Absolutely Horrible. Went in today for a full set and shellac, paid $55 + tip. (should not have even tipped her) Lady sits at first chair by front door and she talked on her cell phone the whole time while doing my nails. I wanted my nails almond shaped got a few that way and other so short and round. Absolutely pathetic & very disappointed. Highly unprofessional! I scheduled a full foil and they asked me what color over the phone, I clearly indicated I wanted a full blonde foil. I've been here once before with a bad manicure, so I tried to give them a second chance. The second time was worse than the first my nails are completely uneven one side is higher than the other. I would never go back here and I spent $50 and then tipped 10 = $60 for probably the worst manicure I've ever had. The woman who is doing my nails, sits near the phone by the front and she was yelling at me, telling me that I waited too long to get my nails fixed and I have been going through chemotherapy, so wasn't being able to make it back in on time. Horrible nail service Lady who did my nails made my nails all crooked not even the nail shade I asked for and didn't know how to even do French nails I asked for acrylic on my toes and have had them done before and she kept trying to talk me out of it as if I've never had them done before and my guy boss wanted his toes done and she refused to do them . Stopped in for a final pedicure pre-tatoo. It was the best pedicure I have had in years. They took extra time to repair a toe nail (who knew) and did a great job. The shop was bright, clean and friendly. I can highly recommend their pedis and business. read more

Things went OK, except when the man cut my bangs after I specifically asked him not to. Everyone makes a mistake, so I decided to give it another try. My Appointment was today at noon. I arrived 5 minutes b/4 my scheduled time. One of the ladies politely asked if I was there for a haircut with Alex, and I said: "yes"! For the longest time I lived in the US this is the first time I experienced discrimination. I walked in this nail spa and was told to wait 15mins which i did. 30mins later she told me to pick a color so i did. 45mins later she told me just to come back because she is busy. There was only two clients when I walked in and 2 other white american female came in after me without an appointment but got assisted right away before me. What a shame! tech was passive, I got pedi it was fine but I wanted a design.on acrylics tech was on the phone and made nails thick and did my ombré backwards and a different design than what I wanted, it had smeared when she put the topcoat I had felt very upset and knew that I was going to take them off and get a new set instead until I had realized I was charged 80! Went into Angelo hair and nails with a girlfriend of mine. People were friendly we had a little bit of a wait even with an appointment. Girlfriend that I went with seemed to be very satisfied, mine were not done badly but it was very basic pedicure for the prices they charge. The color selection is very limited! read more

Horrible!!! Would give them 0 stars, if I could. Powder manicure, with tips. My first. Well, no manicure. Thought they would have cleaned my nails and removed cuticles, but nothing. Cut my nails off and didn't even bother to file off rough edges. Nails were uneven lengths, and on several nails, polish was noticeably lumpy. She used wrong color, but I think that was a miscommunication. When filing the tips, she filed too close to skin, required antibiotic ointment. On top of that, she told me they would just fall off, that I did not to soak to remove. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I've been going to Angel Hair and Nails for about 2 years now and would not go anywhere else! There's only one gal there who does powder dip nails and she's really good. She doesn't do any type of massage at the end but I don't mind because she's that good. The older lady with glasses does amazing pedicures! It will be a good hour and a half for a pedicure and her leg and foot massages are incredibly relaxing and last time I think I fell asleep :) I'm not giving them 5 stars because you do tend to wait even if you have an appointment. They will squeeze in walk in's when they don't have enough time to but overall they do a great job. read more

I've been going to Angel Hair & Nails for years. I've read the reviews that some people are writing and it makes me very sad to read these. Seriously, 90% of nail salons are Asian "Get Over It". This is a family owed company and they work extremely hard. Marie and Ann always takes the extra time that my nails are perfect. Sometimes I have to go to another place because they are busy, and I always regret that I've done that. Because I end up having Angel Nails fix other salons strew-ups. Then there is KATHY that does my hair. She does the best job on my hair every time. I'm always happy with the services. Keep up the good work. And the reason why you have to wait is because they are good lots of people go there. And you can always make a yourself appointment and they never over book. read more

