I got takeout here recently and I was pleased. I always seem to order sweet and sour chicken from Chinese restaurants and of course I had to try Quan's version of this. The sweet and sour sauce was a little bland, but I enjoyed the real pieces of pineapple with it. I ordered a small and I was still unable to finish all of it in one sitting. Very big portions. I can't imagine what the large is like. Prices were decent and their website/menu is very organized and provides you with lots of choices. I will definitely be back to try out Quan's again. It seems to be a little cheaper than it's rival Chinese restaurant up the street- Cheng-Du. read more

On Monday before New Year's Eve, I stopped by the Mansfield location to place a written order of what we wanted, and a scheduled pick-up of 3:30 pm on December 31st. I was told "B" and use the last 4 #'s of my cell for pick up. I arrived on the 31st, at 3:20, and the pick up area appeared well organized, including heaters for those attempting to social distance. A young man got my two large bags of items and said, "$146.18" which seemed way too high even with pandemic inflation, but it was busy and i gave the credit card for payment and left for home. The order should have been about $100. not over it. Got to Raynham and opened the bags - what is this? No large beef teriyaki, , some sort of meat and vegetable combination we could not identify and didn't order, plus what may have been a lo mein type of dish, both a large and small container of cold noodles with a few vegetables, but not something any of us would have ordered and do not eat. Most of the food was quite cold, the pu pu only had one shrimp, but lots of extra chicken in batter. The boneless pork was dry and tough. I called the restaurant, was hung up on at the first attempt to speak with someone, second call went through three people before speaking with a manager who wanted to know if I was satisfied with the order! Seriously? Satisfied customers do not call on such a busy day nor do they post like this on Yelp. Obviously I was charged for items I never ordered plus the beef teriyaki I never got. New Years resolution, look elsewhere for Asian take out, or verify each item in the bags before leaving the parking lot. Sad to have to post this as throughout the year we have been frequent customers and have always had correct well prepared food as ordered. read more

Decent Chinese. They deliver. I agree with the review above (Kevin T.'s) that you can easily make two meals out of one order. The spicy string beans are nice. I'd suggest ordering them without the pork. The meat that comes with it is a bit rubbery and the beans are flavorful enough on their own. Ordered here thinking since phantom gourmet reviewed them their food would be good. Their rice is very bland with little to no flavor. It's edible with enough salt. The chicken fingers were reheated to the point where they were hard and rubbery. We will not be ordering from here again. read more

So disappointed that I they couldn't get my order right. I literally had to sit in the parking lot after my order went to the wrong branch of the restaurant. They guy who took my order messed it up completely just picking what he decided I want. I attempted to call the restaurant two and they decided to tell me I didn't know how to order which is crazy and didn't own up to their order takers mistake. Picked up food for first time after pandemic. Prior to this went there many times over years and WAS my favorite place for Chinese food. They took order fast outside and filled it quickly that part was great. Got home and both dishes had no taste at all. Mongolian Beef was missing heat and a few pieces were chunks not sliced thin as in past. Wonton soup had no taste at all. Fried rice was just that only fried rice. Sound a few flakes of pork no onions and not a piece of egg anywhere. Will try and find new place. read more

Delicious, consistent Chinese. On a Friday night, my delivery order took half an hour to get to me. I've always found them super-tasty; so they call the dumplings "ravioli," I know what they are and they're damn good! I can't say I'm a Chinese food aficionado, or anything, but this is as good as or better than all the other places I've been. They even have beef chow fun, which I love. Also, there's been maybe a time or two that I haven't gotten something extra, but most of the time they throw in a free crab rangoon or chicken teriyaki with my order, and I really like that a lot. It's a nice gesture. People taking my order over the phone have always been courteous and capable, making sure to repeat it back to me to be sure it's right. Delivery drivers have been timely and polite, and counter staff when I've gotten takeout has been friendly. Good staff, good food, decent prices. What more could you ask for? read more

