DO NOT STOP HERE!!! I visited this nail salon for the first time today with my granddaughter, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience from start to finish. We waited nearly two hours to be seen. I understand we did not have an appointment, but the staff was moving extremely slowly. After deciding to stay, it quickly became clear that the delay was due to employees working at a snail's pace. When we were finally seated for our pedicures, my water was lukewarm and my granddaughter's was ice cold -- and I truly mean ice cold. It felt like there were ice cubes in it. When I alerted the staff, one technician dipped her finger in the water, said something to another employee, and they removed the liner and drained the tub -- without saying a single word to us. As the water drained, we noticed the tub was filthy. There were visible dirt particles, shaved leg hair, wax residue, and other debris floating in the water. The tub clearly had not been cleaned after the previous customer. We had to point it out before they moved us to different chairs. The issues didn't stop there. My 11-year-old granddaughter requested a classic pedicure with a simple four-leaf clover design. We were told she had to upgrade to shellac just to get a small flower or clover. I've been to many nail salons and have never been told that a simple design requires a mandatory upgrade. On top of that, the technician admitted she didn't even know how to draw the design and needed to find someone else. Since I was treating my granddaughter and she really wanted it, I agreed. I chose a French tip design for myself. They did not apply a base coat, only used one thin coat of polish on the top of my toe (so thin that my nail was visible through it), and they did not apply a topcoat until I specifically asked. I also had to ask them to clean up excess polish left on my toes. A base coat and topcoat should be standard -- not something a customer has to request. After finishing, I was told I needed to sit for another 20 minutes because they do not offer a UV light or dryer for classic pedicures. So essentially, if you choose the more affordable service, you are forced to sit and wait because there is no drying equipment available. When I went to pay, the total was $113 -- for one small flower, a standard French tip design, and what should have been basic finishing steps like base and topcoat. This business is clearly nickel-and-diming customers while cutting serious corners -- including hygiene. I will not be returning and would not recommend this salon to anyone. read more

They advertise a Bella Manicure which includes a neck and shoulder massage. I paid for that manicure and then was told when they were pushing up my sleeves that they can't do that part anymore, but the cost was still the same. A week later, one of my nails had the paint peeling off in one piece, and another chipped. I stopped in to get them repaired but they were too busy. I guess I could have made an appointment, but I can't image fixing one nail would take much time and I would think that would be a priority for a business. read more

At each visit everyone has been so friendly and we have been very happy with each experience and results. But today I just had to leave a review because I made a very specific request for black french nails with white 3d art ( I had seen picture on Pinterest. I have been goi g to Bella's since they opened. I don't know what happened. I had an appointment with my regular technician went to my appointment and they said she quit. This is not the same now. People are different & techniques are different. I am very unimpressed. I spent $67 on a gel manicure. It took 40 minutes, only 1 coat of polish. They soaked my entire hand in polish remover not just my nails. I've never had that done before anywhere! Yuck! The next day the polish was chipping off and then all my nails cracked within 2 days. Worst acrylic nails ever. Ricky was my tech. Although he is nice and polite. He did not take direction well. One hand has a longer nail length than the other. The shape is not Square/ Round and my nails do not look the sample I gave the tech at all. And it was their sample... so not sure why they would promote something if they cannot perform it. Wow I came in here because I I was so unhappy with the nails I had done at a place in Marysville they seriously just look like thick ugly blocks. My friend and I had an appointment scheduled. When we arrived they took to many walk ins and we didn't get helped till 45 minutes after our appointment was scheduled. Once they started our pedicures. My friends foot was sliced and starting bleeding. When she confronted the lady about it. She just laughed and said sorry. There was two different people that worked on our toes and they were constantly switching. I asked the lady not to cut my toe nails and just leave them how they were. She proceeded to cut them. I asked her to stop and she just smiled and finally stopped. We had our pedicures done yesterday (with shellac) and today one whole foot is already off. It's supposed to last weeks without falling off! The ladies doing our manicures were also not friendly and did a sloppy job. Do not ever go to this place, they admit to using cheap products which cause air bubbles in your nails. And try to charge you to fix it. They will cut the wrong length and when you complain it's the wrong length they will refuse to fix it unless you pay for a whole new set. When speaking with the owner the refuses to fix anything and then threatens to call the police to get your off his property without making things right. After recently being let down somewhere else my friend told me to go see Dani at Bella Nails. SHE IS AMAZING. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and for exactly that. I always attempted to give this salon chances despite the unprofessionalism I have experienced in the past. Since then, My mom was badly burned at this place of business and the owner refuses to even return calls. She was an extremely loyal customer to this establishment, and they are taking no fault. Please read her story below (pics in comments): They put my hands in a bowl of acetone which was in a bowl of very hot water. They left my hands in there 45min!!! Even after a reminder I had been sitting there awhile. I was told they weren't finished. My pinky fingers started burning and i pulled them out and they had blistered. I yelled at the staff that they had burned me me! I ran and put my hands under cold water. The manager Lily was then called over to look at my hands and at that point she sprayed oil all over my hands and arms and started rubbing it in which popped the blisters on my pinky fingers. I told her I needed to leave I was crying at that point and she charged me $45 when I tried to argue with her she then gave me $35 back in gift cards. At that point I just left I was beyond arguing I called my husband and we went straight to Colby campus Hospital. I had 2nd and 3rd degree burns... Pictures to follow. Since then I had to hire a lawyer because the salon owner refuses to give out his insurance information to pay for my medical bills. I hand been going to the salon for 2 years I was a faithful customer and I always tipped very well! To be treated this way is absolutely disrespectful and horrible! ! Im surprised by the reviews because I had a really awesome experience here. Did the full "Bella" pedicure which was $20 extra but it was 100% worth it. I was in there for an hour and 15 minutes getting scrubbed, massaged and pampered. My nails look great and I was so relaxed afterwards that I went home and took a 4 hour nap. read more

I think if clients were more open about what they want, they would be a little more happy with the service they request. Also in my opinion if I stay with the same tech doing my nails, they learn what I like and don't like. First visit today, because my regular nail place was closed for the holiday. Really nice inside, and staff were nice. Got a basic pedicure ($25) and the young girl did a nice job, took her time. I got a dip powder for my nails ($35) and I had to come home and fix stuff. She left polish on my skin in several places and she knew it. She tried to get it off but then gave up. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's always very clean. As with any nail salon, appointments are recommended. They have many services to choose from. You fill out a form when you arrive to let the tech know what you want, I've never seen that before but I think it's a great idea to avoid confusion or possible language barriers. I will always review nail salons with factual information to save a lot of people time, money, and a doctor visit. This nail salon is beautiful! Very much a well kept and not so smelly place! Maybe it's the masks but no over whelming monimur smell! I give a 3 star review because my nails did turn out great! However, they didnt use clean tools on me. The brush for acrylic was dirty, the cuticle trimmers, as well as the buffer was not sanitized before touching my hands. This can lead to infections, staph, mersa and should be taken more seriously. The nail tech wasn't very nice or friendly. He did a great job on my nails but just wasn't giving me good customer service it was pretty awkward sitting there for an hour in silence! They do offer complimentary beverages but I never received mine but that's okay! It was a busy day! They aren't upfront with pricing there's no sign! So besides bad hygiene with tools and the lack of conversation this is a okay nail place. He did great on my nails I have no complaints just a bit freaked over the dirty tools! read more
