Going to Hi-Tek Nails was a great experience! The staff are incredibly kind and sociable and the atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. Aside from hospitality, the service was considerably fast and my nails turned out beautiful. From the work they did on me, as well as from what I saw from the other customers in the store, I can tell they provide high-quality work. I will definitely go here again! read more

Place has been remodeled. It's been years since I visited but I remember it being dark and dated and now it is open and airy. Their facility is clean and all staff were kind and smiley. I appreciated their color book for shellac/gel options instead of flipping through nail colors on a metal ring. Paid $54 (before tip) for a shellac pedicure, which is comparable to another salon I go to. I'd return again if in the area. read more

I don't usually post reviews but this place was such a bummer. They were trying to rush people in and out of there as fast as they could and it didn't seem they cared at all about the quality of their work. They cut a lot of corners in my mani and pedi to get me out of the chair and on to the next person. Overall really bad experience and I won't be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for years, and I absolutely love it! Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and they always get you in right away. Henry is a true nail pro--his work is amazing! Over time, I've also gotten to know his wife and the rest of the team, and they are just as wonderful. If you're looking for a great nail spa, this is the place to go. I went in on Tuesday for a pedicure and gel manicure. This was my first time visiting the salon and things genuinely went fine. However, during the pedicure, the nail tech doing my nails dug so hard at the sides of my big toes that it hurt. It was over quick enough and my toes looked nice, but by the next morning, both of my big toes were swollen, red, and painful. I visited urgent care and was found to have a bacterial infection as a result of my pedicure and now need to do a course of antibiotics. I will not be returning and I urge caution in booking a pedicure at this salon. read more

I stopped in to Hi Tek Nails on a Saturday early afternoon because the gel manicure that I had done in TX a week ago was flaking and chipped all the way off on several of my nails which was super annoying. I don't know who my technician at Hi Tek was because he didn't introduce himself just pointed at the chair and told me to sit. The entire process of my deluxe gel manicure was efficient and fast. If it had been any other day the quickness would've irked my nerves but since I was in a hurry I didn't mind it except that when cleaning up my cuticles I felt he was rushed and it scared me because the technician is using a sharp tool to snip at my skin which also wasn't gentle and it hurt. Usually I'll go to salons with no acrylics because the strong smells affect my allergies and asthma but going in wearing a mask and way earlier in the day when it's not busy helped a lot ! The only thing I really wished was that the technician would've been less rushed and more gentle with the cuticle trimming and also when it was time for the paraffin hand dipping portion that he would've actually tried moving/spreading the paraffin on the tops of my hands because that would've helped soften my skin rather than just letting it sit at the palms of my hands, and also letting me wash my hands once he finished filing and buffing my nails before painting would've been nice too instead he just used a little brush to brush my nails but I still had nail dust all over my hands, lol. I know a female technician would've recognized and did these differently, lol. Overall, for the value and quickness of getting in I thought it was a good gel manicure WAY better than what I received in Texas and better priced too. Update: the gel nails lasted two weeks. read more

This is my favorite place. Been going here about 5 years. Hanna does amazing work. The staff is always friendly and want to get to know you. Truly the only place I go. My nails never look the same unless I ask them too. It's always a thing when I go in to work after getting my nails done. Co workers and patients all comment about how great my nails look. I moved to Lake Stevens November 2020 and I would drive down to Lynnwood or Bothell just to get my nails done, because those were places I trusted to do my nails nice. I'm very OCD about how my nails are shaped and the design. I decided to ask around my facebook group for Lake Stevens nail salon recommendations. I received quite a few, but when I looked up Hi-Tek nails, the photos of the shapes and designs caught my eye. So, I took a leap of faith and made an appointment with Hannah. I want to point out, that Hannah addressed me by my name when she brought me back to the pedicure seat. I love that she looked at her appointment sheet and took the time to learn my name and address me as so. Very professional and personal. She did such an amazing job! She filed my nails perfect and she was very precise on the design. I love my nails so much and I highly recommend this salon. Bonus, this salon is only 5 minutes away! Hannah's table is right next to a young gentleman named Henry, and they are both super friendly! The atmosphere in this salon isn't like most of the salons I've been to in the past. I was nervous at first coming here, but they were so comfortable, my nerves were gone the instant they sat me down. read more

I haven't found a nail place I like until I went here. She checked multiple times to make sure I liked my nails while she was doing them and actually took the time to make sure they looked good. My sister in law goes here and loves this place soon thought I'd give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. I will always come here to get my nails done and I'll recommend this place to anyone looking to get their nails done too. Thank you so much Hi-Tek Nails! read more

I got a pedicure here on a Sunday morning with my mom and we weren't very impressed. We paid extra for the deluxe pedicure and there was nothing deluxe about it. The lady did a good job when it came to painting my toenails, but everything else was unimpressive. She looked at both my heels and decided to herself they didn't need the scrubby sponge that exfoliates your skin which seemed very lazy to me. I'm paying extra for a nicer pedicure so why are they skipping steps? And the massage hardly even felt good and I could tell she wasn't even trying. Not worth the $40 they charged for the service. read more

I had the best experience at this nail salon. I don't remember the woman who helped me but she just moved back from Florida and she was so great. I got the dip Powder which I prefer with a square round tip. The color is super neutral like I prefer to have and you could tell she actually liked her job and took her time on my nails. I also got a pedicure and the woman who helped me was super friendly as well, always asking if my water was at an ok temperature, made me super relaxed! I just moved to town so this will be my go to place now. read more

