Our usual place was closed, so we decided to go with Mee King since it was close by. All of us had already had at least one plate full of food, and some of us had gone for seconds. It was then that someone looked down at their plate (one of their last bites) and saw a dead cockroach. It had come from either the rice or the lo mein. We all immediately stopped eating and lost our appetites. We contacted Mee King and they refunded us our order and had a delivery driver (not friendly by the way) come pick up all the food. Never again will order from here. Gave 1 star because it doesn't let you review without doing so.

If that wasn't enough the beef teriyaki was BURNED. These are visual problems, they saw what they were packaging up. No mistake. I waited until my guests left to contact them, unfortunately, they had closed for the evening. I called Thursday the next day and the woman that answered said call back because she didn't work Wednesday. I called back Friday and the all of a sudden didnt understand what I was talking about. Clearly at Mee King in Bridgewater the customer means nothing. A valid complaint and I was treated as an idiot. I know they speak English we used to buy food there regularly but will NEVER go there again.

All I can say is the Bridgewaters deserve a decent Asian Restaurant, one that caters to the local tastes of course but also one the can offer what the Boston area offers, the local restaurateurs must know that a lot of locals work in Boston and get authentic food whenever they feel like it? Why cant we get that here? What a shame. read more

Very deep and easy to navigate menu, most notable for combination plates being available around the clock and many of the classic items available in both small and large sizes. Egg Roll: Crisp shell with an interesting concoction inside, boasting chopped celery, carrots (not common), pork crumbles, and an unusual seasoning sort of along the lines of five spice but even more fragrant. A little crunchy, a little moist. Above average. Wontons: Crunchy. Nothing special but nothing wrong with them. Standard. Spareribs: Good sized bones with white cross sections, bright red glaze adequately applied, and some char in almost every bite. Juices trickling. Well above average to near-elite, but on a scale of how much it takes you back to the golden era of old school New England Chinese Food, it's off the charts. Chicken Wings: More crisp than they looked, with juicy interiors and a pleasing five spice flavor. Well above average. Sweet and Sour Chicken: A small order still netted at least a dozen large golden nuggets, perfectly crisped. A little heavy on the oil and very light on the chicken compared to the batter. Sauce was served on the side in a small bowl with a very small amount of it, enough for barely half of the fingers. Moo Goo Gai Pan: This is a dish I haven't had for at least 30 years, so I can't really compare to the competition. Sure, it was very subtle of flavor, but the chicken was of high quality, cut well, tender, and moist. Service was excellent. Value was excellent. Parking was easy. If I lived nearby, I'd go fairly often.
