    Crispy Chicken Pad Thai Lunch
    Donna M.

Chicken Basil Fried Rice - lunch Chicken Pad Thai - lunch Very good - asked for veg to be cut fine, which they did.

Solid spot for some thai food. Got the crispy duck, some spring rolls, wonton soup, and some sushi. Everything was really good. The service was a little uneven. The man's service was good - the woman was rushing us. Would return however.

This place has the best pork fried dumplings in the word. I would order 1000 of them if I could. The server was incredibly nice and the food came out fast. Overall I would recommend to anyone!

Mango Stir-Fry with Shrimp and Chatta Box Chow Mein with Pork

First visit, based on high recommendation from a friend. We'll be back! Pork Chow Mein with spinach noodles was great! My wife had Mango stir fry with shrimp and enjoyed it. Reasonably priced.

I had yet another amazing dinner here and so much to choose from so I have decided to try one dish different in the future! My waitress was so personable and helpful that I felt I was in her own home! Food and its preparation has to been experienced! Thank you!

Chicken Super Crazy Pad Thai Lunch

Friendly staff. Fast service. Fairly priced, delicious Asian food. Got the crazy pad thai with chicken for around $13. Super flavorful and huge portions. Definitely will be back for lunch.

Speedy and friendly service. The restaurant is little but not too tight. Entrees are BIG, our 4 kids split 2 entrees with plenty left over. Sushi is flavorful and beautiful. Definitely coming back!

Spider maki was terrible. There was some sort of plastic or shell throughout. Also website doesn't say anything about it being fried. I don't think this is good. I hope I don't get sick

This was a gem. To be a city gal and visit your family in a suburb you never know what your gonna get! Let me say I don't need to eat at 99's again! So my cousin recommended this place. It's small inside no frills. We started with a a tempura platter. Man it was delish and the sauces were bomb. Then I ordered the pa ka. Holy cow it was so good. True authentic Thai food. This place should be way more popular for how bomb the food was!!!! I will be back when I come to see my extended family. This Cali gal is a fan!!!

We walked into a warmly decorated dining room where the staff remained accommodating even during a busy Friday night when the pace naturally slowed a bit. The Hainanese chicken is the dish to build the meal around, earning the most consistent praise for good reason. The chicken came out tender and well seasoned, with a depth of flavor from the poaching process done properly. The rice that accompanied it absorbed enough of the cooking liquid to stand on its own rather than just serving as a base. The curry chicken in particular has a sauce worth working through to the last spoonful, and pairing it with white rice or the coconut rice made the whole bowl feel complete. The roti canai is the starter most people reach for first, and it is worth having alongside the mains, flaky and well made with the curry dipping sauce doing its job. The beef rendang and chow kueh teow rounded out a menu that rewards ordering widely across a table. A few dishes landed on the milder side compared to what a more assertive Malaysian kitchen might deliver, so if you want bolder heat it is worth asking when ordering. The lunch combination sets offer strong value if your schedule allows for a midday visit. For a Malaysian restaurant in Chinatown that delivers on the Hainanese chicken and roti canai, Penang is a solid and much needed option in the neighborhood.

Fish cakes were small and perfectly uniform - almost like they were frozen rather than prepared on site. Green curry had some spice but was mostly one note, there just wasn't much depth of flavor. Vegetables were all cut in huge hunks - both dishes had giant pieces of red bell peppers and onions. Fried rice was pretty bland and barely had any Chinese broccoli in it. Ambiance was bare bones - you order at the counter and they bring you your food and plastic side plates. Half the tables were stacked with boxes and bags of takeout orders. To top it off there's no bathroom, we were told to use the bathroom at another local business. If I'm gonna spend $60 somewhere, I expect to be able to wash my hands before eating and use the restroom. Perhaps there are some specialty dishes that we didn't try but this was my 2nd time ordering from here (I got take out once before) and both times the food was pretty bland. A truly underwhelming experience - especially when there are so many better restaurants in the area.

We made our order quickly at the counter and asked for dine-in option. AMBIANCE We sat down in one of the booths as the line got longer behind us. It was buzzing from the people but still relatively empty dining area. In 10 minutes or so while grabbing water and utensils, the desk manager served us our food on plastic cutlery. FOOD Our food came quickly and exactly as ordered in spite of the nightly rush and scramble. We ordered the classics C1 with egg roll, boneless spare ribs, and chicken fingers and pork fried rice and D5 with chicken and mixed vegetables. The food came out hot and tasted exactly as we expected and when we asked for chopsticks and extra condiments, it was provided as soon as possible despite the long customer line. I see ratings here complaining about quality and speed... and I say this... comparing a lower-priced, casual spot to a higher-priced restaurant on quality and expectations isn't fair, as their resources, ingredients, and service models are just fundamentally different. Casual spots are designed to offer quick, accessible meals and a relaxed atmosphere and this local spot has never disappointed in our 4-5 visits here so far! Definitely is a go-to for the classic American Chinese food that's hearty, fast, tasty, well-prices and local to get your fix in.

Although the serving staff might be so busy as I only see her alone. Came for the dine out dinner menu so I got an app, entree and dessert. The keing D' ananas (cubed porked in a shrimp and fish broth like curry with pineapple) and beef bourguigon was amazing and hands down one of the best in Boston I have tried so far. The entree for mussels and fried pork spring rolls are great but nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, the desserts we got the chocolate truffle cake and that was rich but very delicious. But I personally like a lighter taste so the poached pear with raspberry sorbet was a nice touch to the end! The reviews looked good and I was excited to try their unique menu... well, let's just say we were very disappointed. First of all the prices are very expensive. I know this is Boston, but $17 for a cocktail is ridiculous! Our server was lovely, he was very kind and had a kind spirit. I was excited to try the "Rouleaux" since they remind me of the eggrolls, my mother learned from her Vietnamese mother-in-law. It was very crispy, which unfortunately is the only good thing I can say about it. The flavor was so off. It's almost as if the ingredients in the Rouleaux were loudly competing for my attention simultaneously! It didn't really melt in your mouth either, it just felt heavy. The other appetizer we ordered was called Dumplings croustillants au poet epics. This was actually worse than first appetizer. I like lemongrass, but MAN the lemongrass was so overpowering. I started to wonder... "is this how it's always made"?! I'm not even exaggerating. Overall, the atmosphere was nice - definitely pricey, and the food isn't worth the hype. Till next eats, SJ
