If I can give this place 0 stars I would. The vibe of the salon was not what I was expecting at all. I requested a gel pedicure for my service. They didn't have any sanitation stuff around the pedicure bowls and they literally had me sitting at a manicure chair to get my gel polish painted on. On top of it they didn't clean the bowl I just had my feet in for another customer, and my pinkie toe has been tingling. I called to see if i can get a refund and they said for me to just soak my foot in warm water; no empathy or anything. And to top it off the place smelt like cigarettes so bad I was about to throw up.10000 out of 10 would NOT recommend read more

Loved our time spent there the ladies were friendly and very good! We will be back! Every two weeks!

I've been coming here for months ,and after today I will never be coming back .I sat down and the lady asks me if I like long or short and I said long and then she asks coffin or square and I said coffin.everything's going fine till she cuts the nails and I said they're too short, like wayyyy to short and she goes oh sorry and just continues to put the acrylic on .I was thinking okay I've NEVER had my nails this short maybe it'll be ok.NO they look rediculous I was obviously very upset with them .I didn't even have her put the color on .and she still made me pay 35$ for these hideous nails.so now I'm going to have to go somewhere else to fix them and pay another what 40 $ maybe more if they charge to take them off.right before Christmas. So messed up read more

I've been coming here for a few months now and I can tell I will be coming back here for years to come. Skill and attention to detail - Home run. My nails are always straight, even, thin (but not too thin), usually pretty smooth, and the shellac almost never bubbles. They really do care about perfection even though they do it in a surprisingly short period of time. Selection - They have an enormous variety of Shellac colors and powders: ombré, filigree, holographic, "furry", you name it. They are also great at design work. Customer service - These guys are so friendly and they aren't faking it. They always make conversation and remember who I am/what I do, etc. They always ask about my preference on length, shape etc. They don't just assume even though I've been going there a while, but they do remember what I've done in the past. If there is any problem with this place, it's that they are so good that they're always busy. So call ahead, and be prepared to possibly come back later if you drop by for a walk in. read more

Always my favorite go to for a great quick last minute manicure. Very clean and efficient.

was looking for an ambitious nail tech and Tony delivered. I like to every now and then change it up. I had a pin & he nailed it. The Pinterest post was white matte shellac and outlined in black. I chose navy blue to be different. I was happy with the results. He's a keeper! read more

I went here with my friend and sister and they rushed us so much all of our nails look like crap. Mine are all different lengths. Some of the colors aren't their. They cut my sister and friend and put nail glue on top. I am very unhappy. I would not recommend coming here. They also have a very sketchy back room. read more

My husband wanted to go with me for a Mani/Pedi somewhere around Smokey Point before we went further south to Seattle. This place was rated 3.5 stars so I told him we should try it. We pulled up and I'll admit we agreed it looked sketch AF. However, we went in, they made time for us right away, their services were excellent, and both my husband and I decided we will definitely go back. read more

Crystal did a fabulous job on my nails. She did exactly what I asked. I will definitely go back!

I went against better judgement and still was like at least give this place a shot. So before anything I learned from reviews to call and set an appointment. I was told on the phone I could walk in so I did just that. 10 mins later I arrive and I said hi I was told I could walk in over the phone.. I'm going to assume the gentleman up front was the person I spoke with on the phone because the disposition and tone was the same. However in person he says we're busy. I literally saw one woman just picking her nail polish. So before getting upset I ask can I set an appointment he says no we're booked today. Im still baffled because I see no one, that doesn't mean there are later appointments but you have 3 techs sitting upfront eating plus you sooo no one can take me for a filling... he gives me a card tells me to call set an appt... lol so I had to prove to myself I wasn't crazy. I went to the car called again and I'm literally watching this man answer the phone yet again and he tells me no need for appointment you can walk in.... Lmaoooo MORAL OF THE STORY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE SMH!!!!! Shame because it looks like good work gets done but there could be some disconnect on communication. read more

