellac very thin. And she files your nails afterward, which breaks the bond! A couple days later and my manicure is all chipped. The place itself is a little confusing. The nail polish bottles are everywhere. You have to walk all around the front to look for a nail color. It's pretty awkward. As for shellac, they have a lot of options which is great, but they hand you 4 rings FULL of nail colors and kind of rush you to choose. The worst part is I saw the owner chit chatting away. She's obviously very close to her customers, and I know from experience that she gives a beautiful manicure. Looked like she was a couple days away from maternity leave. So I will not be back. read more

I have been seeing Cristina for 8 years, so happy for her to move back to Cali to be with her family....but super bummed about finding a new nail salon. I tried a couple places but Cristina's is real convenient for me. I went a few days ago and Tran did my nails, they were a complete mess. I've been coming here for about a year, after it being recommended to me by my coworkers. I'm always able to get right in, which is perfect since I come during my lunch time. They have a great selection of gels, dipping powders and regular polish. It is always clean, and they've taken a lot of safety measures to keep clients and staff safe during this time of covid. I also like that they give you your own nail file and buffer to bring back with you, this cutting down on needless waste. The ladies are always friendly, and recognize you when you come in. This is one of the nicer and cleaner salons I've been to. I was impressed with their many gel polish options. They also took care in carefully and properly removing my standing gel manicure. Small, nice, cute and clean salon. I saw something online and wanted to do something similar and Cristina new exactly what to do. She was patient and helpful. The two bad things were when the glue touched my skin, it burned. Idk if my skin was allergic or something but that was just my experience. Also, two pieces of lint got into my polish and I couldn't get it out because the polish had already hardened. But other than that my nails look pretty perfect. read more

So I got on yelp and investigated places. The reviews were spot on the girls were all so helpful and did just as we asked. We usually get hand drawn stuff and they did exceptional. The owner and another girl were simply perfect. My sister is very particular about her nails and after losing her usual lady (Annie) and Everett luxury the quality of work was horrifying. Christina even remembered her from many years ago from another salon. Now thats customer service. We have found our new shop. Only thing i would suggest is its only a small shop so id make an appt. I have had all three nail techs and they're all great. My favorite, though, is Huong. She always shapes and polishes my nails to perfection, and whenever I see her I don't need a fill for 3-4 weeks! Was very underwhelmed. Came in for shellac, everything was very rushed despite having no line. The end result? Rough edges, unclean lines at the cuticles, even little spots on the skin around the nails that went ignored. Once out in the sun I actually had to walk back in and have them file the edges on a few. And I'm not a picky person at all! I took the reviews on Yelp hoping to find a place closer to home, but back to my favorite in Mukilteo. Maybe I'm just spoiled by their service. :/ read more

This is an amazing salon! These ladies are so personal and I appreciate that I'm not just another number to them. They did a wonderful 20 min leg massage and talked to me the entire time. Tran was my technician and she was so sweet to talk to, and she did a great job on my nails, she made sure to really take her time. I came here while I was in town and got a regular pedicure and a manicure with shellac. Both were done incredibly well. It's been three weeks and my shellac is still perfect. I loved it when I left and I still love it now. It's an incredible feeling when you dont NEED to redo polish or get a completely new manicure every week. I wish I could go to this salon everywhere! Walked in at 2:00pm and I was in there waiting to finish till 4:00pm. If you are looking for a long time at the salon this is your place. I wasn't too happy about the quality of the nails either. I gave it a 2 because at least the finished in time- I had to say I needed to leave before they started to get a move on. I've gone here twice so far, the first time i was happy (even after she yanked on my hand several times trying to tell me "I was too stiff...". Besides that, my nails looked good. The second time I came in for a fill and a pedicure. Different nail tech. The nail salon was empty, but I felt extremely rushed to pick a color. They got me in the pedicure seat and gave me a bunch of colors to choose from. I picked one and they started to work on my hands while I was still getting my pedicure. This resulted in me trying to stretch my arm across so she could file on my nails. The pedicure was not relaxing in the least bit. For my nails I asked them if they could draw a cat design from a picture i had on my phone (for October) she said "oh yeah, I can do that!" She tried out the design, but honestly it looked nothing like the picture. I politely asked if I could just have a solid nail color on that nail instead, she insisted on trying again, so I let her, and once again, it looked nothing like the picture. I told her I would prefer the solid color. She begrudgingly painted my nail solid pink. In the end, I was really unhappy with the shape of my acrylic nails because they were all uneven lengths and thickness. She has obviously rushed through my nails. I ended up getting them re-done at another salon because they looked so bad. I tried to give this place a couple chances, but don't think I'd ever come read more

