The prices are the most reasonable around, hands down. I always get French tips and custom details every time I go and it's always been $45. No hidden add on fees, no changes to the cost, just an upfront fixed amount every single time. While that should obviously be normal practice for all businesses, I have been other places where it was not the case. The atmosphere is that of a typical salon, smells like nail polish and has soothing music playing in the background. The orange oil they use smells AMAZING. You can even buy a bottle for yourself to take home for $10. This establishment is just an extremely hard working family, who value and care about their customer- and their work, and the way they pay attention to details consistently reflects that. I really can't fathom the reason for any negative reviews. I wouldn't say I am the most nit-picky or 'call the manage' type, but I am honest.. and if I didn't have a positive experience every single time, I would not be writing this review. (Admittedly, they speak English far better than I speak any other language, so certainly no judgment there.) They were happy to communicate via hand signals and facial expressions and they made us feel at ease. The place wasn't overwhelmingly busy but each employee did have a customer at all times. When my toes were done and I paid, I found that I couldn't tip without cash. I didn't have a debit card, so I had to drive to a store to get cash back. My daughter told me that, while I was away, the pedicurist said we didn't have to tip. (I only include that information because it shows how sweet they were.) I absolutely did have to tip. I know they get paid but that's for the job itself. I wanted them to feel appreciated for the special touches they put on my daughter's toes, for their pleasantness, and their color suggestions. They proceeded to give me a bowl with acetone in in and stuck my hands in the bowl. At this point, I should have just got up and left but as the lady was already working on my pedicure. The pedicure was average and she did not apply and base coat and I had to ask about the top coat. Also, no liner for the foot bath. Needless to say, this is 2 days post visit and 3 of my toenails and 1 of my nails have chipped (on average my nails last 2 weeks and toenails until the next visit). On a positive, the personnel were polite. I like to support local business and hope my visit was just an off day for them.

Lina was able to see me early the next morning so I jumped at the appointment. Lina is quiet and direct, some might find her brusque. But she really isn't, she knows her craft and has the tools and knowledge to prove it. She worked on my calluses before soaking my feet, explaining the soaking caused the skin to open up and be more delicate/painful as she carefully "sanded" down the dry skin. She had special power tools for the various bumps which were far less painful than the pumice stone treatment most spas use. I have never had calluses retreat so quickly. She also pointed out other health issues my feet were experiencing and what I should be doing to make them feel better. Her shop is small with 2 chairs and is blissfully quiet, unlike many large noisy Nail Salons. If you want a real Health Spa experience for your next Mani/Pedi I suggest you seek out Lina's Nails.
