In long 5 months ago, my lovely bride had a major stroke and still doesn't have full strength back in her left arm. She really loves getting her nails done as part of her usual routine, and looked long and hard to find her favorite regular place. That old favorite place of hers is always really busy, and, unfortunately, were not very patient with her needing someone to come with her and hold her left hand in place for the tech. So she got a rec from a dear friend, and gave Queen a shot. They're amazing. They were so kind and patient right from the first time she rolled in, and made her feel completely welcome. She had an easy time finding colors she liked, and no problem discussing different styles. She was super pleased to find out at the end that they cost about 40% less than her previous spot, too. Yesterday she went in for an overdue nail job, and the tech not only greeted her warmly but had clearly noticed that she hadn't been in, and asked all about how she was doing. This was only her 3rd visit, and she felt like a regular they really loved having come in. They have about half a dozen mani stations, half a dozen pedi stations, and a waxing room in the back. It's not the biggest operation, nor the most luxurious, but the quality of the work is there, and the feeling of community is wonderful. And there's killer Mexican food right next door, too. read more

Came in for a manicure and pedicure. They insisted on me making an appointment next time and continued to give me a hard time for not making one for the reason of it "taking too long" and "not having enough time." I said "fine I'll just do a pedicure then" but they were upset I was changing my mind and reinsured me they had time to do what I wanted. I ended up getting a pedicure - okay not happy with how they tuned out because the quality was definitely rushed and not very friendly. The gal that did me didn't say one word to me. My manicure was rushed and when I asked how much a fill would be to get next time she said $55 when I was paying $65 for the original set and CONTINUED to call me about making an appointment. She even went as far as giving me her business card. If you don't want to take walks in then don't have a sign up. Many other places in Everett to get your nails done. Won't be back. read more

I'm telling them that there is a crack in my nail and they're sitting here telling me it's not when I'm staring at the crack then I asked can I get the nail fixed she was like I'll fix it if you come back in an hour I don't have an hour. My favorite nail salon ever! They consistently do an incredible job and I leave obsessed with my nails every time. These nails also last much longer than any other salon I've been to - like 3ish weeks, compared to 1.5-2 weeks. I've always felt comfortable and respected here and my nail techs always do an amazing job. I've always been able to call the morning of to schedule my appointment for the same evening and I love that they can get me in so quick. Nobody likes this type of environment. We want to get our nails done in peace. For anyone who finds it ignorant to say "don't speak in your native language," it's not a matter of racism- it's a matter of respect and professionalism. Clearly, the only prejudice people here are these nail techs themselves and the lady running this place. The good job on my nails wasn't worth going back. I'd rather go somewhere where I'm not put on display to be spoken about because of how I look. This place is amazing! Not posh at all but a true gem. Originally went in with a set from a different salon that was falling apart after one week. Sides were lifted and curling, shape was way off. Thought it was just my habits and natural nails not being a good foundation. I was so wrong. Tammy and Tracey are my go to people from now on. I asked for a frenchtip gel pedicure paid ($68) total for my feet and I asked for frenchtip powder nails ... and they charged me ($70) and I had them put on an acrylic nail that wasn't as long ... so it came out to be ($73) total for a medium size set ... I arrived at 12:07 pm 11/3/23 they asked me to sit at the fat seat to start in the pedicure chair, the time keeps passing and i see there isn't a lot of progress to be made, by the time she was finished with my nails I wasn't happy with the shape however my biggest issue was the left side didn't look like the right on my toes, and my fingers ... I received a cut on my left index finger as the girl decided to file rough And fast after I requested an acrylic nail be placed on my right hand ... seemed very impatient yet they expected me to stay and let them redo the color on my toes ... but I had another appointment at 3 pm and it was already 2:30 pm by the time the girl finished my nails ... I wish I got the names but I was so over this experience and tried my best to stay cool ... I just wanted to GET OUT OF THERE ... they told me to come back anytime and get the toes fixed but if u couldn't get it right within the first 2.5 hours I don't think investing more time would make it any better ... read more

I payed for it either way but I don't understand why the lies over the phone. This place is AMAZING. I've never had my nails look this good! I decided to get my nails done on a whim and Queen Nails exceeded all of my expectations. They were understanding and despite looking a little busy, let me do a walk-in. The first nail technician was gentle, attentive, and meticulous, filing my nails so that each nail was perfectly uniform in size, shape, and form. It was almost like an ASMR experience. When I showed her the design I wanted, she didn't feel comfortable doing it, so she had another technician come in and replace her. The second girl was OUTSTANDING. Even though she said she's never done the negative-space geometric design I asked for, she did everything possible to make sure I got what I asked for. I'm sure the fact that I asked for gel polish also made it more challenging. She kept on going back and forth with different types of brushes and techniques until she got it down to a science and all of my nails looked perfect. These people really care and want your nails to look good! I wish I asked for their names because I WILL be coming back. read more

I got my nails done there a few times and at first I thought those ladies were very nice and sweet. There was a couple times I changed my mind about how I wanted my nails done and Tracy the lady who mainly does the more complicated designs didn't like that and got mad and called me picky. She would even sometimes say the design pictures I showed her were "ugly" and get upset if I wanted to change it. I was told two weeks ago that she didn't want to do my nails anymore because I'm "picky"that's fine I thought because I figured I could give Lam a try which is the other one who does designs there right? Well I just made an appointment this morning after getting my toes done two weeks ago and they didn't tell me that they didn't want me to come back instead I try to make an appointment for this Saturday at 9am and I receive this text message from the owner telling me she's canceling my appointment because I "wasn't happy about the money and now no one wants to do for my anymore" which is bogus ! These ladies are con artists and honestly even though yes they're talented and come off very nice they are not who they seem. Yes my nails lasted several weeks and yes Tracy and lam are talented but this is so messed up. I recommend going to somewhere else because they are not true to their faithful customers as switch up the moment they feel like you don't like what they want you to do. read more

I don't normally write reviews but I'm sitting in my car outside of the building fighting back tears. I've come here four times now, the first 3 the same lady did my nails and she was so great! This time, she wasn't here and I got a different lady. I needed an acrylic fill and asked for short, rounded square nails. The lady starts, and fills and files my first hand. When she starts on my second, I have a minute to observe and the first two nails she did were exactly what I asked for. The last 3 however were tapered towards the tip, like a short coffin nail. I point this out sweetly. "I notice a few of my nails taper towards the tip, would you be able to do this hand like my first two nails, and then fix the other three"? "The three are square." "The tips of these 3 are not the same width as the center of my nail, they taper like a coffin shape." She then stands up and walks away for about 5 minutes. When she came back she said something to a coworker in her native language, then asks me to move to a corner station and then takes on a new client! I waited for an hour until a new lady fixed it, and the finished shape still looked nothing like the reference photo I had open on my phone in front of her. I was so frustrated that I asked her to just prep my nails for polish so I could do it myself at home. For clarity, I know it's not the shape of my fingers preventing the shape I like. The last time I came my normal lady got it absolutely perfect, they looked incredible! The way I was treated here today made me feel so unwelcome and like an inconvenience. I simply asked for what I wanted, and brought up a concern that could have been fixed in just a couple minutes! I was prepared to leave the salon today and write a 5 star review, but instead I'm leaving with naked nails and the $100 bill I was excited to tip my nail tech with. Good riddance, Queen Nails.
