I had some last minute down time and went for a much needed mani/pedi on a whim as this business is close to where I work. Not a fancy spa by any means, but everything was clean and the service was excellent. I thought that the price was more than fair for how lovely my hands and feet look, I had a nice pedicure and a manicure without polish (just buffing) for $45. STAY CLEAR! I was a returning customer after not having nails for 6 months, I came in and asked how much it would cost, I got exactly what I said before I even started the service. They told me $25, I got a clear tip full set one coat of REGULAR color nail polish and they had their 16 year old daughter do my nails.. At checkout they charged me $35 for no reason. I asked why and they said because I got a gel coat? Which I NEVER did. I told them at the time I would not be returning for the service provided. I came here only because I got a gift certificate for a mani/pedi. Pros: - the salon was clean, but just a little stuffy because it was hot outside and they only have the backdoor opened - workers were nice (prob a plus for me that I was also Vietnamese, no language barrier) - I got a really nice hand massage after my manicure - the application of the nail polish was even for both my pedi and shellac mani Cons: - the massage chair couldn't adjust so i had to sit through my pedi with a stiff back - the foot "massage" was basically the lady rubbing the lotion on my legs and feet, also very unpleasant because she was wearing latex gloves and made my legs smelled like latex after she put the hot towel on - I got paraffin for my hands and usually it's already scooped into their individual bags but here i had to dip my hand into the warmer pot which I don't think is very sanitary... read more

Worst nail experience of my life. I went in with a friend today to pamper myself a little before having my baby. I rarely get my nails done due to saving money, but I wanted to spoil myself a little before baby. So we went to Best Nails on Colby AVE for shellac. The workers were nice, but I noticed right away the nail polish went on kind of chunky and the cuticles were super messy. When we walked out my nails were still tacky so I thought they maybe just needed more time to dry? Well two hours later I noticed the cuticles lifting and they peeled off like soft rubber one at a time. Only two hours later. 30 bucks later and my nails look worse than when I went in with my chipped nail polish from home. This establishment should be shut down. So much for treating myself. read more

Not to sound cliche but if I could rate this place lower than one star I would. By saying this was the worst pedicure of my life is an understatement. They didn't clean under my toe nails, barely scrubbed the bottom of my feet (I still have peeling spots), I asked for them to cut my ingrown toenail and they didn't. When I got home I ended up having to give myself a pedicure to remove dead skin, my in grown and even had to peel the gel they applied off of my nails as it was not dried and already peeling 10 min after leaving. Their services are rushed and I'd be better off with my 5 y.o step daughter doing my nails. When I asked him to scrub my feet again he proceeded to apply about a cup and a half of lotion onto my wet legs and feet. To put the cherry on top they then proceeded to try and charge me $70 for the crappiest nail job I've ever received, which was in accurate based off of their menu board. When confronted they said that the price board was 10 y.o and they have the same customers all the time. DO NOT GO HERE! I would not return even if the services were free and I was paid to come here. read more

Got a shellac pedicure from Julie. She was a very friendly lady and I was the only person in the shop. Got exactly what I needed very fast, very convenient location. Shellac pedicure costs $40 but i always splurge on shellac, they always last me a least a month! Haven't gotten any manicures or acrylics done here, I'll have to try and come back. Worst shellac gel polish ever! The lady took it off after I complained, she says her name is Vicky. All while guilting me and telling me how she's been doing this for 20 years and never had anyone complain ever. The polish is black and smeared all over my toes. I specifically told her I was having photos done in a couple hours modeling jewelry around the ankles and feet. I loaded a photo of this mess, it looks awful! She repainted them in regular polish and it still looks awful. All I got was attitude. I only stopped by because I was driving from Seattle to Vancouver for my shoot and wanted nice polish for my shoot. What a disappointment. Also made me late. read more