I wish I could give this place a zero. Brought my daughter in to have a fill & fix 1.5 weeks after having a full set put on, and had such a horrible experience. First, without asking, he replaced my daughter's nails and charged me for a full set instead of the fix and fill on new nails, not cutting them as short as we had asked him too. Then, he had the lack of tact to ask me to pay cash instead of debit after pointing and seeing cash in my purse....then, within 1 day...her nails started bursting nail polish from them, as if he had formed liquid bubbles in her nails. I went back in, and he refused a refund and tried to argue that he could do better. Giving him that second chance, but not convinced this one won't be sloppy again. *the nail polish bubbles formed as if we had left her polish in the rain to dry. read more

A friend of mine recommended this nail salon! I went as a walk in today at 4:30PM and got in super quick (within minutes). I showed them the reference picture that I attached to this review and they knew right away what I was asking for-- chrome powder over white polish. My nail tech was super kind. He asked me multiple times throughout the process if I was satisfied with his work. I think he got the shape that I wanted perfectly and also did excellent with the actual polish! All in all I was there for a little over an hour and I am 100% satisfied. Will definitely be going back. read more

I recommend Bonnie to everyone I know. Perfect nails every time! I haven't had anyone I've sent say a bad thing about their experience.

My first time going to this nail salon. I got a full set acrylic nails. I showed my nail tech what I wanted, she said okay (never mention the price) half way In they told me their would be an up charge for the nails because they are long, making them $70 then right before my nails were done they up charged me another $5 for a dot on my nail, said it was a hard design. Not only did I feel like they wanted to squeeze every cent out of me but everything felt rushed, the drill bits weren't clean and neither was the light, also everyone but my nail tech was extremely rude. I will not be returning to this place and I don't think anyone else should unless you like terrible customer service and price gouging. read more

This was our first time visiting HI Tek Nails and Hannah knocked it out of the park! I have NEVER been able to walk in to a nail salon with a design I found on Pinterest and have a nail tech who was able to give me the design until now! Not only do my nails look amazing but when she removed the old nails I had on, she was very careful and did it gradually instead of chipping them off like many places do removing half of my natural nail with it.. She took her time and protected my natural nail and that was very much appreciated. We drove up from South Everett and will happily do this every this every time since we receive such good service here! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they are a little pricey, but honestly it's still worth it because I'm happy with my nails for the 1st time in a very long time ! read more

Hanna is seriously the most amazingly talented, kind, and detail oriented artist I've ever been to. This salon is like family and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my intricate designs. I hate leaving bad reviews but this experience I definitely have to.. the Pedicure was rushed (she literally had her 30 minute timer on) but kept getting up.. she was watching tv while she was doing my pedicure so hardly paying attention. The whole thing was careless and rushed, I was in and out while people who were there before me were still getting massaged. They all kind of looked at me shocked when I got upthat I was done already. My gel polish I paid extra for on top of the deluxe pedicure I also paid extra for is so messy, there's still noticeable dead skin all over my feet still, polish all over my skin? They wanted to put a family together and instead of using the other side of chairs that were available so she put some lotion on my leg didn't massage it in.. then tapped my leg said your done and proceeded to start cleaning before I even got up.. Not pleased after spending $65 plus a tip.. read more

I was in a time crunch and found this nail salon on yelp. i called first to make sure they were open, and could do an american manicure. i had a hair appointment shorty after for a formal event. they said they could get me right in. they were pretty quick, but that is where the praise stops. after the two initial women confirmed i wanted an american manicure, and had me sit, another woman came over and asked, "you want clear?" ..... i confirmed again, "american manicure." apparently she had never heard of it, because she started to paint my entire nail white. now, i've been to nail salons all over the united states since my husband is in the navy and we move somewhat frequently, and i have never had anyone not know what an american manicure was. another technician came over and told her "just the tip!" and she removed it. what i ended up with was a sloppy french manicure. after they mixed some bottles for the white color of the tip, and finished with a clear coat (instead of the normal translucent red). i was really bummed because i knew they didn't have the correct polishes to correct it, and i didn't have the time to start over. not only that, but i CALLED first, and they said they could do it, so they should have known. and the kicker, as i was sitting under the uv light drying, i looked next to me to see a huge poster of what else .... an american manicure. besides the fact they didn't know what they were doing, there was also a woman "marrying" econo size bottles of different brands of polishes and pouring them into smaller bottles, right at the nail station next to me. so i do not trust that the products in the bottles are actually what they say on the label, either. not a nail salon i'd ever revisit. read more

Since I've been on one foot for 10 weeks I've been dying for a pedicure. I was definitely nervous about not being able to communicate well enough to someone that there is hardware in my foot and I need them to be gentle. My Auntie and my girls all got pedicures while I was at an appt and we're ready to leave by the time I got done...so I was kind of bummed. I really wanted to try and get one so I asked one of the girls working there what she thought. The girl assured me she would be careful so I took my walking boot off and let her do her magic. I appreciated how mindful she was being, and she even commented that she wouldn't have really noticed my scars had I not said something, so I'm glad I did. I went with the classic pedicure (there are several different ones to choose from) just because I didn't want to mess with my poor foot too much after its gone untouched for so long. The chairs are nice big massage chairs, and other than my foot being ultra tickle sensitive (since it hasn't been touched) it was very relaxing. There were 4 others getting pedicures, and the ladies (and one gentleman) working were very friendly. It is a little off putting when they speak in their native tongue so much....but it's also rude when customers sit on their phones so much... so hard to complain. Sylvia suggested polishing my toes before doing the massage and lotions so that I would have longer for them to dry....which was a great idea. I was able to sit extra long without being rushed, and really let my toes dry before having to get my boot back on (and it worked because my toes never smudged). Loved the color, not the best polish job I've ever had...but she put a little flower over top and they look good. Great place to take younger kids also...they have a whole little set up for them with movies and everything. I'm sure I'll be back! read more

Hannah and Henry are the absolute best!! I've been many places the last two decades, I haven't ever had my nails last as long as they do when I go there.
