I've been to MK Nails a few times now and must say I'm a huge fan! The place is clean, neat and cozy. The staff are professional, friendly and welcoming! I have tried multiple solutions for longer lasting nails with no luck - MK Nails offers Tapped (a gel solution) and waaah-la! My nails last three weeks and still hold strong! I'm an active girly and need my nails to go the distance. MK Nails delivered and with beautiful results!

I had come here a few weeks ago to get a fill gone wrong from somewhere else fixed. The woman who helped me did an amazing job so I decided to come back today. A man did my nails this time and he kept shaking and moving my hands around like implying I was doing something wrong with my fingers, which I wasn't. He was doing that the whole service. Then he started laughing as he was yanking my fingers around. Not sure what the problem was, I asked him a few times. I left feeling super uncomfortable. Not to mention, my nails look crazy. Back to trying to find a decent place.

I booked an appointment for a gel nail set and absolutely loved it! The staff were all kind and helpful in assisting me with choosing the perfect base color for the French tips. The salon was clean and bright, and the air conditioning felt wonderful! I paid $60 for my nails. I definitely recommend this nail salon and will be visiting again! I'm posting this a little over a week after getting my nails done and they are still holding strong!

Had a great experience at this nail salon. I randomly found this place while calling around for shellac pedicure prices. MK nails was probably the cheapest and had good reviews on Yelp. I made a reservation few days before actual appointment and i got nervous when he was still doing another pedicure when I walked in.. but surprisingly he had her out right at my appt time! I was impressed lol. Don doesn't speak much but he sure gets things done and gentle. The place is very clean and quiet since it seems they are only on appointment only. I think I found my new go-to nail salon! Highly recommend!

Decided to try a new nail shop today. I found MK Nails on Yelp. Been looking for a place a little closer to home. Lucky for me MK had a cancellation this morning. I made an appointment for noon and Mae was on time for my appointment! One woman shop. Great location. Near the park and Marysville new City Hall. The nail shop is in a remodeled property with plenty of parking. The shop was very nice and clean. The owner operator is Mae. Very sweet. She asked me how I liked my fills done. Made sure on the shape and color. She did an excellent job on the fill and polish. Pricing is comparable to other shops in the area. Pedicure was good but don't go for acrylics!!!!! They made us wait 2+ hours and forget about you. All my nails are different shapes and sizes. Not worth $80.

I love this place. Ive tried different nail salons after moving out of Marysville. Happily SCREAMING lol, I will be coming back to MK Nails! These guys were fast, efficient, very friendly, chatty with great senses of humor. I just got a pedicure, with upgraded services. The massage was phenomenal, prices are on par, my nails looked great and lasted! I've recommended this place to several friends and will continue. Thank you MK Nails!! And yes, I am wearing two different shoes in my picture! It was just a perimenopausal kind of day... But we all had a great chuckle because of it and the techs were VERY understanding! Lol read more

I will absolutely recommend M. K. NAILS to everyone I know. These are the cleanest and polite people with the nicest salon. I mean clean super clean and up to date. I wish I would have found them years ago. But now they are my go to for sure. I just love this little family. Definitely have personality to go with everything else. It was extremely expensive and the gel polish chipped off two nails after week and a half. Painted all over cuticle as well. When i do my nails it lasts 2 months no chip. Idk whats going on here im upset because it was $75 for their cheapest pedicure w gel and chrome. read more

Had a great experience at this nail salon. I randomly found this place while calling around for shellac pedicure prices. MK nails was probably the cheapest and had good reviews on Yelp. I made a reservation few days before actual appointment and i got nervous when he was still doing another pedicure when I walked in.. but surprisingly he had her out right at my appt time! I was impressed lol. Don doesn't speak much but he sure gets things done and gentle. The place is very clean and quiet since it seems they are only on appointment only. Acrylics are uneven and the gel has bubbles. My french tip is uneven. I showed an image of a design and my nails look NOTHING like the design. If they weren't able to do the design they should have said so. Would not recommend or go back. read more

It is rare to find a nail salon around here with anything above a 3 star rating so as I was scrolling past bad and worse, trying to decide what I'd settle for, MK Nails popped up with amazing reviews and I had to give them a try. The verdict: it really is a 5 star salon. Extremely clean, lots of colors to choose from and great staff! They were training a new nail tech so I'd guess my pedicure was not as perfect as normal but I was still impressed with the customer service, the training the owner was providing and the great gel manicure I received. The owner's husband also stopped in and was very kind and helpful, quite a pro at finding colors too! The prices are fairly normal and the location is great with easy parking. I've found my new spot! read more

