I've been seeing Thuy for over 12+ years! I originally started seeing her at another Salon in Mill Creek, but she is now at Sola Salon. She is very detail oriented and efficient at her expertise. She knows exactly what I want and I always leave satisfied. I can't imagine having anyone else cut my hair, especially "Asian" hair. She recently did a balayage and did a great job and will recommend her to others! Love her! read more

If you're looking for a hair stylist who truly knows her craft, look no further than Lynda Ellis. I've been getting a combination of highlights and lowlights with her, and every single time I leave the salon feeling like the best version of myself. What really set Lynda apart from the start, was how she handled my first appointment. I came to her after a genuinely terrible experience elsewhere. My hair was a mess and needed serious color correction. Lynda assessed the situation, explained exactly what she was going to do, and executed it flawlessly. She turned a hair disaster into something I was actually proud of. Since then, she's been my go-to, and I wouldn't have it any other way. She has an incredible eye for dimension and balance. Beyond the technical skill, what I appreciate most is that Lynda is someone you can genuinely trust with your hair. She listens, she communicates, and she delivers. read more

AWESOME! I just moved to Lynnwood and was looking for someone to color my hair. I had gotten highlights previously, and the results of that was the color was uneven. Plus the cost was surprisingly high (I booked for highlights plus toner - but she only bleached it). I didn't go back. I finally found Thuy and saw that she had good reviews (I especially liked how people said she was detailed/meticulous when doing your hair), so I decided to try her and see. The review was accurate! Thuy was very meticulous and I am very happy with the result. I'm so glad I found someone to do my hair so soon! Regarding the vibe, Thuy is fun to talk to, but if you just want music/movie, she can turn that on for you as well. She is also very considerate. For instance, just when I felt thirsty, she handed me a bottle of water. Later, she gave me some candies. I didn't know lollipops taste so good. read more

Drove way out here.. to get my hair did!! There are 2 solar studios on the same bothell Everett high way it seems. And this one is in Millcreek, the other one is in bothell which I initially went to. Wrong spot! Like other solar studios, this one have about 38 salons inside. Much more mellower location. It's also in a shopping plaza: plenty of parking! I saw Janeth from JS salon for haircut and partial foliage! Aka freshing up colors for fall. Finding a new stylist is such a rough job!! Come back soon , Trinh! And daunting too. But thanks to IG, I found her. I mean what did we do before IG??! I'm glad I found her. Our partial colors and cut was a fast 2.5 hours. She's nice and fun to talk to. And I totally felt comfortable letting her cut my hair too which I'm usually not ok with doing with a new stylist! Got a good 6-7 inches off! Eek. It's a drive from downtown Seattle but it was easy to get here even in the 7 am traffic. Looking forward to coming back for my next 7 am appointment! And this time, I'll make it to the right location. read more

This review is for Tiffany Salon: Thuy is a phenomenal hair stylist, in fact she's the best i've ever encountered. I've spent my entire life getting so-so haircuts and color. My first time with Thuy I was so blown away at how great she did with color, but it was also the best hair cut ive ever had in my life. I immediately got on her schedule for 6 weeks out and will continue going to her for as long as she does hair. She's also the sweetest lady ever so I really enjoy the time I spend there when im getting my hair done. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! read more

Thuy is an amazing hair stylist! She gave me amazing recommendations and is very detail orientated. Highly recommend and definitely coming back! read more

Sola Salon in Mill Creek is a fabulous idea. The building itself is clean and bright. However, I would suggest to new customers to really research who you are seeing. Not every professional is worth the $200-300 price you are paying. When I pay that price, I expect quality. Unfortunately, on two separate occasions, with two different stylists, my service and quality was substandard. It feels like low quality stylists are coming to Mill Creek, because they think there is alot money in this area. Be cautious! read more

Thuy is very talented and I highly recommend her. I've been going to her for haircuts in the last few years and have always been very happy with the results. I moved to Redmond but still prefer coming to her for my haircuts. She is respectful, pays attention to details and is consistently good. She is looking for new clients. Go give her a try! read more

I first met Thuy "Tiffany" a few years ago when I stumbled across ViVi Salon & Spa. Thuy gave me the best haircut I've ever had and charged very reasonably. Thuy's also skilled with highlighting/coloring Asian hair. She's attentive to details, a great listener, warm & easy to talk to. As a client, I've never felt rushed even during busy time. I've gone back to ViVi once when Thuy was not working and regrettably allowed another person to cut/color my hair. It was a disaster and I had to correct the orange color with a boxed hair color from a store that same day. I haven't been back to that salon since and was excited when I learned that Thuy is now working at Sola Salon in Mill Creek. I had an appointment with Thuy today and, as expected, I'm very happy with the result. Thuy's a gem! I'm so glad i found her again! read more

Excellent service from Thuy "Tiffany" Nguyen. Didn't know what to expect when I booked my appointment. When I booked my appointment, I didn't expect her to text me personally asking what kind of style I would like for my hair so she can prepare for my appointment.
