Great Nails at a Great Price! I admit I am horrible to my nails. It is more than a thousand times when I look down and realize, in the middle of polishing some groovy silverplate something, planting something, sanding something...that I really, really should have been wearing gloves...so my nail salon will always have their work cut out for them. Anthony Nails was new to me, as my favorite place was no longer in business. No pressure, I just needed a fill (and two repairs) that same afternoon for an early morning breakfast meeting. I know. My mom an appointment for herself and I. My mom was not even acknowledged and sat for 25 minutes before any service was started. After a rush job of getting her nail painted the lady jumped up to start helping another customer and told my mom that the lady working on my feet would continue the massage portion after I was done. The remainder of my pedicure took another 45 minutes of which my mom just sat there. After an hour and a half of being there and watching the owner bend over backwards for all the other customers my mom never received her massage. The owner did not offer any compensation for the crappy service only acted like my mom was out of line for sitting in the chair with no service for a total of an hour. Never going back read more

Do not go to this place! If I could do a minus 5 stars I would. Anthony gave me the worst set of nails ever. They were all different shapes and thick. He scolded me for touching my face because of natural oils?? I tried having a conversation he wasn't friendly. But when he did talk it was to tell me gel is the same as shellac. I explained I had a bad experience with gel. And again a scolding?? Feeling embarrassed I really felt like leaving at this point. I picked out a navy blue color. I asked him to reshape my nails and his response was "I try to do my best". The color he had to search for a while before he found it and it turned out be a light purple. I hated it. There was also bumps for a m nail dust under some of the gel. My pedicure was subpar. Terrible massage. I left feeling ripped off. I called him to come back and he said it was his last day. Closing shop and working for Boeing. I drive by on my way to work every day. And guess what ?!? Anthony is there and working! Lol The gel peeled off as well as my polish on my toes. The positive reviews of Anthony Nails are no surprise. The less-than-positive reviews shock me. Anthony makes appointments and runs on time 98% of the time. He and his wife own and operate the shop. It is spotless as are the tools and tubs. They are funny and caring. Most of their customers have been there 10 years or more. I've tried lots of nail shops and find that they make my cuticles bleed and scab. This never happens at Anthony Nails. Their prices are competitive. Anthony turns away people with fungus under their toe nails (Thank God!) and people who are habitually late or cancel on him. He will take walk-ins, but will turn them away if it would cause a delay for his regular customers. I hope and pray they keep their Snohomish shop open or I would freak out! read more

I have been going to Anthony's for over 7 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Anthony and his wife Mai Lee are both unbelievably talented and hard working. I was in town for a wedding, and asked for a recommendation for a good nail place. A friend recommended it, and it was by far the best set of nails and pedicure I have ever gotten, a week later, I am still getting compliments on it. The full set of nails, are almost perfection, they are thin, not bulky and simply beautiful. They speak perfect english, very friendly. All their clients were regulars, they don't have a lot of time for walk-ins because they are always booked. Make an appointment, Anthony will work you in if he can. I absolutely refuse to get my nails done anywhere else. My family has been coming to Anthony since my sister was in high school--about 15 years ago. He's always made us feel right at home and his joking, light-hearted personality makes for a great atmosphere. His wife is also a sweetheart and does a wonderful job. I would never believe that I would give Anthony Nails such a low rating, but here's why. Yes, I agree that Anthony does a good job with nails and his wife does awesome pedicures. But here's the caveat. Don't ever let a family emergency happen the same day of an appointment. I had been going to Anthony's for over six years. The first time I had to cancel an appointment was three hours prior to the appointment and due to my father-in-law being sent to the ICU at Harborview. This did not matter to Anthony. After my three hour in advance cancellation, Anthony told me I could no longer make appointments and that I would only be able to do "walk-ins". Next, while I was getting a manicure, I asked if I could come in the next day at 10:00 for a pedicure. Anthony said, "Yes, but if you could try to come early that would be best." I called on my way the next day to say that I couldn't make it early for the appointment but could be there on time. Anthony said "No". Really? Because I couldn't make it early, I wasn't allowed to keep the appointment? The next three times I tried to schedule an appointment Anthony did not respond to my texts. Apparently, Anthony has enough customers so that he can alienate one that was dedicated for six years and one time had to cancel three hours ahead and another time couldn't make it early for an appointment. If you plan to go there, just don't ever have any life emergencies as Anthony will not accept you. read more

Wonderful service! Make a appointment! My pedicure painted toes lasted for like a month and looked great. My painted nails were painted a little too far from the cuticle so from day 1 it looked like the manicure was already a week old from the nails growing out. I would be back for a pedicure but not a manicure. read more

I do adore Anthony. He is a sweetheart and sings us Christmas songs in the middle of Summer but I cannot drive all the way to Snohomish for his nail services. :( I always feel just a little too rushed when I go in and several times appts overlapped and someone was left waiting which I do not think is fair. I wish he was in a closer location with a bigger salon and a few more nail technitions (sp?). I do recommend him if you are in the Snohomish area and don't mind a wait. Have gone to Anthony for several years. Just switched. Here's why. 5 stars for nail work and location (McDaniel's parking lot). 4 stars for salon. Clean, not much personality. 3 stars for services. Limited. 1 star for customer service. Customers are handed cotton and remover and asked to "help him out". If you make an appointment, expect calls and texts to come in early. When your nails are being done, expect him to stop work to call other clients to come in early, though often they end up waiting when they do show. Don't mention that this may not be the best way to treat your clients, he will be very offended. Happy with my new salon. Definitely time for a change. read more

I recently switched nail salons from KT to Anthony nails and boy am I glad I did! They did an amazing job on my nails and Anthony promised me my nails wouldn't lift and they would still look good after 3 weeks and he was 100% right. He was very nice and I couldn't be happier with the job he has been doing on my nails. The only complaint I have is how small his shop is. There are only 2 chairs in this salon which makes is usually very busy. The prices are about $1 higher than the rest of the nail salons in snohomish but his service is well worth it. He was very friendly, made conversation and was always asking if I liked my nails and if he could change anything. I will definitely keep going to Anthony nails. read more