The pedicure portion really wasn't all that bad but the manicure was awful. Before the lady would do my hands she insisted I pay for all services, it was only after she saw my tip that she wanted to engage in any conversation with me. When I left my nails had bubbles in the finish. I called the next day and returned for her to fix my nails. 8/10 nails had to be redone but before fixing them she made sure to state that one mess up was my fault. My mother and I came here for Mani-Pedi's before attending a wedding and we had a really great experience. The Massage chairs were very comfortable and the whirlpool water was the perfect warm temperature for my comfort. They did a really good job painting my nails in particular - which I call out because a lot of times shorter nails are harder and mine were pretty short. Terrible experience. Shellac and pedi. Shellac lasted less than 2 days before chipping and peeling (have been wearing Shellac for 3 years and don't do any rough or strenuous work and never have chips or peeling) and waited the entire time for my pedi to dry and lady said it was dry and when she put the flip Flop on it marred a couple of toes and when I pointed it out she said it was fine and refused to fix it and kept saying "it fine". Then to top it off she charged more than she quoted me. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. read more

I should have written a review the first time I was here because all 4 of my experiences were different. 2 stars is a culmination of all 4 of my visits. My first time was 5 star with one of the employees, the wait time of 15 minutes that I was advised of was accurate. She took care in my manicure, a received an awesome hand massage & my shellac was beautiful & lasted over 3 weeks. My second visit was more 4 star as the gal I originally saw had moved back home (to Thailand I believe) & the wife partner of the business performed my shellac service. I only had 1 1/2 hours & with 4 people in process & 2 ladies working I thought maybe I should come another time. I was assured, no problem they could get me out in time. Unfortunately my service was shortened, the shellac was less than perfect & only lasted 3 days before it started peeling. OK, my bad for not having more time. So let's give it another try. My 3rd visit the owners husband was back so I was tag teamed by them both. No employees present besides them. She was less talkative & there was a uncomfortable feeling in the room. Unfortunately my shellac only lasted 2 days before the peeling began so that sent me back. I wanted both hands redone but the husband would only approve the peeling nails so I started showing him more issues so he redid 5/10 nails. He was NOT happy about it. No apology & believe it or not was rough with my hands, constantly giving his wife the stink eye. Then his wife applied the shellac, she apologized several times maybe because she saw the yelp app open in my phone or maybe because her husband acted inappropriately. She explained that she always has a peeling problem with this grey color, even purchased new bottles w/the same problem. I asked why she didn't advise me of that & have me choose another color if not the first time than at least this time. Because isn't this peeling going to happen again? I recommended she remove that color as an option but I don't think she understood. When I left I knew I would never return & as I thought at the end of this visit, my nails peeled the next day. My advise, the husband needs to find a career that doesn't involve customer service & how about letting up on the wife dude! read more

This place is awesome. It's the only nail place I will go to. They are clean, professional and know exactly what I want. For example, I went in today to get a manicure and a pedicure for my wedding. I wanted jewels on the toes, she knew exactly what I was talking about and didn't charge me anything extra to do a design on my toes. She then carefully took the time to line the jewels up on the white line of my French pedicure and make sure they were even. I just can't say enough good things about this place. Went in for nails for wedding - they told us it would only take 90 minutes because I had a time table, but it ended up taking over 2 hours, which was frustrating. They were nice enough, no complaints there, but their french manicure job was terrible. The lines were so uneven and off that I was amazed they even looked at it. I might go back if I wanted a solid color paint job, but definitely will never get another french manicure there again. read more

Walked in for a pedicure, they sat me in a chair after I chose my color, they had 2 people doing full sets (one my sister) and 1 other that got me ready in the chair. I sat with my water soaked for about 15 minutes, I finally realized they were waiting for 1 of the 2 people barely halfway done with the full sets to do my pedicure. So I told them I didn't want to wait til they were done and got up, I was expecting to be finished the same time as my sister. The 3rd person they had there (the one that got me in the chair) was about 8 1/2 months pregnant and she couldn't do mine. She said the lady doing my sister's nails was almost done. I said, I didn't want to wait til then because by the time I would be serviced I would have been soaking in the chair for about 45 minutes already. I left at 2:45 and now it's 3:01, called my sister to see if she was done and she said the lady is putting the paint on her nails now... Like really? That's not okay. If you can't service me right away then don't have me sit there for over 30 minutes until I can get service done. I definitely don't recommend this place unless you can for sure get serviced right away. That was very unprofessional. read more