I used to love this place, but after my most recent visit I'm kind of disgusted. My overall experience was quite poor, sadly. I was greeted with a less than pleasant attitude and nearly scoffed at for bringing my own polish. I had made an appointment for a single pedicure, because normally this salon is packed on Saturdays. Today was not the case. I was seated early, which was nice. My pedicure water was cold, even after asking the technician to adjust the temperature. The padding in the massage chair is completely worn out, so the seat was really uncomfortable. During my pedi, the girl was really aggressive with the pumice stone scrub - which looked less than clean to begin with. I'm no expert, but you don't need to scrub the arch of my foot. The skin there is pretty soft as it is, thanks. She was scrubbing everywhere but the places that needed it, so I finally just asked her to stop. Next up, massage. Again overly aggressive, digging her fingertips into my calf and down my shin. Eventually she rubbed so much/hard the lotion had entirely disappeared and it was rubber glove on skin. Not pleasant. Again, had to ask her to stop. Shortly after that she painted my toenails. No complaints. Then, escorted me to the drying area. GROSS. The floors need a serious deep cleaning and I was hesitant to walk barefoot across them. I sat at the drying station, and with nothing more to do started looking around. This is worst part of my review. I was absolutely mortified by the state of the carpet, and the corner of the salon near the drying area. Absolutely disgusting, obvious mold, and a chunk of the wall rotted away. The carpet had obviously not been vacuumed anytime recently, there is no way that the level of gunk on it came from the two hours they'd been open for the day. Never again will I return. Sorry, but there are much better salons in the area that are well kept and much cleaner than this. read more

Went here with a friend. They were able to get us both in at the same time (we had been turned away from another salon prior to coming here, even though they didn't have a single client in the salon and we had been there several times before). We selected to "Top Pedicure" and it's worth it! My girl gave a good massage, my friends guy gave a GREAT massage (next time, I'm going to ask for him instead). They play music which is great! They are very friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is that my water was ice cold and I had to ask them twice to warm it up :( I don't like being high maintenance or drawing attention to myself so my friend asked for me the second time. I'll be back though. read more

Pros: Very sweet ladies. I really love my nails they shaped them perfectly. And the design is better than expected. Pedicure massage was very nice. Cheap prices, I got a pedicure, fill with design and wax for $48 Cons: extremely dirty. Bugs and ants in the bathroom and salon. I not once saw them Clean pedicure bowls. My massage chair didn't really work. They bounce back and forth between clients and I don't like that. I'm paying for relaxation. Stay with me. I got a wax and the wax room was gross. Hair on the stuff and wax on the walls. I definitely won't go back. read more

Pros: friendly, very inexpensive (only $30 for pedicure with design), nice long massage and they did a wonderful job on my design! Cons: run down, I only saw 4 licenses and there were at least 6 people working, I'm skeptical about their hygiene practices, all of their implements seemed clean enough though well worn and I don't think they sterilize between clients, maybe at the the end of the day? I would love to give them a higher rating as I think the quality of their work is good, however the cons are a bit too heavy in weight, cleanliness matters. read more

I have been looking for a new nail place for a while. I've read the reviews and thought I would give this place a chance. My husband and I had stopped in for some pedicures. They were pretty busy so we were asked to come back. We scheduled appointment for the same day. We came back and both got pedicures and manicures. I don't know who our technicians were but they were great. This is the best foot massage I have ever had with a pedicure. They took the time to ask if I was comfortable, if it hurt, if I needed more or less. They really asked questions and listen to what I had to say. I moved onto my manicure while my feet were drying. This again was by far the best manicure I have ever had. I have recently quit chewing on my nails so my nails are small and brittle. My technician did a great job at listening to what I said and how I have had bad experiences with manicures. My nails are short just like I like them. I hope when I go back to fill them that they will have lasted two weeks. I will update my review then. My husband really enjoyed his manicure and pedicure, love the foot warmers. My husband really enjoyed that they do a great job at massaging both hands and feet. read more

Truly the best! Great work on nails with hand massage at the end. Crystal is so kinda and does great work. This place is my new go to.

