I have been going to Quan's for a minimum of 25 years and never had a problem. I aways order a pupu platter with no chicken fingers. Just delete them. Not a substitution. The girl on the phone refused to delete them saying it was their policy not to. Then she asked if I had ever ordered at Quan's before. I asked for the manager and the girl called me an a**hole and hung up. I called back and got the manager who told me to order somewere else. I'm done withQuan's. Inconsistent. We started going here cause the food was pretty good. Last night, it was horrible. Orange chicken had no orange flavor. The egg roll was hard and chewy. Honestly the experience I had was not good. I was charged 58 dollars for two things I wanted as combos. They charged me separately and when I spoke up about it , all he did was argue with me because the food was already made and that there's nothing he can do. Regardless of it being ready, I should've just asked for my money back and left. They listened to my who conversation and he came up to the table trying to pack up our food when he wasn't asked to . I love Chinese food and it takes a lot to get me to not enjoy it, yet somehow my trip to Mansfield ended with some pretty not so great food, sadly. It was Christmas Day and I was in need of some Chinese food for dinner in a town I knew nothing about, which led me to Quan's Kitchen. I placed my order over the phone and in 15-20 minutes I was ready to pick it up. The staff was super quick and had me out the door in a matte of seconds. I ended up ordering the sweet and sour chicken combo with the teriyaki beef on a stick with rice. The teriyaki beef on a stick was pretty good and had a decent flavour to it. The rice was pretty bland for fried rice and left much to be desired in the flavour department. The sweet and sour chicken was quite possibly the worst I've had, which is shocking because it's usually my favourite. The breading has a real funky taste to it that I just couldn't put my finger on, and it ruined the entire experience. Overall, I was not thrilled with my experience with Quan's Kitchen and it left much to be desired. I didn't actually go to this location but I had delivery from them. They knew my location which was a hotel and they made sure to ask for my room number and phone number in case. The order came quickly and it was still warm. Everything was wrapped in plastic to make sure nothing leaked which was a nice touch. The food was good and it was large portions even for the lunch specials which is what I got. I'll have to try the actua restaurant next time. read more

The House special didn't have much flavor, not sure what was all in the egg roll but it was dry, I did enjoy the wings they was decent. The best experience I had with this place was I got my food pretty quick. The house special was actually better the next day when added some soy sauce but I couldn't finish the egg rolls. My friend ordered something different and he said his food was good, I think it was the pork fu yun, and wonton soup. read more

Quans Mansfield for take out does the trick during these times. Pan fried dumplings are light with a nice filling. Bone in ribs are particularly good. Not as meaty as your standard ribs as they are baby backs but oh so tender!! Shrimp and Lobster sauce is flavorful with the right amount of black beans, as with most places, shrimp could be bigger but they are very tender. Ginger scallion lo mein is top notch. Just need them to start offering mai tais to go!! read more

I live in Mansfield and order from here pretty regularly. There are a few tables inside but it is generally just a take out place. One of my favorite things here is a soup, and I am not a big soup person. The chicken wonton soup is the best wonton soup I have ever had anywhere. There are chicken wontons and additional chicken pieces in the soup along with big chunks of fresh vegetables - zucchini, summer squash, carrots, snap peas, bok choy (?), mushrooms and scallions. A small container with a piece of bread on the side is almost a meal in itself. The broth is perfect every time - flavorful but not too salty. The combination plates are around $10 but you get more for your money than most other places I have been to locally. Rice, lo mein, chicken and beef dishes are good among the ones I've tried. The only thing that bugs me is that some of the staff at the counter are nice and some are unfriendly. read more

Bought take out from Quans and Fresh Catch (sushi), next door, for sons 13th birthday. Not impressed with the cooking at the other Quans on Rte 1 on Attleboro, but this location was much better. We had a chicken yaki udon noodles, nice flavor, we'll cooked, nice gravy. General Gaos chicken, plenty of broccoli, chicken chunks not overwhelmed with batter and sauce was not too thick. Last, a green bean with beef, plenty of string beans, nice slices of beef, great gravy. Overall, nice cooking, great gravy, good portion size. Will definitely recommend and come back. I don't understand the dinner roll thing though, instead of rice. I guess that is a Massachusetts thing read more

I ordered small boneless, spare rib, a small lobster sauce, vegetable lo mein I had to explain to please have the noodles blistered so it was kind of well done. Normally the lo mein comes out looking , very light in color and quickly in a wok for a short period of time. It comes out very flavorless. If you understand food/ cooking/woks the noodles need to be ever so slightly blistered. Of course the color/ help to tell if it will have flavor. Or it was in & out of a wok in two seconds. Lastly a chicken chop Suey with no zucchini, summer squash add onion. The gentleman on the phone seems quite busy with customers at the takeout counter while speaking with me. Honestly, the lobsters sauce had very little ground pork. It was more like lobster soup?? There was a ton of sauce disappointing. When looking @ the boneless spareribs, there was burnt edges on all of them they looked extremely dry and old. So I took a smell of them & the boneless spareribs, had a real funny smell. That was the final straw. I called to let them know & explain my dismay nicely. I was only going to ask for a credit on two items. I wanted to return the ribs & lobster soup I mean sauce! The gentleman on phone was defensive. I would have keep 2 dishes & maybe some day try 1 item?! He didn't want honest feedback eventually gave in & sent driver back w my cash. $66.00 w tip. He didn't handle the situation well @ all. Unprofessional & terrible food. I did want this to happen like this but it's about quality food/ the service/ lack of value? I naturally still tipped driver for his troubles. I would never spend a dime here. I was rudely told to stay away from the business?!! Food was ok, Surprised to find quantities down in size. the teriyaki had 3 tiny pieces. no longer getting the added app surprise for spending near $100 but I was surprised to see they charged my online order of $86 a 15% tip? I do not tip for takeout. but i guess with them it is mandatory, paid using their online app. never selected a tip amount and my card was accepted at the $86. but when my daughter returned with the receipt, lo and behold an additional charge (tip?) brought it to $96. Clean and very well organized, you get in and out quickly, but not at the expense of the food which is always fresh and well prepared. If you like your food with a little spice I recommend the Strange Flavored Chicken or the Mongolian Crispy Shrimp. Big shout-out to Ami who typically takes my order when I visit. On my $50 order... half of it was correct. The crab rangoon was actually chopped chicken, we didn't get the fried peking dumplings ordered. I was very surprised when they said that the order would be ready (as big as it was) within 10 minutes. When we got home and saw that 3 out of 6 items were incorrect, I placed a call. The phone was handed to a woman, who then informed me that her computer said differently. So, even when they screw up your order (whether taking it, cooking it, or delivering it) the customer is ALWAYS wrong. Long time customer. Food was always good but today I found a bug in my lomein. I am so grossed out by it. My husband threw out the food before I could take a picture.