If take-out appetizers are your favorite part of the Chinese food experience, then Quan's is for you. They have all the typical appetizers you're accustomed to and they taste good. Their combo menu is the least expensive way to order. Be prepared to do substitutions (they have no problem with it) unless boneless spareribs are your fave. They are are the staple of nearly all the combos, but switching out to your actual favorite is not a problem. The staff are are always courteous and pleasant. This is not a restaurant you eat at, it is takeout. It is inexpensive and the food is good. Yes, I've had better, but nothing which compares to these budget conscious selections. read more

I've tried a lot of Chinese food in my life, but this is some of the best. I haven't had anything on the menu yet that I've disliked. It's kind of hard to describe what sets Quan's apart from other Chinese food restaurants, but it just tastes fresher and more high quality, the vegetables are always nice and crisp instead of overcooked and floppy, and it isn't overly oily either. If you decide to check it out, the crab rangoon, scallion pie, chow mein, house rice, and curry chicken are all great. read more

Horrible overpriced food! I gave this place a chance at least 5 times. The only dish I could eat was Mongolian shrimps. Kids box is ok too. Everything else was in garbage. 20 years ago I sang the praises of this place high and low. These days it's utterly awful. I get stuck ordering from here often because the boyfriend loves their ribs. Pretty sure tonight is the last chance from me. The crab rangoons are mushy and flavorless. The fried shrimp last week grossed me out because they didn't clean out the poop/de-vein and I took a big bite and it flopped out. Seriously.. almost got sick.. Tonight's vegetable tempura is WHITE.. not friend golden brown. It's white and mushy and I ate the top thing and it was CELERY. What? I tossed the whole box and told the boyfriend I'm not eating there again. The beef terryaki was gristly. I just haven't liked one thing i've ordered here in the last 2 years at all. I've gone to Quan's for years. Their food is really good. I was frequenting the Attleboro location (which is nicer), but have been going to Mansfield the last few years. What bothered me recently was, I went to get a combo dinner plate. When I was paying, I said, are there 2 rolls in the bag? The girl said no, just one, and then the woman next to her said, it will cost more. I said, oh ok, I wanted 2 because I'm splitting this with someone. So she said, no, only if you pay $10. My order came to $9.90. Really??? The pork fried rice is hit or miss - sometimes it's really dry. But love their chow mein, spareribs (juicy, not dry) and chicken fingers. Long time, now former customer. I called last night (NYE) for Delivery. I was told no delivery. I asked for scallion pancakes and was told there was a limited menu. I asked for a substitution on my pu pu platter from shrimp to chicken wings because I am allergic and was told no substitutions tonight. I tried ordering Mongolian Beef, it was not on the limited menu. I drove to Quan's to pick up my food. I overheard someone complaining about the price of their food and the person behind the counter told them they had special pricing with the limited menu, the prices were higher than the normal menu. Basically, they gouged the customers with higher prices on NYE. I was stuck as I promised my son Chinese food, it was already 8 and I didn't have any other options. I definitely got taken advantage of at the register. This is not the type of place that deserves my business. read more

What can I say about this place? Hmn let's see steamed dumplings being called steamed raviolis? Or general tao's chicken being called something like general gau's chicken? Or the fact that if you do not order combos they overcharge you. Their food really does not have much taste to it. I would have to say they are not worth buying food from. I would prefer buying food from stop & shop and microwaving it before I go back to that dump. It is the worst chinese food if you can call it that that I have ever overpaid for. We ordered delivery here last night. When we saw the menu on the website, I couldn't recall if we had ordered there before. They had our address in their system, so clearly we had - obviously it was not memorable. Last night, we were quoted a 30-40 minute delivery time. Over an hour (and one phone call) later, they finally arrived. The food was luke warm and not good. I'm not convinced it would have been more appetizing if it arrived on time. I called back to let them know how late and not-delicious the food was. She said she would put a note in my account to deliver my order on time the next time. Huh? You need a note for that. Eventually, she said she would add in a $20 credit for our next order. I am open to trying to use that credit to eat there, but not in any hurry and certainly won't be using it for delivery. read more