I come here every 3wks to a month. At first I would regularly go every 2wks, because I thought was normal. They taught/explained to me that I don't need to come that often and all I am doing is tossing money away. I appreciated that they care enough to say something. After having to walk out of the "nail salon" inside the Arlington Walmart cuz they tore my daughter's fingernail off (when all we asked for was a fill in the first place), I quickly searched YELP to find a close salon with decent reviews. We found Best Nails & they not only repaired her wrecked set of acrylics, they looked far better when finished that we ever could have expected! The friendly staff got us right in, re-applied the nails that the previous "salon" RIPPED off, & finished them perfectly! I would recommend Best Nails to anyone in the Smokey Point area! Thank you for fixing someone else's mess!! read more

I was recommended to this nail salon from a coworker. I am extremely picky with how my nails look. I'm pretty much seeking for perfection at all times and will continue to look for a salon that will provide that for me. As far as this nail salon it's looks are average, nothing fancy, but is kept clean. The nail techs speak good enough english(I point this out because I have been to places where their English is so broken, I've had to leave. It's fairly easy for me to understand majority of the time because my mom is Filipino & has an accent). Anyways, my first visit with was about a 1.5 weeks ago I went in, was immediately greeted and then I started to look at the polish. After some time of going back and forth I was offered to look at their collection of shellac colors. I've never gotten shellac and figured why not. Finally chose a beautiful vampy red. I had them put on a new set because the previous set was HORRIBLY done, glue under nails/ two broken nails(I've never had this issue), just plain yucky. I don't like the way she was talking my nails off, she tried to be as gentle as possible I could tell but it hurt like a mother f'er. She was literally just cutting it off and slipping a nail under the acrylic and pulling it off of my natural nails. Not cool. Anyways, after that everything was perfect. She gave me guidance as to each step that she was doing. This isn't my first time getting my nails done, but it was nice to have her explain her methods. My nails are shaped EXACTLY how I love them to be. I usually go home and reshape my nails because typically it isn't shaped the way I like them to be. After all this, I do recommend this place. I will continue to visit them & will review my visits. read more

I called to see if they could get me in on a weekday. The woman who answered said yes they could squeeze me in at 6:30 and that they closed at 7:30. I was a little surprised that they agreed since I was getting a pedicure (shellac) and a manicure (dip). I showed up at 6:30 and told the woman what I was there for. She seemed annoyed but agreed to squeeze me in. They stared soaking my dip off which was maroon and soaking my feet. She told me that they couldn't do French on my toes because I had a bruise on my big toe so I switched colors. I picked a light pink but was worried how pink it would be on me. Sometimes the sample colors fade. She said that is was not really pink. The gentleman that was working on my toes was able to make the French tip work and did a wonderful job. I was then sent over to another gentleman to get my dip removed and redone. He was in a hurry so he used the dremel to grind the remainder of the dip off. I don't typically allow this because my nails are super thin which is why I get the dip. I allowed it this time because I felt pressured about the time. He did a rush job and my nails weren't even shaped the same and the dip was different colors. I left feeling frustrated and determined to schedule better next time. Within less than 24 hours one of my nails broke in the center. I went in right away to show the owner and she said it would be a forty five minute wait to fix. I decided to come back the next day because I had a conflict. By the time I returned the next day I had three more broken nails. The last set lasted me three weeks. She had the same gentleman help me and he once again tried to use the dremel. It hurt so I made him stop. He got frustrated and left me to sit until the owner could help me. I realized my nails (dip) was breaking because he filed them to thin with the dremel. I spoke with the owner and she agreed to put an extra coat on. It was an okay job but the colors still didn't match and she didn't make them even. She charged me $5 and didn't apologize for the fact that her employee filed my nails so thin that it would most likely take months to grow out the damage. I was really excited and was going to post a positive review after my first appointment but the bad service I just received totally negated that. My thumb nail broke a day after the repair work was done and I didn't have the patience to go back. I currently have a bandaid on it until I can find a new place. Crystil read more

Love this place! Been a customer for 3 years now! Crystal is amazing! Always good to my kids when I have to take them with me.

I know many people here are happy with this place. But I am not at all. I asked for a specific shape and they did the regular straight like usual. Im having a hell of a time finding a place that can do acrylics with a natural curve. I thought they had it then as they began to file away they filed the curve right off. I decided not to make a fuss. But 24 hours later 2 nails broke. I went in got them fixed and as I was leaving another one broke. They refused to fix it for free. I was less than 2 days from a brand new set. And now 3 broken nails. I didnt have the money to fix it right then so I figured id come back and 2 days later 4 more broke. I will never go back there again. They are great for designs but not acrylics. read more
