I moved to Arlington two years ago and have been on the hunt for a GREAT nail salon. Regardless of who referred me or where I went, I hadn't found "that place". You know, the place that made sure my nails were perfect. The place that was friendly and not rushed. The place that did what was RIGHT and not what was easiest or quickest. I found Nail Flare by accident. I was looking for a new salon and read a couple reviews and when the only "bad" thing is that they don't always take walk ins, I thought I'd give it a try. My nails look fabulous! Everything was done manually; ie, no drill to get those old nails off. She trimmed my cuticles, which hasn't always been done when I've gone for a fill. PLUS.... they aren't thick and ugly like has happened before!! I'm sold. I'll be back and will take the time to call for an appointment with Malissie before I go. read more

Twice I've walked into this establishment wanting to make an appointment. The first time no one said a word to me. The second time they weren't very friendly. I think one of the ladies said about 2 words to me? Very disappointed, I would not recommend. Poor customer service. read more

I want to start by saying that the owner of this establishment is full of care and professionalism. I first wrote a one-star review based on my bad experience at the salon and she personally reached out to me and offered to redo the entire job herself. I have to say I was impressed. I will be reaching out to her when I'm ready. Just wanted to let people know how much this owner cares about her customers experience:) over all I'm really satisfied with the customer care that she offered. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because my glitter gel nails turned out awesome. Aside from that, service was mediocre. Nail tech I had didn't even introduce herself to me upon seating me in the chair; and when it came to getting the dead skin off my my heels she completely missed doing the roughest part in the back. Being 9 months pregnant I'm not exactly in a position to be able to do an adequate job of this myself, so I was hoping that the person I was seeing would be able to. If I can still scratch my leg with the dry skin on my heel, then the point of the pedicure was missed. I won't be going back. read more

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Requires an appointment but I didn't have trouble scheduling a convenient time. The price was comparable to any walk in salon I have gotten gel manicures from but this place does everything by hand to ensure that you get a quality manicure that lasts! read more

I moved to Camano Island from Bellevue and was concerned about finding a good nail salon. Nail Flare is excellent! I get gel nails and Laura and her well trained team all do an excellent job of nail prep so the polish lasts much longer than other places. No lifting on the sides. Nataly is a real artist and can paint any design you want. The salon is very clean, all English speaking, and it's a friendly atmosphere. Although they can take walk-ins, they stay booked so I highly recommend booking an appointment well in advance. I love Nail Flare! I've been going there for almost a year. I go in every two weeks to get my nails done and usually add a pedicure every month or two. The salon is very classy and modern looking and not your typical nail salon. It is very clean and well maintained. All of the nail techs speak English and are friendly and personable. Malisse usually does my nails and is thorough and professional. I've never felt rushed there. Whereas they generally require an appointment I've always been able to schedule several at a time and they always are willing and able to accommodate the days/times I'm available. I would definitely recommend this salon to others. It's a great asset to the town of Stanwood. read more

Would not recommend this salon. The girl who did my nails was good; however, the owner of the salon has an "attitude" when you walk in....as if she's doing you a favor by even noticing your arrival in her store. The quality was good; however, the manager was a turn off to me. I did go I think it was three times; but, when they charge you to use a credit card or a debit card PLUS the attitude, I can go anywhere else to get quality material (yes, I know this salon's opinon of other nail salons' material thank you) and service with a smile. read more