Today I had the most unfriendly gal working on my nails. It was my first visit. She was rough, didn't talk to me at all & ignored me when I was explaining that one of my nails was splitting across the nail bed & it's a bit painful. She either didn't understand me (which is ok, I mean it's a nail salon so it's to be expected), or she was simply too busy to care about what I'd said. Further along in my visit, she hadn't added acrylic on that nail to strengthen it like I'd requested, so I said something & showed her the split nail. She was clearly irritated . In the end she dipped that nail to help, but it's still very thin. The skin around my nails has shellac all over which she saw & half ass tried to clean up. Another gal who was super sweet cleaned them up for me when the girl I was seeing had finished. That sweet gal however accidentally kicked my foot, my freshly painted pedicure & messed up the paint on my big toe. Instead of repainting it, she clear coated over it & it looks a bit funky lol. I didn't want to be rude, so I just paid & got out of there....I couldn't get out that door fast enough! I was going to have my eyebrows waxed as well but I was so bothered by her poor customer service, I left with those damn caterpillars on my face ! I am still in search of a great salon, close to home that has great customer service. I do have to say that Marie was super sweet, the owner (a gentleman) was friendly & my friend felt like he did a good job. It's too bad one person ruined the whole experience for me. I get my nails done regularly, am polite & always tip. I'm bummed because the salon itself was very clean & well maintained. I'm a huge fan of the consistency in service I receive at Angel Hair and Nails; and everyone is very friendly. The only negative would be the lack of pricing. I never know how much my bill will be until the end. I suggest making pricing visible somewhere in the salon. read more

Update: I'm downgrading them to two stars because I got fungus under all my newly applied nails. I ended up having to remove them and let the fungus grow out for 6 months before going to a different salon and getting them put back on. As far as nails go, you get what you pay for! Original review: After reading the Yelp reviews here, I made an appointment to go see Alex. I have to say, this is the best haircut I've had in decades. Thank you Yelpers! So why didn't I give them 5 stars? Well, there is quite a language barrier here. Everyone working there is Asian. No problem there, but they spoke in their native language the whole time I was there. First of all, this is quite rude, considering all of their clients were English speakers. Secondly, they will never get good at English if they don't speak it as their first language. I could barely understand half of what the lady doing my nails said to me. That didn't make for a comfortable experience. Alex was fairly easy to understand, though not perfect. The others though, not so much. I'd say if you want a terrific haircut, see Alex. If price is your main concern, this is your place. If conversation is important to you, go elsewhere. If you don't like non-English speakers, go elsewhere. If you don't like people talking in other languages in your presence, go elsewhere. Took my friend in for a pedicure for her birthday, we both had never been here before. I was told that this was the best pedicure place around and that the prices were cheap. The pedicure was alright, NOTHING special, fancy or extra. Just a basic pedicure, for $22 which, I felt was a little on the pricey side considering what we actually got. Also, my friend and I noticed that even though we couldn't understand the ladies doing our pedicures it was very present that they were talking bad about us. read more

My family and I have been going here for as long as I can remember. Had good and bad experiences. However, their service quality over the years has gone down so much to a point where it has costed them my family's business. Recently, I decided to take my boyfriend here for the first time to get our feet done. We had made an appointment over the phone. The lady on the phone was very rude and seemed like she had absolute zero patience. When we arrived for our pedicures, they started up our water and sat us without even greeting us. They started on his feet first as I sat there in silence with my feet in the water for a good 15 minutes before anyone came over to start on me. Once a lady finally came over and started on my feet, the two started chatting with each other and not paying attention to what they were doing. The lady doing my boyfriends feet massaged his left foot for literally 12 minutes because she got so carried away in her conversation and completely neglected the other foot. My boyfriend has a very high pain tolerance, so for him to make a noise meant it really hurt when she started to cut his cuticle too far on his big toe and made him bleed. The lady then finished scrubbing the life out of his left foot as she saw other customers walk in. The two ladies then dried off his feet, finished painting mine and let us sit there as they went and started on other people and never came back to lotion our feet. They never told us we were done or anything. We waited a good 15 minutes before we decided to lotion our OWN legs and feet and got up to pay. They then tried to charge us $50 for both pedis. A couple days later, my boyfriends left big toe became very infected (had to drain multiple times), and is now in the process of healing. So, we will NEVER go back there! Sorry, but this place is not worth our time. read more
