This nail salon is clean, simple, and efficient. I get dip nails, and they always get me in same or next day. I love the shape and finish the gal gives me, and my nails come out perfect every time. I've never had an issue, so that's great news. There is a "fancier" salon in town; but I have had two bad experiences there and won't be going back. First visit to Rebecca's, last visit to Rebecca's. 5 toes have scabs from the technician using a block file to smooth my nail beds - she took skin with it, 5 times - and I was VERY clear what she was doing on my left foot was painful - this did not clue her in to be more careful - she added another scab to my right foot. I hope there is an option to add a picture. This has NEVER happened at any salon. I also showed Rebecca when she asked how my service was - I said it was pretty painful, and she looked, and said nothing. Nothing. Maybe it's so common it doesn't matter. read more

What a disappointment! Rebecca is the sweetest, but sadly she wasn't there to assist and her employees are ruining her business/rep. When I lived in Monroe this was my go to nail salon. Since I was in town I thought I'd go and support. Unfortunately, I have to say that my experience was not the same and absolutely terrible. There were 5 of us receiving services somewhat simultaneously. My mom had mentioned that the worker didn't provide her with hot stone service, but my niece received it. The worker argued that she did and implied that my mom was lying... after that they started talking about her in Vietnamese. It was obvious because they were mimicking what my mom had said and it felt awful. In addition, my nieces nails didn't have top coat on it, so I had to ask for it and apply it myself. I asked for flower designs and I got dots, which I requested for removal. I was extremely disappointed and I will never go back there again! read more

The whole salon is also just so incredibly kind and personable. They recognized me immediately after not being in for a few months and asked me about specific members of my family that they also remember and know. Cutest Nail Salon in Monroe! I had made my apt the day before, showed up 10 minutes early to pick out my color for a dip manicure. Great color selection and all the colors were displayed so nicely, it made it very easy to choose the perfect one! My apt started right on time and April got right to work. Everyone in the salon was so nice, it was a really fun experience. I just got a basic dip because in the past that is what other salons have done. The women sitting next me had Rebecca working on her and she told Rebecca to choose the color and design for dip manicure. Now my nails turned out beautifully but WOW! Her nails were amazing!!! She used a matte blue on two nails and added flower designs to them and then used a sparkle blue for her other nails, her manicure looked very high end and I am definitely giving them free range on my nails next time I go in. I already had dip on my nails when I went in so they had to soak it off, between the time I sat down to the time I walked out with finished nail was only 45 minutes! They are so fast! Which is really nice when you have a busy schedule. All in all the shop was adorable, you can tell there was a lot of thought in how it was decorated, felt like a boutique. If I could give Rebecca's Nails more than 5 stars I would!! I moved to Monroe in 2016 and went to her salon every few weeks up until moving out of state last October, 2021. I truly do not think any other salon compares to this one. Rebecca is incredibly accommodating and her whole team is always so friendly, happy and always make you feel so welcomed. I clearly miss this salon as I am writing a review again and almost 6 months since going there! If you need a manicure or pedicure this is seriously the place to go! They do awesome pedicures but their manicures are pretty bad. I shouldn't have to go home and take off all the polish that they left on my skin. I paid after my pedicure and before my manicure so I wouldn't have to dig in my wallet but I sure wouldn't have tipped as much after the manicure or at all. She cut my nails with cuticle cutters and never filed them down. She missed all the sides of my nail with polish. Here is a photo the day of and morning after. I have been a regular customer for a few months now. I don't know what happened but I had the worst experience at this salon recently. I had a pedicure done and the woman who did my pedicure was very rough on my nails. I repeatedly told her she was hurting me! Then, she started pushing and pulling my feet like she was irritated. By the middle of the pedicure, I was so stressed wondering if she was going to hurt my feet again. I actually came home and the skin on one of my toes was filed raw. Not sure why anyone would give this place 5 stars. I made an appointment and they were full when I got there so I had to wait 15mins. They put me in a pedi chair someone had just gotten out of. I asked if it was cleaned and the lady mumbled something and said it was fine because the use disposable liners. I should of just left then, But I was already running behind because they were late. My pedi was rushed and not relaxing at all. My shellac was horrible. I have polish still on my fingers and bubbled polish. Rebecca and her staff knows me as soon as I walk in they know when I was last here which is funny cause it's been more than two months , I went to give another location a try located next to sushi place and Mexican place .. didn't care for service and the work that the other did was crappy they only did one coat of shellac I asked them about it and they said they only need to put one coat.. well my nails were chipped and cruddy on third day, I gave them a try because a friend took me there so sorry to say no one has compared to Rebecca's nails by far! The lady that did my nails was nice. I asked for a full set so I picked my color and by the end, I liked how they looked, however she used shellac and didn't even ask if that was okay with me. Then I was leaving the parking lot, I noticed the nail on my middle finger was completely crooked. Two days after I got them done, my pinky nail popped off and all of the others are lifting. The people who work at this salon are the sweetest people ever! They pay good attention to detail. I am giving the place two stars because two days after I left the salon with a new set of dipped powdered nails they almost all lifted, resulting in a painful experience of a nails getting caught on things and ripping out my hair each time I do it since the nails are so lifted hair gets caught and pulled out. They have cheaper prices then other salons, but I defiantly got less then what I payed for. I love dipping powder due to their longevity but sadly I will not go back after that experience. read more

