Thanks to Stephanie for fixing my granddaughter's hair after a horrible haircut she received last Friday.

Worst experience EVER. I came to Tinys and talked with Rusty about getting help covering/fixing some work I had done. It was simple line work and dots. Rusty had brought up an armor look that was what I was looking for. Paid to book the session 3 weeks out and he said he would draw something up. I arrive 3 weeks and he has nothing drawn up. I show examples of things I like and want and Rusty shuts them all down saying "I don't want to do that." When we decide to draw something up, he made it sound like backing out sections was the only direction we could go. As he drew on my arm I tried bringing up ideas of shapes and styles that I liked. Rusty got mad at me saying I was "disrupting his creative flow," and that he needs some creative control. He drew one shape that I liked cause it was in the direction I wanted. But told him I was not liking a black rectangle he added to my existing piece. As we begin, he works towards the rectangle, I tell him "I don't want that." To where he replies "I do" and continues. Another time I should have stopped and just left but I was trying to be trusting of the artist and the process. Mostly through the experience, someone walks into the shop and it turns out to be a health inspector. As she does a walk through I over hear her asking if Rusty is registered, to which he says no. She leaves and I ask Rusty if I need to worried about that to which he says no. He continues blacking out sections of my tattoo. Then after a while just stops and says we're done. No cemetery, not even the complete half of what I have. Just stops. I ask if he could at least finish half the section, to which he does more, then says we're done. I paid what he said was the cost of the time. Asked if we need to schedule a follow up, he said no, and left. While I can live with some of what's been done, I keep looking at this black bar on my arm and remembering how I didn't want it, told him I didn't want it, and that this is the product of his "creative control." I am still looking and talking to artist in the hopes of getting the tattoo I want. I have a picture of the design I want adapted to it. But it has become increasingly more difficult to find someone to work with after the extent of what Rusty did. Further more, I've learned that the minimal line work I had before Rusty, would have been much easier to cover up or work with before it had been blackened out. Don't walk, RUN away from this place and the artist.