I can not tell you how horrible my experience was with the salon. The woman who is in the third chair does an incredibly horrible job, no attention to detail and basically acted like she didn't care how your nails turned out. So I requested to have the woman in the first chair do my nails because she cared about the job that she did. Apparently this bothered the lady in the third chair so much that she lied about my appt time and then lied about calling me. When I went in for my appt time the lady in the third chair said, "She is busy now, your appt was at 12:00." ( I called at 10 am to verify my appt time and was told 1:00.) I looked at their books and my name was erased and the word Anger was written in. I just said, "that's ok, I will go somewhere else." Seriously, do not even waste your time going here. Christina is no longer the owner, these two ladies bought it. I just wanted to add that Kelly in the first chair was very nice and did an incredible job. I GOT AN INFECTION FROM THIS PLACE!!! My friend and I came in here one Thursday for a mani/pedi. We wanted to have nice nails for our upcoming vacation. We loved the place! The girls were nice, the place was clean, and they did a pretty good job. When the lady doing my pedi was cleaning up my cuticles she went a little too deep and it hurt. I was very impressed with look of my mani and my pedi but the incident with my cuticle really hurt! After leaving the salon I went to my yoga class and my toe kept bothering me. At class I took a closer look...upon inspection there was no blood or visible sore, it was just tender, so I just went about my day. While on vacation it grew increasingly more painful. When I came home that following Wednesday it was really sore and red so I bought some Epsom salt and soaked my feet. The next day I got up and my toe was worse! I went to the doctor that night and was diagnosed with paronychia and placed on antibiotics. I went in to Cristina's on Friday to have my finger nails re-painted with a new color I had bought on vacation. I thought since the salon was empty it would be a good time to let her know about my toe. I figured that she would want to know what had happened. I was very kind and pleasant to Cristina when I mentioned to her that I got an infection from her salon. I showed her my toe and let her know I had seen a doctor and been placed on antibiotics. She acted like she couldn't be bothered by me. She said, "oh, too deep - sorry", shrugged, then went and ate something. Her demeanor was cold and her apology just seemed to be so fake. I proceeded to have my nails painted by another gail who did a great job. When I was done I was charged $8 for a polish change. I paid, tipped the girl, and left. I felt that it would have been a nice gesture to not charge me for the polish change. After all, it was my own polish AND because of her staff I ended up with an injury that's costed me the price of my copay, my medicine, the Epsom salt, and whatever bill I'll end up with from the walk in...not to mention the time spent doing countless soakings and draining pus from my toe. It's been lovely! I've never had this happen to me in 15 years if getting pedicures and I hope it never happens again. I will never return to Cristina's Nails again and I'm very apprehensive to get another pedicure ANYWHERE anytime soon. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I made an appointment here for two and a half hours before closing. Plenty of time for a fill and a pedicure. There were five people working there when I arrived and only one that was with a client (finishing up a pedicure). Well somehow I ended up in the pedicure chair while getting a gel fill at the same time. Talking about being rushed. The entire thing took maybe 30 minutes. I ended up with a big cut on leg because so little attention was paid that the person doing my pedicure missed with her tool while chatting to another employee. (I ended up getting an infection from that cut because it was so dirty which is another nightmare) My nails were crooked and some of my cuticles were bleeding. Kind of to be expected when you do someones gels freestyle while your friend is busy chatting you up messing up toenails and cutting legs with dirty tools. In the end everyone was collecting their purses and things to leave early and I expressed my dissatisfaction. Apparently I still "had to pay 160 bucks!" So not only was it the dirtiest ugliest mani pedi of my life it was the most expensive. Not including the 30 dollar co pay to my doctor, the 50 for two doses of antibiotics, or the fact that the cut was through a tattoo that is another 150 to fix. I have been here a few times since my last review, so I thought I would give an update. I wish I could give this salon ZERO stars. yes, that bad. I really wanted to like this salon because of their good prices and convenience of being so close to my home so I went back hoping it would be better. My first time back, my friend and I simply wanted a shellac polish change. The woman worked on mine & my friend's nails at the same time acting like she was in a huge rush (even though we had an appointment). When my shellac wasn't soaking off quick enough for her convenience, she began to literally rip the shellac off my nails with cuticle scissors. I wish I was making this up, but i'm not. Doing that, some layers of my nails were ripped off as well, and needless to say the shellac chipped less than 2 days later. Not to mention her RIPPING polish off my nails was painful!!! I stupidly thought i would give this place ONE last shot after that. My last visit about a month ago, I again wanted a shellac polish change. All nails the same color, nothing fancy. When the women went to rang me up, she charged me $22 instead of the normal $18 for a shellac polish change. I thought it was strange but was in a hurry to get to work so i figured they had just upped their prices. After thinking and deciding that $22 for a simple shellac polish change from a crappy salon was a bit ridiculous, I decided to give them a call. I spoke with the owner Christina, and asked why I was charged an extra $4 and she couldn't give me an answer. She said she would look into it and call me back. That was a week ago, and I never received a call back from her. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Do NOT overcharge a returning customer who has had numerous back experiences at your salon, and do NOT pretend to be looking into the issue. You just lost me as a returning customer, not to mention all the friends and coworkers of mine I would bring into your salon with me! SHAME ON THIS SALON! read more

