This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my 50+ years on the planet. Chicken chow mein is gross the sauce is black and tastes burnt with no vegetables or chicken and no flavor. The pupu platter lives up to the name of poo poo. Boneless ribs were chunks of pork not the traditional ones you usually get chicken fingers were greasy and flavorless. The egg rolls are frozen egg rolls from a food distributor same as the dumplings and shrimp. These are not made in house. The best thing was the pork fried rice but even that needed salt. What Chinese food needs salt it is usually too salty . Service food was ready quick and the place looked pretty clean. Would I give it another try no way and I suggest you don't as we there are better options in the area read more

Gave a homeless man on the corner 10 dollars to buy some food. physically saw him give the 10 dollars to them and he was supposed to be given food. they instead took his money, did not give him his food, and closed up and left before he could come back. terrible service, stared at us with ugly remarks while giving him money. they were immediately rude to him as he walked in, barely giving him attention and just nodding. terrible place, no reason to deny a man his food just because he is homeless. read more

I actually liked this place despite the reviews. The crab rangoons were fresh and crispy. The sweet and sour chicken was good. The fried rice was a bit darker than I like but it wasn't that bad. Golden Dragon has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The food is great, the prices are reasonable and the portions are huge! We order from them about once a month and I don't think we've been disappointed once. I'm extremely sensitive to MSG and have NEVER had a problem with their food. If you like noodles the Beef Chow Fun is delicious, so are their egg rolls! This is our go to Chinese restaurant since most places are so expensive now. Golden Dragon is the best! read more

I don't know what happened to this place, but tonights order was definitely the last time we'll be ordering from here. We always found the food to be acceptable, but no more. Last time there was a noticeable change in the tastes and quality which we attributed to a "bad night", but after tonights fiasco, I sad to say, we're done with Golden Dragon. I don't know what happened to the beef lomein, but there was virtually no taste in the sauce (the beef was ok). My wife ordered a combination plate. The chicken fingers were way overcooked, the general pao was passable at best, and instead of chicken teriyaki, she got what appeared to be sweet and sour pork (on sticks). The food is excellent for the low prices. Especially the boneless ribs which where cubes of meat rather than the usual strips. Food is served quick and the counter staff are very nice. Limit yourself to takeout though. The inside of the restaurant is pathetic with wobbly tables and questionable chairs. Even the front counter is disintegrating. read more

Their setup during COVID has a decent idea but needing to talk into a intercom while wearing a mask can be an issue and having a rude response because they can't hear me even though I repeated and spoke very clearly is a turn off. I don't know what drug they put in their beef with broccoli but I'm an addict. A beef broccoholic I've became since working near this place. Tried this place for the first time last night. Ordered the D17 combination. General Tsaos chicken, chicken teriyaki and chicken tenders. About ten dollars...and it was enough food for a family of four, easily. It was all delicious. You would be hard pressed to find a better value elsewhere. Also, the service was outstanding very nice over the phone...it was near closing time when I arrived and they could not have been more friendly. Nope. D17 (Gen. Tsos), extra spicy: Half the box is entree, the rest rice. SIX chicken fingers the diameter of a silver dollar. Three skewers of teriyaki. Hit ten bucks on the order and ask for spring rolls? Free pair of them. It's far more than fair for the price. Sure, you can go to Hong Kong City if you want to wait and dine in some measure of elegance, but if you want take out and have leftovers, this is the spot in Taunton. read more

I never used to come to this place. Always go to lucky corner in Raynham or Big Wong in Taunton. I finally tried this place and Oh My Goodness! This is by far the best Chinese food in Taunton. I love the chicken chow mein (small is like 3.50 nd large 6.50). I would definitely recommend you try Golden Dragon. It doesn't look like much on the outside but family friendly and the prices are awesome for great quality food. The fried rice is moist and all food is no msg and tastes more homemade than usually. Especially the sauce for the egg foo young, appears to have little bits of mushrooms and has a more authentic taste that I've never experienced before at a Chinese restaurant.... Give them a try. I don't know how it happened but this place went from being very good to pretty Bad, last 3x's we ordered it has been less than good and then tonight I ordered lobster sauce and an egg roll = the lobster sauce was not edible I am positive whatever is in it is spoiled & gooey. They included a small white rice (for the chow mein, I'm assuming?) and a package of 2 free spring rolls (they wrote the word "free" on the wrapper).
