Been wanting to get my tongue pierced for ages, finally was given the time to and found this shop. Love that they take walk ins! I showed up and they were able to get me in within 15 minutes. I got pierced by Rusty, super easy to talk to, and he walks you through the process which I appreciate! In total it was 70 dollars which originally I thought was a little pricey, but since finding out they use titanium jewelry it makes a lot more sense. Overall I'd greatly recommend! Would give zero stars if I could. My daughter had her ear lobes pierced by the female piercer 3 months ago. She is a child and was given very long post studs that are the size for an adult, and BUTTERFLY BACKS, which after much research I have learned that no reputable piercer would EVER under any circumstance put butterfly backs on a piercing, let alone a child's piercing because butterfly backs are notorious for causing injuries to the piercing. We've had nothing but issues with the back of her piercing looking bruised and injured so after my research I realized she needed flat backs immediately. Mind you my daughter is extremely careful with her ears. Every time she gets dressed she takes special care to go slowly around her ears, she's very aware of the piercings. She does not touch them. It's not like she is wreckless and unaware. So I went in to ask what to do and for another $70 I could get flat backs, even though that's what should have been done for my daughter in the FIRST place. At this point I was done trusting them and ordered high quality titanium earrings for her myself. Only Precision is not on the AAP website even though they claim to be the best around which is a necessity for being a reputable piercer. They are not nearly as knowledgeable as they claim they are. It's a shame they are the main piercers around, but that's what happens when you live in a smaller area. I should I have known better after multiple of my own piercings have rejected from Only Precision. Should have never trusted them to take care of my daughter. Go on the AAP website to find a reputable piercer. read more

I got sized for a hoop by a piercer in this shop. I realized a week later that the jewelry was too small and was cutting off the circulation in my ear. The area around the piecing was turning purple and there was a large indent where the jewelry was laying. I immediately took the jewelry out as poor circulation can be very dangerous long term. I understood that jewelry exchanges were not allowed due to the intimate nature of piercings but I went back to the shop anyway and kindly and calmly explained the situation. I asked if they could possibly exchange the jewelry with a larger size due to the fact that this was a mistake of the piercer (someone who is responsible for making sure the jewelry fits correctly). The woman I talked to was rude and unsympathetic and talked in a very condescending tone like I didn't understand that piercings go inside your body. They couldn't offer anything to correct their error or make up for my purple ear and said I could either buy a larger earring or get out. This tells me a few things. 1)They don't care about their customer's experience or health. 2)They also have bad piercers who can't perform basic tasks like sizing properly. Poor circulation can be very dangerous and can result in deafness. So don't go to this shop. You'll end up with a purple ear, a chip on your shoulder, and an ill fitted, useless $80 earring. read more

The storefront is pretty cramped, which means that in the time of COVID you try to get too close to other (masked) customers. But it's a popular place. And I'm not surprised. The staff are friendly and helpful, even for a piercing neophyte like me. Two of us got our ears pierced (lobes). I thought it was a bit odd when the piercer told us if we had any problems, to call him, and no one else. Very strange that BOTH of us ended up with one infected ear, even after following care instructions. I had to remove mine due to bad swelling and infection. So a good chunk of money down the drain. We followed all the care protocols and used their saline solution. We may end up with a dr visit and more expense. Needless to say, I believe something is not right with the whole process at OPP when two separate people end up with infected ears and we followed care instructions. Lost our trust. read more

Great customer service I came in as a walk in (4/20/21) everything was sanitized and they were taking great precautions during this time. The gentleman there was able to fit me for a simple ear piercing on both ears. Usually I am terrified of needles, but he talked me through it and calmed me down very professionally. I have bought jewelry here once and recently got a piercing. Both times I had the same experience--the folx are just not warm and fuzzy. Yes, this time I showed up 15 mins before close, but listened to comments from the owner about how they "almost got out on fucking time," and things of the like for several minutes which made me very uncomfortable. I'm not one to start a confrontation with people I don't know, and really wanted to get the piercing done, so I didn't say anything and figured if I was kind perhaps that would shift the mood. I must have thanked them a thousand times and still got cold stares. The piercing was professionally done and super fast and pain free (septum). During the prep for the piercing I felt completely ignored as he (the owner) insisted on talking to my partner (he/him) rather than me, the one paying for the piercing and putting a hole in my face. My first time going there for jewelry I was met with a bit of an attitude as well as it wasn't explained to me that we can't touch our faces while in the studio (I pointed/touched the stud piercing I wanted to change for a ring and was gruffly scolded instead of explaining why and just being calm and professional. Spend the extra cash and endure the wait to get in at Good Vibes. Your cash is much more appreciated there. Remember our money is how we vote--who stays in business and who doesn't. read more

I'm really sorry to have to say anything bad at all because I've been a loyal loving costumer of this business for the past 6 years but I can't even fathom what I just experienced going here recently. I can not believe I've defended the owner when I heard friends say yea but he's kinda mean about (don't touch your face) as we all know but I'd still defend him cause this place was great! Boy was I proven wrong today. I walk in and I cannot wear a mask because I have extreme anxiety and clinical depression. The lockdown and going out gives me severe panic attacks so I barely go anywhere, and I mean it I haven't been able to go to the store in the past three months. Anyways I walk in and first off the mans not even wearing a mask in there so god knows what he's doing with his hands and mouth the hours he's been in an enclosed space. He proceeds to put a clear mask that shapes around over the nose on which is quite peculiar since he said he's more at risk for it but doesn't wear the n95 mask?? I walk in and I can barely get a word out as he starts to quite harshly bark at me, you have to wear a mask. I calmly tell him I cannot wear one because of a medical condition. Which is very true I'm not saying it as a troll as I know most do. I seriously have extreme anxiety and because of it I began to physically shake. After I said that he kept barking, well I'm more at risk it's for me, which I quickly said oh I can understand that if your more at risk. The only mask in my car I do however have I said he wouldn't like (as it's the very open clear masks that strippers use to perform in Cali) so I'll put the one they have there on. He then grabs the mask with his bare hands and hands it to me... very unsanitary. These very things grabbing masks and giving them to people or not wearing a mask talking/spitting and then putting a mask on, are apart of my triggers because it's all so unsanitary to put on a mask someone just touched or be talking up a storm and putting a mask on after. He then has the audacity to tell me to sanitize after he touches my mask I'm supposed to now put on my mouth. when you walk into the store your bombarded with these square gates and flags and tape, all that really began to cause me to have a panic attack right from the start. I was trying to do what he was saying even though not once did he respect my health or needs. I tried washing my hands but I was holding my piercing cause I had come in for an emergency my piercing fell out which I've come by many times piercing in hand and all the other times they well the other employee was very gracious. I kinda said well I'm holding this how am I gonna and he again rudely interrupted me again and harshly said well your not even supposed... I couldn't hear the ending last bit cause he was under his breath and with the panic attack growing. I couldn't imagine this big scary man who's been extremely mean, touching my ears as I'm literally trembling so I walked out of the store. I know I rambled on but it's only to show that you can't assume or know what people's medical conditions are. He expected me to care for his health when he just bulldozered over mine. I was quite willing to talk it though and abide (I had planned to go out of my way and buy new piercings as a Thankyou for understanding my medical condition, as usually they put a fallen out on for free) but he kept barking at me and it was absolutely traumatizing I couldn't even fathom buying 100 dollar plus piercing after. read more