I would really go 3.5 stars, she didn't understand what a reverse French manicure was so I had to show her on Pinterest. And it was still uneven. But, I was in a hurry with no time to paint them myself, I brought in my own polish and still gave her a tip. I recently visited with my multilingual daughter to have my nails redone. They kept breaking, so I was trying to have them fixed. Not only did the lady shave my nails so thin that they are already breaking, but they insulted my daughter's choice of style. She speaks Vietnamese. She heard your comments. If it's not OK to make the comment in English, then it is still not OK to make the comment in Vietnamese. Please work on your level of professionalism. I do not appreciate having my hand slapped repeatedly without explanation or the way my nails have been since paying for services here. I will not come back again. read more

Cristina is the best at nails and very reasonable prices. I use 'pink & white' on my nails and only someone with a lot of experience and good technique can make them beautiful and long lasting. I am very hard on my nails but they last longer than anyone else who I've had to go to in Cristina's absence when she had been traveling. She has a ton of return customers so making an appointment is a good idea. This salon is great about when you have an appointment, it means that you get to see that person at your appointed time. I've had other places where you STILL sit and wait for someone to become available, even when you've made an appointment. I always look forward to getting my nails done. I've referred many people here and none of them have been disappointed. read more

Really underwhelmed with the service here, and pretty disappointed with how I was treated as a first (and now last) time customer. I had a mani, pedi, and half leg wax. The wax room was poorly lit so I had to stand for most of the wax and then still had to help point out the sections that were missed. Mani was rushed and cuticles were barely trimmed. Pedi was nice though - hot stones were fun! During the pedi though I was brought a list of services and asked which one i wanted.... After closer inspection the list was for add-on services at an extra charge so I'm glad I didnt fall for that. But at check out, the lady said she had to charge me extra for the wax because of my hairy legs! I'm sorry, whaaaaa?! I've been getting my legs waxed for 15yrs and no one has charged me extra or commented about excessive hair, because I don't have excessively hairy legs! I'm a white girl with Scandinavian heritage - there's no hairy-legged women in my whole family tree! Just because I had to point out the sections that she missed, doesn't mean I have hairly legs. First time at this nail salon since it was the closest nail salon with pretty good reviews. I got there at 1:06 and finished at 1:45 within my 1 hour lunch break! Like most nail salons they resuse nail filers which is nasty, and with Cristina's nail salon they use brand new nail filers which is already prepackaged and I got to take it with me. Overall I like it there, Cristina finished up my nails today and did a fantastic job! I love my nails! This nail salon a recommend. read more

Horrible experience!!!!!Had an appt. and when I got there they told me to come later. She turned her back and kept talking in vietnamese without any apology. The place is dirty like crazy. The soaking sinks do not use single use plastic covers. She did my manicure standing in front of me, she did not remove the cuticles properly, she painted my nails leaving a lot of spots. Their towels are dirty and bet they don t sterilize anything.Never ever go there. Decided to go to another salon.. the place is :(((( realy unpleasant for a cosmetic service experience. read more

Previously I've had an awesome salon in Seattle do it and this place wasn't nearly as good. The shellac doesn't look as nice, she missed spots and its already chipping. When I come in with an idea she helps me tweak it to my likings and adds special touches to be sure to impress me. I drive 30 minutes out of my way to go to her. Very disappointing pair of manicures today. I am graduating, so I brought in a picture of the design I wanted, a very simple black graduation cap, from a manicure photo online. My daughter and I wanted matching nails. But first they said not to use the purple color I chose, so we switched and the new color was not nearly as good. Then, half-way through the manicure, they said they could not do the graduation cap on my daughter's nail. That was disappointing, this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. So, I opted to get a flower design instead so we could still have matching nails, which was really important to my daughter. But the sparkle topcoat they used on me was not the one I'd chosen, I couldn't understand the manicurist's explanation for that, and then, they didn't even use the same sparkle coat on my daughter as they did on me. And to make it all worse, they did *not* give her a flower, they put a very odd looking.... branch/spray coming down from the top of the two nails. No petals, no rhinestone, no.... nothing artistic, just these odd branches, like.... spaghetti noodles if anything. I did speak up. When I saw what they did to her (she's 9) I asked them to fix it, but then a third manicurist spoke up and said it was too late, the polish was dry and lotion was on so they could not change anything. I am so disappointed. My graduation nails look nothing like planned, and even the color and technique are subpar. The sparkles on my nails are uneven, the shellac dryer wasn't apparently working that well as there is a bit of smudging, and the price.... well, is is sure a lot higher than the service.
