Just wanted to give Thuy another updated shout out as an amazing stylist- I've been living near Portland for over 2 years and am still coming back to her and only her to have my hair cut and styled. She is still worth every mile! read more

First time seeing Tiffany for a women's haircut. She is conveniently located in the Sola Salon, although parking can be tricky depending on time of day. She gave me a much needed hair wash and listened as I described how I wanted my hair cut. She informed me that what I was requesting has fallen out of style and suggested a different cut. I trusted her input and ended up with a beautiful cut with lots of layers. She was engaging and fun to talk to throughout my visit. Look forward to seeing her again in the future! read more

I just got my first haircut from Thuy. I found her to be very professional, personal, kind, and understanding. She had a vision for what would look best on me, and I felt I could trust her. I'm happy with the results and I'll be going back again. I liked that her space was clean, and did not smell like hair chemicals. read more

Thuy is the best hair stylist I have ever had and I have been going to her for 3-4 years. My sister's family and my daughter both go to her too. She is very friendly and a real professional. I don't know much about style so I like that I can just trust her to do what she does best. She checks in with me about what she thinks will look best for the season and whatever she has suggested has always worked for me! read more

AWESOME! I just moved to Lynnwood and was looking for someone to color my hair. I had gotten highlights previously, and the results of that was the color was uneven. Plus the cost was surprisingly high (I booked for highlights plus toner - but she only bleached it). I didn't go back. I finally found Thuy and saw that she had good reviews (I especially liked how people said she was detailed/meticulous when doing your hair), so I decided to try her and see. The review was accurate! Thuy was very meticulous and I am very happy with the result. I'm so glad I found someone to do my hair so soon! Regarding the vibe, Thuy is fun to talk to, but if you just want music/movie, she can turn that on for you as well. She is also very considerate. For instance, just when I felt thirsty, she handed me a bottle of water. Later, she gave me some candies. I didn't know lollipops taste so good. If you're looking for Thuy. You have to search for her at Sola Salon in Mill Creek! You can google or yelp Sola Salon! read more

My friend had been seeing Thuy for a few years so I thought I would try her out and I am SO happy I did! She is now my go-to hair dresser. One of the qualities about Thuy's work is that she takes a lot of pride in her hair cuts and her coloring. She spent the time asking what kind of look I wanted, but also gave her opinion on what she thought would look good on me based on her experience and also based on my own facial features. She uses quality coloring products and one can tell the difference. Also, she knows how to manage the uniqueness of Asian hair. My hair is thick and course and after she cut my hair, it felt so light and clean. Her work space is cute and functional and she makes you feel welcome by putting on some music and helping you relax. Thank you so much Thuy! read more

Thuy Nguyen - Partial balayage with haircut - Hair Stylists Near Me - Mill Creek, Washington

Thuy is the best hairstylist I have ever visited. She did magic with my hair and made me look just the way I wanted. I am now going to be a lifelong client of hers. After my first haircut with her, I went back to get my overall color done and she did great once again! Whenever I visited other salons and got my hair colored, during the first hairwash at home the color runs and stains everything. I was expecting that to happen but surprise surprise! Thuy used great products and took care of my hair. My first hairwash at home after getting my hair colored was like a regular wash with no color running and staining everything. Thuy is great! Thank you for making my experience so good always! read more

Arrived to salon w appt time of 10:30a and I was 15 min early. First thing she said was that she has another client before my 10:30a appt and that she usually tells her clients not to arrive early. Meanwhile I've received 3 text notifications during the week reminding me of my appt at 10:30am. So I ask her if she wanted me to wait outside so that she can attend to her other client who had not arrived yet. She said no it's fine, and then immediately she proceeded to tell me that the haircut price she quoted me on text the other day was actually $10 more. She continued by saying if I'd wanted the bayalage it would be the original texted quote but because it was just a hair cut appt, that it was $10 more. I told her I understood it to be what she quoted me on text. I'm not a difficult client and I've been loyal to hair stylists that are professional but when you're greeted straight away with "I tell people not to come early" (which I was not told this until arriving 15 min early for the appt), and then your price changes from original quote, then I'm not going to sit for a haircut where the energy is already ruined by the rude tone and unprofessionalism. There are other salon stylists that I can pay my 20% tip to and this is not it. read more

She's a gem of a person. Great hair stylist. Always welcoming and ready to set your mind at ease. She's been a wonderful person and willing to do your hair at any given time. It takes special skill to properly cut Korean hair and Thuy did an amazing job! She listened to my concerns, gave me recommendations and made a plan to achieve my desired style/length. Thuy is an incredible hair dresser. She has an outstanding attention to detail and knows how to cut many different types of hair. She does a great job of listening to what I want but also giving suggestions about how to make my hair look better (and from the results, her suggestions are right). Her layering is top-notch, she brought waves and shape to my hair I haven't had before (it's naturally very straight), and it grows out really well. Most importantly, she is very consistent with haircuts. Thuy is also a great listener and gets to know customers very well, both personally and professionally. I have been going for about a year, and I don't have to say anything about my haircut at this point; she just knows what to do. She also always asks about my family and things that we've talked about in the past. She is very hard-working, reasonably priced, and cares a ton about the quality of her work. Very highly recommend! read more