I was really unsure how to review this place. I loved them when I first started going there about a year ago. The mani/pedis were always beautiful, and the staff never caused me pain. It was worth the extra cost (more than other nail salons) and the fact that I have to make an appointment every time. However, twice now I've had a lousy experience with my mani. The first time was a few months ago, and I think the woman was just feeling rushed (I think she was the only person working, and it was the end of the day). So I forgave the less than stellar mani. But the last time... I can say that I've had dozens of shellac manis over the years, and not once has a technician painted one nail, then shoved my entire hand under the UV light. For every single nail, multiple layers. Unheard of, as they usually paint all nails on one hand first. And, his "massage" bruised my arms. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I want to go back, but I can't trust them at this point. Maybe I'll try them again in the future, because they were really good in the past. read more

The man who worked on my mani/pedi cut my cuticles til I bled, made all my fingernails lopsided and different lengths, bruised my shins with his "massage" but never touched my calves, didn't clean under a single nail, and forgot polish on my hands. Will not be back. read more

After three visits, I've decided to go elsewhere. At the first visit, Tweetie did my nails. The equipment was nasty, but she did a really good job (I know....gross). During my second visit, I had an appointment with Tweetie, but another lady did my nails. She asked if I had an appointment with Tweetie, I said yes,she then proceeded to do my nails. She left them bumpy and uneven with burns all over my nail bed. This last time, I wanted to give Tweetie another try. It was Tweetie, but she made me wait over 45 minutes for my appointment. She yelled at other workers. Again, the files, clippers, and brushes are all dirty and overused. She eventually sat down to do my nails and rushed through my appointment. During my appointment, she apologized for the state of my nail beds since they had red burn lines on them from the file. I can put up with a lot (clearly), but when I leave more stressed out than I went in...nope. I go elsewhere. They're expensive, too. read more

I called during the day on Friday and was able to get an appointment for a full set for 5:45pm, which I loved that they had appointments that late where I can get my nails done after work. Ken did my nails, and he did an amazing job! It was inexpensive and much better quality than the other salons I have been to in the past. They had an amazing color selection for gel polish as well, a full bin full of color swatches! He was so gentle and didn't hurt me one bit when he was doing my nails. The service was extremely quick and my nails are perfect. I also was happy that he put me in the books for my next fill, which was greatly appreciated as I have a busy schedule. I would highly recommend coming here! read more

I popped in on a weekend and they got me in right away for a pedicure. Everyone was super friendly. The salon was clean and everything looked to be well maintained. It was hands down one of the best pedicures I've ever had. I'm 8 months pregnant and it was so relaxing. Highly recommend if you're in the area! read more

It was the worst pedicure ever this morning. I never go without tipping because I'm in the industry, but today 100% called for no tip. I feel like I shouldn't have even had to pay. She cut me on several toes, because she was looking OVER HER SHOULDER with tools in her hand cutting and filing rather than looking at my toes. She kept getting up to do other things and forgetting where she left off and skipped a whole foot. She left me there wrapped up in a hot towel and went and did someone else's entire service. I waited about 30mins with cold wet towels on my legs and someone else came eventually and polished. It was the worst paint job ever, allllllll over my cuticles with bright red polish. It was giving me so much anxiety. My feet were oily and wet and he then immediately put my sandals on and asked me to move. And he bumped two of my badly painted toes in the process. So I bent over to see how bad it was and he came back and snapped at me to not touch when I wasn't touching them and then looked up close for himself and thought they looked fine.‍ Then asked me to move AGAIN like I wasn't getting up fast enough with my big pregnant belly and slippery feet. I almost fell getting up because my feet were so slippery. I didn't leave a tip and he looked at me confused like he was expecting a separate tip for himself for polishing and also expecting a tip for the lady who rushed thru the rest of my pedicure less than half assed. I just lit $40 on fire for the most careless service ever. Do NOT come here unless you come during the week and see May. I believe she is the owner. She is the ONLY one who takes her time and cares about the service she's providing. The tech who cut me was a middle aged woman who had red hair in a side ponytail. And the man who rush polished was an older man probably in his late 40s/50s in a stripped shirt. I cannot stress how much of a disappointment today was. read more

I went for pedi and a new set of acrylic nails. First time at MK Nails. The owner May (Mails) was very welcoming. She did a wonderful job on my nails and checked to make sure they were just like I wanted. My pedi was very relaxing and I loved the massage part. May recently bought the salon and renovated it. (Previously Asia Nails). It's sparkling clean, very nice inside and her pedi chairs are really comfy. I'm going back again soon, she has a new permanent customer. read more