I can only comment on the takeout, which is not good. It's your typical Americanized Chinese with a lot of soy and grease. The fried rice is a deep brown because it's so full of soy sauce and the meats are always greasy. My family is pretty big on Americanized stuff and even they don't finish our Quan's food when we forget how much we dislike it and grab takeout. And Quan's is not cheap. We did takeout for six and it cost us $80 for food that no one enjoyed. The only good thing I've ever had is the string beans, which are amazing. But other than that, Quan's is not good. read more

Tried this place again with my family and tried several new dishes. Most of our food was really delicious and i loved it. There were a few things that were just okay and def could have been done better. So definitely a better 2nd impression and i'll be coming back for their Crab Rangoon for sure! read more

I've tried a lot of different take out chinese. This is probably the best I've had. The boneless spare ribs were moist and not laced with chunks of fat like many other places. The fried rice is decent and the General Gao's chicken was light on spice but heavy in flavor. I'd definitely dine here again. I recently moved from China and Quan's is the best food I've eaten since I got off the boat.

Good food, a few dollars more than many similar restaurants but the portions are big enough - my Orange Beef had a generous amount of beef and a ton of sauce (which I like). My only complaint is that you have to pay extra for rice, which is cheap enough to make that they should include it with the meal like most places do. read more

I sometimes run over here to grab lunch for my parents when they come to visit, as I live nearby and my parents really like this place. They are a bit more expensive than other Chinese food restaurants, but I find the quality and servings to be more than adequate. Also, over a certain dollar amount they will give you free extras, which is always a bonus! It's very small inside, as it's obvious that their primary business is take out. I asked for one of my dishes to be made extra spicy, and it was prepared perfectly. The staff is friendly, food is ready in 10-15 minutes, and I really like the Peking raviolis. Mind you this is after we spent 1/2 hour shoveling our driveway and walkway so there were no problems with him delivering in the snow. Disgusting! Egg rolls taste bad and like previously frozen, fried food tastes like old grease. Boneless ribs are like 90% gristle, Most dishes bland with poor ingredients. Honestly didn't really like Chinese food until I ate here. I absolutely love the crab Rangoon, boneless ribs and scallions pie. Not to mention the general gaus chicken which was amazing and the dinner plates are great combinations for reasonable prices. The service was really good. The people on the phone were very nice and polite. The place is also very clean I always see them cleaning and organizing. Once I had to wait longer then the time I was told but it was also very busy so I couldn't really blame them. Highly recommend it. Most people aren't aware their entrees don't come with rice so just remember to order that seperatly Also Mansfield is mostly take out and delivery if you want to have a real nice dinner their other locations have great dine ins. read more

Not horrible, rather Quan's of Mansfield is just sub par. It's the type of place we eat at when every other source of food in unobtainable. An interesting fact is that they have a sister location in North Attleboro that serves excellent food and provides a wonderful dining experience each and every visit. I work in the area and I love this restaurant for a quick lunch or a take-out dinner. The restaurant itself is small with only a few tables but it appears that it is more geared for take out business. The luncheon and dinner combination plates are huge and often times can be stretched into two meals. The food itself is typical, nothing that is memorable, but that can work both ways as there has never been an unpleasnt surprise, only satisfaction! The staff is cordial and efficient and on a recent visit there was a young girl that was heading off to college in the fall that desrves a raise...she was the epitamy of customer service. The reatuarant has always been exceptionally clean, including the kitchen that can be viewed from the counter through glass windows. Another bonus for me is that it is part of the IDine programs which which gives rewards in airline miles. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Mansfield area for take-out or for a no frills dine-in experience! read more
