Hmmm....Well, this place left me feeling a little meh. I know we'd been here before too, but evidently forgot to do a review. In fairness, it's hard to find really decent Thai food around here and certainly in Foxboro, where the spiciest food is likely to be the sauce that goes with your chicken mcnuggets. Anyhoo, positive points: the quantity is sufficient, especially with the green curry. I thought they were sufficiently generous with the chicken and veggies. Less so, I thought, with the veggies and chicken in the Pad Thai. Comes with white rice. We also got Tod Mun Pla (fried fish cakes) as an app. These were rubbery and chewy and largely flavorless. The sauce was actually pretty good, as was the quantity. Taste? Well now, I already gave you my impression of the Tod Mun Pla (see above). The green curry was kind of bland, especially given that it was a two-stars for spiciness dish. The Pad Thai also tasted kind of plain. Prices were around what you'd expect to pay, if not a tiny bit more. read more

My group attempted to patron this establishment with a service dog in uniform (it was a black lab from the NEADs organization in Princeton, MA), but the owner refused to serve us. This was conveniently located across from the Hampton In. In Mansfield/Foxborough, Massachusetts; otherwise I likely would not have chosen to eat thai foods. I was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, generous and fresh! The server was most pleasant and the service prompt! I ordered a glass of white zinfandel and the seafood combo. The shrimp and scallops were large and freshly cooked, then combined with fresh pea pods, summer squash, red and green peppers, cashews, mushrooms, baby corn and a tasty sauce .. served over white rice. Excellent! Even the water was served in a large goblet over clear ice and was refreshingly tasteless .. Few restaurants have such good water as this. It was early, about 4:00 and only a few tables were eating at that time, but their take-out was continuously busy. Seems I found another 'local treasure'. read more

I tried dining in for the first time after a long while. They follow the health guidelines with everyone wearing masks until it's time to eat or drink. Their capacity is down to half. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and I thought the noodles were soggy and the presentation isn't typical for this dish. Anyway, it tasted good. I came another time and ordered the Shrimp Pad See Ew. The pad Thai tasted strange and a bit funky. The fresh rolls had a very gummy wrapper around shredded lettuce and a small piece of chicken. The peanut sauce that they served was yummy. When I came to college in the US 25 years old, one of my peers was from Thailand and she introduced me to Bangkok Café and told me: "this is authentic Thai food." So I have been going there on and off for years. They still have the best Pad Thai around. I loved their Massaman curry, their Tom Kar soup and so much more. Went to Bangkok cafe in Foxboro tonight. Was very Pleasantly surprised. I liked the decor inside and I was greeted with a friendly smile. The food was amazing and fresh but most importantly authentic. I had a dish that is kinda like lard but made a little different. I asked for it wicked spicy and that's exactly what they gave me. Got take out from this place on Friday after recommendation from a friend. Food was very tasty, we requested Spice level as 4 stars not knowing it meant Wicked Spicy, it was too hot to handle. But since the food was so delicious. It was worth it. Only reason to take away couple of stars is because of the quantity of the food. It is way to less for the price they are charging. Ordered 2 orders of scallion pancakes, literally there were bite sized 7 pieces for almost 8$. This is the lease quantity for item which just consists dough. It is not like meats which cost them ton of money or there is some shortage because of the pandemic. I hope they do look in to this . First time at Bangkok Cafe and it was amazing. The service was excellent. When we first step in the door we were greeted and seated within a few minutes. The place was well kept and had plenty of tables. The decorations were also really cool that gave a place a nice vibe. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup with Shrimp and it was tasty. I have been to many Thai Restaurants and this was one of the best Tom Yum I ever had. The shrimp was fresh and larger than most places. I had the Seafood Mania for my entree and it was amazingly good with a kick to it. You get generous portions. I capped my meal off with the Lucky Lychee Drink and it was made to perfection. Sweet n Sour beef..great vegetables and sauce. Fresh roles: always. Consistently awesome and polite service. Very nice people and treat you like family. Can't believe there is even one negative review if so, must be from a jealous competitor or something just does not compute or fit with the 22 years of weekly experiences I have had there including today! Look at this dish for lunch...yummy. and yes the WATER is awesome!! i had 3 glasses...always taste fresh in clean glasses... refreshing with the spicy food! I like this restaurant. It's clean and efficient. The food is very well prepared, possibly American-tinged Thai, but still delicious. My true tests: Tom Yum, and Satay Chicken are what you want here. Both are flavorful and delicious. Green curry chicken or tofu is fresh and clean. Emerald chicken is good for cilantro-lovers, like me. I have tested many Thai restaurants from Danvers to Boston/Cambridge to Needham, and surrounding towns and cities. The Bankock is about 20 min. from my house, and I'll make the drive for a real treat. Everyone out here orders takeaway, so you could actually enjoy the restaurant in peace and quiet and have a cold beer in comfort. read more