Horrible job, I went in a few days ago for a gel manicure. The lady I had I kept asking her to make the white tip more even, she kept painting it cricked. She didn't even clean my cuticles and polished the nails so badly. I'm bummed I paid money for this won't be coming back, and will be going to another salon to get these off & fixed. The other lady next to me seemed to do an amazing job to another client. read more

Ken was amazing!! He explained every step which I appreciated because I don't ever get my nails done so I'm not sure what to ask for. He listened to my requests very nicely and my nails sand out beautiful! I had previous bad experiences with other salons so I hadn't gotten my nails done in 3 years. Highly recommend this salon, Ken specifically!!! read more

The first time I came in was the day before my wedding after my nail tech at another salon unexpectedly canceled on me. As a walk-in, I figured I had little chance of being seen, but they had me in a chair in less than 20 minutes. I wanted long stiletto nails with encapsulated red heart designs, and they turned out absolutely beautiful. They were perfect for my wedding day! Then today, I called to see if I could get a fill and shape change. I came in at 5 PM as a last-minute appointment and was told they were fully booked and there might be a wait. To my surprise, I only waited about 15 minutes. I fully expected to keep my current design, do a simple overlay fill, and be on my way. Instead, I walked out with nails I didn't even know I wanted! When my nail tech asked what color I wanted, I told him I wasn't picky. He created the most stunning iridescent blue-green-pink set, and all I can say is WOW. They are absolutely spectacular, and I've received so many compliments already. I cannot thank the team at Awesome Nails enough. They consistently go above and beyond, even when they're incredibly busy. I'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending them to everyone who compliments my nails--which has been happening quite often lately! Thank you for making me feel beautiful both on my wedding day and beyond!

After three weeks I told my wife that I was thinking about a mani/pedi for myself and she asked me to try Angie. Glad I did. I am very pleased with how my feet look and in particular, how good they feel. WE have now tried two nail techs and both have been outstanding!! The price is right and the shop, though small has the most comfortable foot stations we have ever used.

Located along State Avenue between 2nd and 3rd streets, it's easy to miss, but turn on 2nd and park behind the building. Kimberly was friendly and extra accommodating. She often asked if I was comfortable and happy with the color (if not, she would gladly change it). It was obvious how customer satisfaction was important to her. I would give her 11 stars if I could! So I've had exactly ONE pedicure since the beginning of the pandemic, and it was awful. About 3-4 months ago I went to place on 4th and was extremely unhappy with my pedicure and polish. She went at an angle and didn't get near the cuticles, so when it started to grow out, (and it only took a few days to show because of how she painted it, my toe nails don't grow that fast!) it looked awful! I had almost given up on ever having a great, even good pedicure since I moved away from my regular place over a decade ago. Yes, it's been over 10 years since I had a great pedi! Sad, I know. Then I found May, she is awesome and does such a wonderful job! I got my pedicure done about a month ago, and it still looks like I got it done yesterday! Also, my feet haven't been THAT SOFT SINCE I WAS A BABY! And they are still pretty soft and smooth after several weeks! My partner got me an appt for the pedi as a surprise and gave me the option to do something with my hands as well if I wanted. Well, I haven't had gels ever (dabbled with acrylics two decades ago) and wanted to give it a go. I work with my hands and am very hard on them daily, I use my nails as tools and use a plethora of different cleaners and acidic solutions many, many times throughout the day, so I figured they wouldn't last 3 days tops. I was wrong, not only did they last, they looked great for a long time! If I hadn't gotten Covid and was able to go in, they would have stayed flawless in between fills, I was floored! So happy I decided to go to her, I just searched for who had the best reviews. (I don't know what's up with that one 4 star review ruining her perfect score so far, even with a picture of red nails, they are gorgeous and she even said she loved them, so why only the 4 stars Red?) lol! Anyway, my second time going to her: I often work late because I don't leave until the jobs are finished. I cater to my clients to get the job done right, and that's another reason I really like this place, she is the same way. I called ahead and she agreed to get me in late one night because I wouldn't be able to come back for several days because of work, and I needed to have them done, been planning out my colors for days and days. As usual, she did a great job and they look beautiful! I don't even want to write this because I don't want her to not be able to get me in if she gets super busy, but I definitely want that for her and she deserves the praise and the business. So don't even think, just go here. You will be happy! Did I mention she offers juice, soda, tea, and ginger ale while you get pampered? Best. Nails. Ever. read more

I had an amazing experience at this nail salon! I went in for a pedicure and spa treatment, and everything was absolutely perfect. The service was top-notch - the staff was professional, friendly, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The pedicure was done quickly but with great attention to detail, and the results were flawless.