I used to come here at least two times a month! They did awesome! Rebecca knows your name the second you come in, and will remember your name every time-even if it's been a year and you have only been once! I love the older lady who does the pedis! I always ask if she will give my legs an extra massage for $10, and she always winks and is more than happy and willing! Depending on my schedule and kids, I will snag a mani also! There is one lady that is amazing! Once you have her, you will know who I am talking about and request her Everytime!!! I never left there tipping under 30%!!! Slowly over time, business for crazy busy! Everyone referred people, because of the relaxing, well priced, and great work! After the remodel, you could just feel the vibe was different. The busier they got, your loyalty was no longer appreciated! Rebecca knew they had their regulars, and so she started putting her efforts into the new clients and referrals! The pedicures were getting shorter (not because of the tech-Rebecca would snap at them) and the mani's no longer looked like they took pride in their work! Rebecca wanted to turn and burn! I had to start making appts (which is totally fine), but she would make sure to cater to the newer customers and let me sit and wait. It just kept going downhill from there. I scheduled my mani/pedi and when I finished my pedi, I sat to get my mani. They just started polishing, and I was confused?! I'm supposed to be getting a mani!! Rebecca chimed in, we don't have time for you. Come back in like 2 hours!!! Who the hell wants to leave after a pedi and then come back later that day for a mani!!? Especially when you had an appt?!? I told her I couldn't, as I have a life outside of nail salons. They charged me for a pedi and shellac, which was like $2 more for a mani!! I was so annoyed! The next day my toes and nails looked like shit, and I walked in to ask for a touch up? Rebecca was not having it! She came over and inspected each nail, and told her to only paint certain nails-and without taking the old shit off!!!!! That was my final straw!! I was addicted to that place, and she let the increase in business destroy a really good thing they had!!! Also, Rebecca has super hearing powers, so if you have a question or want something fixed or a certain way, talk quietly! She will literally talk over the tech to you, then snap at the tech (not in English). She will also clearly see a job looks like crap, and say it looks great and that's how it should look! I went here twice with my friend. The first time I made an appointment for two shellac manicures, and when we arrived they did not have enough staff. As a result, one staff member kept switching between both of us and rushing our manicures. The shellac polished started peeling the next day. The second time we tried this place, we both got manicures and pedicures. The shellac manicure was done sloppy and my friends cuticles were picked at so badly that most of her nails were bleeding. I've always heard people talk about how great Rebecca's is so I finally went in to get shellac acrylics. Most nail places lack hospitality and customer service, Rebecca's proved me wrong the second I walked in. They came up to me and greeted me and walked me to my chair (at this point I was already loving the place). We actually talked and did a consultation about what I wanted (never have had anyone do a consultation at a nail salon, which you are always supposed to have. Before we began she even told me what the price would be. Love it!!!). The amount of detail and perfection they do on your nails is amazing.
